Wayne since moving here 3 years ago and to almost every dog grooming place here, and this was the first one that did such an AMAZING job! -Christy (Kristi) was the remarkable woman who cared for him. -The entire staff was friendly and professional, and my furbaby was treated exceptionally well! -I highly recommend this place! We will be going back before we left. My dogs were neglected in their care. My one dog didn't get fed two meals in his two day stay and he gets fed twice a day. My other dog didn't get his daily tooth brushing treat that should have been on the paper that is highlighted but his meds are on there and he only got them the first day! They didn't give them their toys either. One of the toys has a rawhide ring on it and it wasn't touched. On the ride home he got the ring off in the first 5 mins in the car! I prepared all the food for both dogs in bags so all they had to do is dump it in their bowls. I did provide pumpkin for my little guy this time and it was twice as much pumpkin than he needed. They didn't give me my container back or the extra pumpkin. His name and the amount he needed was on the container. There are a lot more issues but I don't have the time to type them all out. The owner has been made aware of the issues and has not responded to my email about how she can make this right. I asked that they start giving a military discount in honor of my boys. Maybe $5 a stay would be great to remember how badly they were treated so they don't do that to another poor dog. I will never trust them with my boys again! To your response. Your staff knew that we are a military family and said that you don't have a military discount! Because I asked! The reason the boys were there were for all military reasons! I gave you days to reply to my second message about how you could make things right and you never did! The first email I sent you never responded to! The reply to your email I waited from the 29th to the 3rd when I sent another message. More proof you can't be trusted. read more

This groomer shaved my doodle bald without calling me to discuss option first. When I reached out to complain she was rude and unprofessional. Blamed me for the situation and posted the following on her personal Facebook page about me. Her name is Misty Stephens and she is completely rude and unprofessional. I would have been happy with an apology and a credit towards my next visit but she chose to berate me on social media. Here are her words on her post: Doodles. MATTED DOODLES. THIS BREED is NOT a hypo-allergenic, groom free, maintenance free coat breed and your occasional brushing doesn't equate to a professional grooming!!! You CAN get mad as hell, sad and crying (as if your dog DIED, but is only just nakey - it WILL grow back), and play the blame game with your groomer for shaving away their matts (btw: the ONLY solution that is SAFE). OR YOU could be GRATEFUL the groomer was able to preserve the health and well-being of your pet by providing a compassionate groom to make them comfortable again. No, it ain't pretty. There could even be sores hiding out in there that are only seen once the PELT is removed. Gasp, did you know, having to shave so close to the skin can CAUSE sores too? AND You SHOULD follow their PROFESSIONAL advice about your dog's grooming needs and consistent schedule to prevent future matting. Cause, you know, doing the same thing over and over = the SAME consequences and outcomes. Good or bad. Look it up Maybe I'm just a little sensitive right now, but I'm (and your groomer is) your dog's advocate for living their very BEST life. If you're allowing your pets to become matted to the point of the need to shear your dog like a sheep, it's NOT THE GROOMER you should be mad at. Go to a mirror, look in it. THERE is the guilty party. YOU. Turn that pointer right back to your own face. YOU. ‍ AND, if you've had to have your dog shaved down AGAIN, and are heartbroken because it happened AGAIN, did you follow the instructions given to you by your professional groomer??? Let me take a wild guess...NO. To be very CLEAR: Matted dogs break my heart. Nakey dogs make me sad. Uneducated owners make me mad (because they don't listen or worse, DOUBT your professional advice). NOT properly caring for your non-shedding dog's coat (whatever breed) is considered, at the very least NEGLIGENCE, and in some extreme cases, ABUSE (ever seen puppy mills with horribly matted dogs??? ). Yes, I know this current pandemic will force some owners to neglect their pet's coats because these silly ass reps don't consider it "essential services" in some areas. Ridiculous!!! But whatever, that debate is another topic all together. And it's not these people I'm referring to. The blame game is over, and when you bring that matted dog to my facility, you will receive an education on coat care at home, along with instructions on maintaining consistent PROFESSIONAL grooming schedules. If you don't WANT to heed the lesson, that is YOUR choice. BUT, if you think I'm going to take the blame, hear your complaints and accusations, or feel ANY compassion for YOU (actually, I feel bad for your DOG), then you are SORELY mistaken. I don't HAVE to service you, and THAT is MY CHOICE. It will be the ONLY choice from here on out. I take my dog there twice a week for day play. The place is great and the staff are even greater. I like how they put dogs into play groups based on size and play style. Frankie being a big dog that likes to rough house has a perfect pack to do that with. He's always super excited going there, and goes home and conks out. This is a premium facility and I never have to worry about my dogs staying here. We have used them for both boarding and grooming and they always do a great job. Staff is friendly, the owner is awesome and very involved with the day to day activity. I love that they make you feel like family! It's hard to find a nice clean facility I fully trust and feel 100% comfortable leaving my animals and this is it. Highly recommend! read more

Poor Quality, Unprofessional Staff. I would not send my pet there. Staff is Rude. Grooming was poor. Caused injury to my dog. Fail to have pet ready when promised. Conditions of facility was poor. I have a Chihuahua and it's very important that he stay socialized with other dogs so it was important that I find a great place for him to hang out and make new friends. I love this place! When I called to set up an appointment they asked questions about Taz and explained what he would be doing during the day. I warned them that he could convince them he needed to be held all day but preferred him to play. When I dropped him off he was so excited to go in. When I picked him up I could tell he had a great time. I even received a "report card" on his day. He fell asleep on the short ride home so I know he played a lot. I've already set up for him to go back next week for Cinco de Mayo Day where they have some fun activities planned. read more

We had our dogs there for an overnight stay. The boarding staff took good care of them. If you decide to use them make sure you understand the pricing. They want a 50 dollar deposit for the first time. (for two dogs) It would be twenty five for a single dog. During the holidays a surcharge is applied 15 per pet. The offer lots of different options. They have personal play, socializing with others dogs, and grooming. Paws-N-Claws offer in home pet sitting and pet taxi services. They also offer package deals for long time boarding. read more

They are the best in FW! I have tried MULTIPLE groomers that included people not brushing my dog after the bath, missing a whole leg of nails not cut, and not doing all that they say is included. Paws & claws was honest, helpful, friendly, and did all that I wanted and more! Our dog (Maddie) looks great and you can tell that she enjoyed it there. I am very grateful to have finally found a good groomer for my dog to continuously go to!!! Thanks for the great service and I hope everyone is willing to give them a shot. I was in Ft. Wayne for business, traveling with my dog. I have never left her with a place like this and I was super impressed. They were professional and very caring. My dog, Pickles, is not good at separation or being alone. But, the staff here kept her occupied and she came back to me very happy. I can't thank the staff here enough. I would not hesitate to bring her here if I were in town again, and I would definitely bring her here if I lived here. Excellent. read more

Weekend Boarders Beware! Their billing system is a scam. We dropped our pups off on a Saturday for one night of boarding. Paws-n-Claws charged us for two nights of boarding! When I questioned it, the caretaker said you have to pick up your pets by 10am to not be charged a second night. However, they are not open until 4pm on Sunday. They knew we were first time boarders and never said a thing until it was time to pay up. I attempted to contact the manager via email and never received a response. read more

They fostered our dog before we got her, and they took great care of ALL the animals in their care!!

Called on the phone and set up boarding for our dog. The next day plans changed and had to cancel. I get charged 50 dollars on my credit card for this. Never was I informed of this sneaky fee, this really ticks me off. Stay clear of these crooks. read more

We have used Paws N Claws multiple times in the last few years, and always had great experiences. Our dog is always excited to be dropped off; they know his temperament and pair him with dogs who play the way he does. They're very friendly, and know our dog by name. He seems to get plenty of play time and is always worn out. read more
