I've taken my dogs to this groomer for approximately the past year and a half earlier last week I brought both of my dogs there to be groomed after I brought my dog home I noticed that she was licking herself I didn't pay much attention to it until she seem to be focusing on just one leg about three days later I called the vet and got an appt they shaved back the hair on her leg and she had a 1 inch gash on her leg she literally had not been anywhere else other than the groomers so I politely Called and spoke with Danielle who informed me that Cindy was out of town for the entire weekend at a dog show. Cindy called me Monday to tell me that I told Danielle that I didn't bring her to the vet for entire week and she probably licked her leg until it basically developed this injury to itself and that they would know if they cut the dog as it would have yelped and bled so she basically accused me of lying! Well Cindy you just cost yourself a customer with two dogs and believe me I will tell everyone I know about how you chose to handle this. read more

My baby Vishnu (9 year old Golden Retriever) and I can not say enough about Pampered Paws in Cicero, NY! He has been going there for 5+ years on a very regular schedule and always looks SO HANDSOME and HAPPY when I get him back. Danielle is his girl there and he absolutely adores her! He is a total Momma's Boy and seems to always be at my side, so the fact that he's never in a hurry to leave her makes me feel 100% secure in knowing he is being well cared for while he is being groomed and in their care. I would like to give a great review to this company. Not only did they do amazing work but when I needed an emergency flea bath, they opened up and took us right in. I am all about giving money to local businesses instead of corporate businesses. I would highly recommend using this company for all your animals needs. We lost our sweet little Venus girl on February 12, 2018. She was a Shihtzu, 13 years old. We moved to Cicero in 2011. Cindy Stone, owner and Groomer at Pampered Paws has groomed 2 of our dogs since we came to town, Venus and Freckles, who was a PartiPoodle and a real loverboy. Sadly, he passed away several years ago. We can not say enough good things about Cindy and her shop and her staff. They always did an excellent job of grooming. The shop is always spotless and the staff is always professional and friendly. Everyone we ever ran into always told us how adorable our dogs looked. If Cindy had any issues with swollen anal glands or undetected sores or dry skin problems or whatever the case may have been, Cindy would always let us know of any concerns she had discovered and recommend we contact the Vet, whom she also recommend to us, Cicero Animal Clinic on Route 31 in Cicero. They are awesome, as well ! Our pets loved going to Miss Cindy's ! You can just tell when your pets are comfortable with a person or not, and we always knew our pets were loved and treated kindly at Pampered Paws. We scheduled our appointments for every 5 weeks a year in advance. That is how confident we were that our Babies were in the best of hands. My Sister recently moved to Liverpool from Albany and she is now taking her little dog Dudley to Miss Cindy. He loves it there, too ! God Bless people like Cindy Stone who is not only a wonderful groomer, but also rescues Chows and often other breeds as well. I cannot express what a loving and compassionate gal Cindy is. We do not currently have a dog, but if we decide to rescue another dog, they will be meeting Miss Cindy for sure ! read more

Took our dog there for the first time and we're happy. Our dog hadn't been groomed in a couple years so she had a few matts and was in dire need. After a couple short hours, she came home looking great. Don't really care for the smell on her afterward, sort of "perfumey". Admittedly, most would prefer it over the "dog smell" she went in with, but we're somewhat sensitive. Anyway, we'll be going back and if anything chances would certainly update the review, as it stands, we're quite happy. :) read more

I have been bringing my 2 dogs here for almost a year and I would highly recommend them. The owner is very friendly and you can tell she really enjoys working with animals. She does an excellent job grooming the dogs! The only issue I've had is that sometimes it's hard to get an appointment...maybe that's because there's such high demand for their services! read more
