I contacted VLRV for service on my main air conditioner on my 5th wheel RV. When I called to set…read moreup an appointment, I explained that my unit was not working at all and it appeared the fan motor had frozen up. Two technicians arrived right on time, and hit the ground running. A quick check from inside the rv of the power to the unit confirmed that the motor had indeed frozen up. Within minutes they were up on the roof with a new motor that they had brought with them. After about 30 minutes or less, they were down and checking that everything was running well and that the unit was cooling As it should. They were both very professional and made sure that all was well before they left. They know what works and what doesn't, and what it will cost to repair your gear if and when something breaks. Tony's is a busy shop, so if you know when you will need your RV to be ready to roll, it's best to call way ahead of time to reserve an appointment. It's best to give them a list of everything you need fixed, along with model numbers and suchlike, so that they can order your parts ahead of time. If you are a full-time RV dweller and repairs will take more than one day, they will let you stay overnight at their facility and use their electrical hookup if you request this in advance.

I was told about RV1, a new business a short distance from Charleston, SC, where the accident happened. I went there and told James, the service manager, what had happened. He personally climbed on top of the rig, disconnected the electric, removed the broken glass solar panel and it's bent frame. Not only was he so helpful and personable, he refused payment when I asked what I owed for his prompt and over-the-top (pun intended) service. I truly wish I could say you meet people like James every day.
