He also recommended I install a riser because our tank lid was 24" below grade in clay soils and a problem to dig up. so I got the riser and cover and we installed while he had the tank uncovered. Having to use his backhoe service is an extra cost but they were very upfront in what the potential costs would be if I didn't have the access lid uncovered before the service. Would highly recommend.

But it's not very comfortable stooping, or even having your ...uh..."unit"...dealing with the frigid breezes of Northern Idaho in the Winter. That's where St. Joe Potty Huts come in and gives you a "house", an "outhouse", to protect your body from the elements while you can do your business. OUR HOUSE....IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR STREET ..or wooded path as the case may be. Standard white 6' foot wooden outhouse to sit in the woods while the ranchhouse and wellhouse and other property buildings get made.
