Ahri had a great weekend stay at Pampered Pets Bed & Biscuit! The staff is super kind and easy to work with. The only hard part is they are under staffed in the boarding area so sometimes getting ahold of someone to book is hard. However, when your dog is staying they instantly pick up because they have enough staff in that area. Ahri seems to be exhausted which means she definitely has a blast! It was a little over $220 for three nights, four stars package and a deluxe sweet. She also got a bath before we picked up Ahri. Keep in mind though she stayed over a weekend which made the rate higher. Overall, I highly recommend this place for your dog or cat! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! As once loyal customers, we had an extremely disappointing experience here. Our puppy was injured (twice in back-to-back days) while under the "care and supervision" of Pampered Pets. After the second injury, we had to take our puppy to the veterinarian and pay for the care to his injuries and prescribed medication. Both times, not one employee notified us of his injuries. I totally understand that injuries and mistakes happen, especially with puppies. However, it was the lack of transparency that really upset us. After the first injury, we told the staff the following morning that, when we picked our puppy up from daycare the previous day, we noticed had a laceration wound that was still wet with blood. We were told they would keep a closer eye on him. That same afternoon when we picked him up, we noticed he now had a large and very swollen puncture wound from another injury. Again, not one employee notified us of the injury. I brought the incidents to the attention of management, hoping they would provide us with a discount or reimbursement of some kind, for the daycare services or veterinary bill. Unfortunately, we were told the contract they make you sign in order to enroll your dog in daycare has an indemnity clause, which frees them from all injury liability that your dog sustains while under their care. While they aren't legally liable, the way this was handled was just completely unacceptable business practice and their negligence was glaring. My wife and I are newly weds and we paid very good money hoping our puppy would be safe and properly cared for while we worked. Not only did we not receive the services we paid for, we also incurred extra expenses in the form of a veterinary bill and medications. The lack of transparency and handling of this matter was so disappointing, we will no longer be taking our puppy to Pampered Pets. The only recourse we were offered (which they made VERY CLEAR that they did not legally have to provide us with) was a couple of free days of daycare for future stays. The LAST thing we want is to take our puppy back there. Hope it was worth losing a loyal and paying customer. We have since found a replacement Pet daycare and we could not be happier! read more

The staff was so kind and helpful when it came to correcting a miscommunication. My cat was very well taken care of also. I highly recommend them when it comes to someone caring for your fur baby. read more

I have two dogs that I have taken to this facility. I basset beagle mix and a husky. The staff seemed experienced and knowledgeable about both grooming methods for both types of dog. The staff wasn't very friendly when I arrived I wasn't promptly greeted. read more

We alwasy take our dog here when we are going out of town. We get the deluxe suite, which is not a cage, but a room with a glass door for the pet to see out of, a TV and a bed. It is not cheap - but I feel better leaving him here than in a cage somewhere. I also sign him up for a few play-times, a few walks and a bath on the last day. There are lots of add-ons you can choose, and of course they are expensive as well. They even have a webcam where you can log on and watch your dog in their "suite". I have never tried that, cause I really don't want to see how lonely he is :( Everyone is very friendly and I feel safe leaving my pet here. read more

I thought this was a great place, until... Short story, they lost (or stole) a very expensive blanket that we left for our dog while boarding for a few days. When I went to pick up my dog after a long weekend, I noticed his blanket was missing. You see, this place encourages you to leave whatever items you want to for your dog. In this case, our little dog loves this $70 blanket, so we leave it for him. This time, I called to let them know (5 minutes after leaving) that his blanket was missing, and they could not locate it. They said they would call me when they found it for pick up. The call never came. After about a dozen calls later, we were told the owner would call us. This never happened. I'm fed up. It's not because the blanket was lost, it's because they've done nothing about it. To this day (it's been 2 months), this is still unresolved. A replacement blanket would be nice, but even a credit for the cost would suffice. I'm not sure what the issue is, but I don't think we will take our dog here. We have not been unreasonable. We just want them to make it right. read more

I've been bringing my dog Macie here for daycare for about a year, and she absolutely loves it! She has lots of room to run and play with other dogs while I'm at work! I love seeing her get excited when I pull up to the building. I know she's being well taken care of! read more

This place is amazing. My Sadie is a rescue with many pup issues regarding other dogs. They worked with her, socializing her to a TINYs playgroup. She has mad so many great adjustments to this group. I am so pleased. We are moving back to Florida, and I will miss this wonderful doggie daycare as much as she will. Thank you to all the wonderful animal loving staff member! read more

Yogi use to go to this doggy daycare (last year). He absolutely loved it!!! I took him when he was 1yrs old for the first time, he loved it soo much that the next day he whimpered and kept looking at the door bc he wanted to go again! So, of course I took him lol. There is no other place like that doggy day care. They all have such a great time there. Yogi use to go for half a day, which was up to 6hrs for $9 sometimes I add the ice cream for him. He would come home soo happy and tired. They have an indoor and outdoor sessions and webcam available to watch them play. They always told me he was good and loves the kiddie pool. read more

We were new to the area and were looking for a new place to board our dog for upcoming getaways. In short, we found the best place in Fort Wayne. We toured numerous places, but none of them had the professionalism, kindness or quality that PPB&B. We took our dog for daycare a couple of times before boarding to get him more comfortable and he absolutely loved his time there and was wonderfully exhausted after getting home! We are lucky to have a place like this or we would have been stuck at home or begging family to dog sit! read more

Very unprofessional! I was told one thing on the phone and something completely different in person. When I visited for the first time, (I was told to bring my dog in to test him) he was whisked off and caged before I could even look at the facilities! The front desk staff treated me as though I was an inconvenience. What I wasn't told when I brought my dog in for daycare is that the dogs are locked in cages until 9am, again for lunch and after 3 or 4! I chose this facility so that I could watch him via webcam, but when I dropped him off and questioned the front desk, I was informed that only the dogs that had been there the longest are put into that particular room and that I wouldn't get to see him. He came home smelling terrible and was very thirsty. read more

For years, Pampered Pet, Bed & Biscuit did a great job for my service dog. But recently, every time I've had her groomed she came home smelling like wet dog and not a clean dog! This is a problem considering the price one has to pay for their grooming. The first time this happened I merely called and spoke to someone about the problem to make them aware, and continued to book appointments with full confidence that the mistake wouldn't be repeated. That was a mistake! Last week I called and made another grooming appointment for my dog, and I specifically mentioned the previous incident where she came home smelling like a wet dog instead of a clean dog, and they reassured me that they'd speak to the groomer who would be taking care of my dog and assured me she would come home smelling great. My assistant brought her to her appointment today and called me nearly an hour and a half past her appointment time to inform me that she had returned to the shop to pick up my dog, and they hadn't even begun to groom her yet! Needless to say, I was not happy! I called and spoke to the manager, Sherri, who was very polite and professional, and she notified me that the regular groomer had called off and they had a manager handling the grooming instead. I informed her that the professional thing to do would have been to contact their clients and explain the situation and allow us the opportunity to re-book the appointment if it was going to inconvenience us, which it did! I further let her know that this would set us back on every other appointment and task we had to do today, and she suggested that my assistant could go do something else and come back for the dog. The problem with that was my assistant had already run all the other errands on that end of town while they weren't grooming the dog, and picking up the dog was the last item on her list. Truth be told, as they had full knowledge that the groomer had called in, they should've informed my assistant of this when she dropped my dog off and offered an opportunity for us to decide whether we wanted to reschedule or not. Additionally, I live on the other side of town, and every other appointment and errand we had to do today were also on opposite ends of town, so, this would be even more of an inconvenience to do something else, then go back- not to mention being a time suck and a gas waster! Sherri offered to comp the grooming, which I appreciated, and I took the opportunity to re-explain that she didn't come home smelling good the last time and that even though they were trying to accommodate the time crunch we were in that I needed them to thoroughly dry my dog so that she didn't smell like wet dog! She guaranteed me that she would not. So, of course, when my assistant brought my dog home I immediately smelled a distinct wet dog odor, and I was in another room of the house! Both my assistant and I bent down and smelled the dog's back and she didn't have any scent of shampoo anywhere on her! It was unmistakeable wet dog odor! I placed another call to Pampered Pet, Bed & Biscuit and spoke with Sherri again. I explained the issue, and, again, she was professional and pleasant and apologized, but insisted that the dog smelled good before my assistant picked her up- as if we made her smell that way in the twenty minutes it took to drive her home! I'm through with this place, and I wish I'd listened to my older brother who told me he had nothing but one bad experience after another there. Live and learn! read more

I've been taking my rat terrier Angie her for 2 yrs, for half day daycare, she loves this place. I've even used it to board her when I go out of town. Loved the care the staff gave her. Today I dropped her off at 7:30am and picked her up at 2:15pm. The drop off and pick up time hasn't change. When I drop her off they always ask what time for pick up and I tell them 2:00pm. I'm a server at Bob Evens on Dupont Rd in Ft. Wayne so I can't always be exact on pick up time, depends on how busy lunch is. Today I go to pick her up and they tell $22.00 instead of the normal $13.75. The girl behind the desk said it was 2:30 which it wasn't she then went in the office to talk to the manager Robin. She came back and said Robin would be out and she will go get my dog. Robin comes out and said that half day is 6 hrs. I asked why for 2yrs they were only charging me for half days. She said sarcastically that she would change it today but to remember half days were 6hrs. I gave her the $22.00 plus the $10.00 nail trim and told her here is your money and I won't be back. The girl brings out Angie and said have a nice day I told I was until I got there and I won't be back. Robin never even tried to talk to me to see if she could do something to keep me as a customer. I just don't understand why after 2yrs they are making me pay for a full day. This would have been 45mins longer than the 6hrs. I came home so upset that they wanted to charge that much for 6hrs and 45mins I find this unacceptable. I just want everyone to know they aren't to be trusted. They want to rob you blind. Unprofessional, shady, and use baiting tactics to get you in the door. I bought a Groupon for a 3 day stay for my pup while I was camping. I called ahead and asked if it would work for a Thursday late morning-Sunday early afternoon stay, and they said yes, so I booked. When we showed up, however, they informed me that I would be getting charged $47.15 in ADDITION to the amount I had already paid for the Groupon. My parents had also booked with a Groupon, and had called ahead and asked if they could have two dogs in the same suite with the Groupon, and when they arrived, they found out they were not only going to be charged a fee in addition to the Groupon, they were also greeted with a huge charge for their second dog, despite being told the Groupon would cover two dogs when they called. The lady at the front desk was not the nicest, she argued, she pressured, and she talked over us trying to talk to each other and to ask her. Never again will I even think about bringing my dog here; they treat humans this way, I can only IMAGINE how they treat the animals! Oh, and when I informed them that we would be taking our dogs elsewhere, the lady at the desk suddenly had a "cheaper" way to for my parents' dogs to stay (two large dogs - they would've been miserable!) by putting them together in one of their smaller, standard suites instead of the deluxe suite they'd paid for. When I told her we weren't interested and would be reporting the business to the BBB for their shady business tactics, the lady scoffed and snottily replied "Okay." I made sure to take any and all of the paperwork that had our names on them, written or printed, so we could have proof of their unprofessionalism. Ridiculous. read more

I take my labradoodle here for day play and he just loves it! Each time we pull up to the parking lot he is eager to get inside and start playing. He always comes home sleepy, but in a great mood! It is a bit pricier than other places I have gone, and if they decided to knock the price down a few bucks, I wouldn't complain! read more

I called pampered pets about boarding my dog for Saturday night. They told me $21 dollars a nite and said to drop him off before 4:45. I couldn't pick him up until 5:00 on sunday though. I picked him up at 5, and was charged for two nights! That is their policy! It is deceptive at best. I will continue my effort to get my money back and tell anyone interested what a crooked business they run. BBB here I come. Never again will I use such a sneaky underhanded business such as theirs. read more

Thought we had found a great place, according to the write up...However, when we brought Maggie Friday night around 5 she was put in her deluxe suite and went out at 7 pm. for the last time that evening. I had my doggy cam on her and she was in the door the whole evening..No one ever came, we were told they read a story and give 'them lovin' at the end of the night. NOTHING like that happened. When my husband picked her up, Saturday am, we could tell how stressed she was, her front legs and whole neckline looked like she had gone swimming,but it was her panting and drooling and not knowing what was going on. We were told so much from the lady up at the front desk and from what I could see nothing like that happened. Just very disappointed and will not be bringing her back. read more
