I have been under Doctor Beadle's excellent care for last 4 years, he is a very knowledgeable,…read moreprofessional and very caring doctor. Doctor Beadle and his medical assistant Erika went the extra mile to help me working with my insurance to get that medication I needed. All of Doctor Beadle's staff is friendly, respectable, kind and helpful. I really appreciate Doctor Beadle and his team helping me with my health! They are the best!!! I highly recommend them!!!!

We've been Patients in the MethodistNetwork for over 20yrs .We have remained in-network, even with…read moreour last 2 Doctors retiring. We've always received compassionate care, respectful interaction & comfort in knowing that our Dr cared about us as human beings. That changed with our most recent move to Dr. Eric Beadle. Our PCP before was Dr. Kathleen Humphries. She was kind, empathetic & she listened to our concerns, always looking for ways to put us at ease, help us understand the HealthPlan she recommended & answered our questions with patience & concern. She always went beyond the boundaries of black & white, to customize our care to our special needs. For example, we've had times in the past where the blood pressure medicines that I was on just didn't seem to do the job but we always worked to find the right balance, to get it back under control. During the times when it was "out of whack", she instructed her staff to approve my refills on those medications, even if I couldn't get in right away, because she was truly concerned about my health. Not a rigid policy of having to actually see me in person to authorize a medication refill. Any time that she was concerned about my HBP readings, she would call me, to see what we needed to do. I truly admired how she put my care first & treated me as she would treat her own family. Unfortunately for us, she retired. That care & compassion is what we have come to expect since all of our Doctors seemed to carry that same desire to form relationships with their patients, beyond the Patient File. The Doctor before her, who also left the practice, was also kind, compassionate, caring, respectful & decent. He was a good man, as well as a good Doctor. All of the descriptions above would not apply to our recent experience with Dr. Beadle. My Pharmacy had sent over refill requests for my BP medicines & they were denied several times. The Pharmacy said that they had no explanation & suggested I email the Doctor, to find out what happened. Our Pharmacy was so kind that they actually loaned me a few pills, thinking it was just an error. I messaged Dr. Beadle's office through MyChart & explained that I had been without my medications, that my BP was spiking daily and I told them how it was affecting my health. I told them that I thought it was cruel that my refills were being denied without any explanation & reminded them that they take an Oath "to do no harm". I explained that Dr. Humphries always approved my refills because of my issues with BP in the past & I told them that I was now regretting our switch to his office since she retired. I have been suffering without those medicines. What I received shocked me. I expected a response, providing a reason for the denials but also perhaps an apology for not getting those filled sooner, knowing my health issues, or at least questions, to see how I was. Instead I received a message, from Dr. Beadle saying that he would fill my Rx for 30 days in order to give me time to find a new Doctor. He even blocked me from being able to see another Dr. in the same Office. My jaw dropped. In my 20+ years seeing Doctors at all levels of Specialty within the Methodist System for our family, from Surgeons to Neurologists to Pulmonologists, I've never been treated so unprofessionally. I had not cursed, insulted or threatened anyone at the practice. I had not messaged or called incessantly or harassed anyone. I had only expressed frustration & fear for my health, as chronic HBP can cause Strokes, damage your kidneys, cause anemia, non-stop headaches, etc. Uncontrolled HBP is dangerous. I messaged once & that was his response. He basically said to me, "Not happy? Go somewhere else." That is not professional. That is not compassionate. That is not empathetic. That is not kind. His response was cruel, immature, petty. Once again, I have never experienced this type of behavior from ANY Doctor in the Methodist system, until Dr. Beadle. I am filing a Complaint with the Texas Medical Board & would not recommend him to anyone.

I adore Dr Santone; apparently so does everyone else because she has a long waiting list to get in. I scheduled my annual check-up and for insurance reasons I needed it done by the end of 2018 so the only Dr. with an opening was Dr. Sims. That should have been my warning. I went in on December 12th for a full annual check-up; top to bottom, EKG, blood work. While I was there I asked him to refill my prescription that I have been on since 2012. (It is in no way used to treat pain-or any kind of opioid). He did. He also wanted to run some tests based off my last blood results a year earlier. I have worked with Dr Santone to address these issue (diet, exercise, supplements) so I didn't do the additional test as I wanted to see what the new blood results turned up. When January rolled around and it was time to get another months prescription he REFUSED to give me a refill without coming in and paying for another appointment. There was no reason for me to come in as I had just gone through a physical 30 days prior. My blood results had improved. It is my opinion he only does this so he can bill the insurance company. I did contact my insurance company to let them know. Hopefully, they will do some investigation into his billing practices.

Post discharge this doctor didn't even perform a basic physical exam, he just nodded while she described her symptoms. I had to beg for some basic routine labs because oit's clear with the naked eye the enlargement of her thyroid! When I asked for the labs then he said he would refer me to pain dr to do steroid inject. I worked at UTSW and inform him of the correct specialist referral, he argued and insisted we use his long-time friend's clinic, which felt more like a kickback scheme than genuine care. He repeatedly pushed supplements from his inoffics pharmacy (apparently another "partner" of his) and told us not to go to the ER--even when it was clearly warranted--instead directing us to call his office for a CT scan. I had to practically beg for routine labs, and he wanted us to do at his "inhouse labs" even though it was closed. when the nurse finally agreed to write for labs, she "forgot" to send in the orders or follow up with results. His bedside manner is distant and uncaring, and he even wont let you develop Rapport with him. Every visit feels like a waste of time and money. If you want compassionate care, honest referrals, and a doctor who actually examines you, look elsewhere.
