I took my 9-lb morkie here a couple of months ago for the 1st time (he was a little under 3 1/2 years old), when I made the appointment I had to put a $20 down-payment for the appointment (no big deal), I asked the lady on the phone how much the grooming would cost, she told me that it could be as low as $65, but it depended on how the dog behaved. I took my chance and took him there. They did a great job on him, but it cost me $85 before tip. He was always great for his previous groomer but I was told that he tried to bite the groomer (which I clearly was not happy with my dog when I heard that). So after a vet visit (routine stuff) I mentioned something to them about the groomer visit, they suggested a calming medication for him so that he would be calm and relaxed when I took him to the groomer, after thinking about it I decided to try it. I gave him the medication as prescribed before I brought him here for his 2nd appointment. He was super chill when I took him in, I thought this appointment should cost me closer to the $65 mark, yeah no. When I dropped him off the lady couldn't find his appointment, then she grabbed a card out of the stack she had and said here he is, would you like me to give him the same service as last time with the same cut, I said yes. I get a call that he's ready to go, I pick him up and he's shaved, not completely bald but basically no hair. My morkie looked like a chihuahua and they chopped his tail hair off too (which is 1 of my favorite things about him). I was speechless when I picked him up. I asked how he was and they said how good he was, then I was told that'll be $85 (again before tip). I just want to know 1 thing, how does a 9-lb dog cost $85 to get groomed when I paid the same amount with a tip for a 75-lb dog to get groomed (at a different establishment in the past). After the 2nd and last appointment I had with this store, I will never bring my dog back there again. While I was making the appointment I was informed about a price $50 for small dogs and up to $90 depending on the dog size. Mine is mini Maltipoo and they charged $90 !!! When I said price that was provided to me via the phone was $50 they reply that its not possible and they can prove it because they have It on camera. I have been taking my pets here for several years. I have always had the most exceptional service, from the most exceptional staff. As we all know our pets communicate with their actions. Each of 5 pets are shiny new happy and calm and clearly comfortable with all staff that have interaction with them. This sort of work is nothing short then a labor of love. I absolutely adore Sandy the owner, and her great staff. Cards are kept for my pets about the service they are provided. I love this, if I forget a service to ask for a service like my pets to have, I am asked about it. For instance do you want an oatmeal bath or teeth brushed. $190 FOR MY DOG TO BE LOCKED IN A CAGE FOR 5 HOURS!!!! If I could put ZERO stars I would . First of all I have been coming here for 2-3 years now they always cut my golden retrievers for cheap and the best cuts. I recently had gotten a golden doodle he has been here twice and he is 8months old . YESTERDAY WAS THE LAST TIME ANY OF MY ANIMALS WILL BE VISITING THIS PLACE. My poor dog was lock in the cage from 11AM UNTIL 4PM . 5 whole hours . No one contacted me saying "oh we are running behind can you bring him back in a few hours" or "can we please reschedule" I had no idea until I called them around 4:30 asking what was going on they said he'd be done at 5 . Completely ruining my family's whole schedule I was late for work and everything because of this. He was not done until 5:20 and I was charged 190 for his 20minute rushed hair cut . Then on top of all of this they called my grandfather even after verifying the number they should call. And left him a message saying they released my dog because he was anxious and snipping at them and if we don't like his hair cut they'll fix it for free. My puppy has never been aggressive and is crate trained so this makes me wonder what they did to him while he was locked up for 5 hours for him to be that upset and they can't "fix him" because they cut him WAY to short I even showed a reference picture and they didn't even do anything close to it. I had been taking my 2 dogs here for a few years and was very happy, until August 2021. My girl looked horrible, uneven, tufts of long fur by her haunches, so i took her back the following month requesting a different groomer. She looked just as bad. I also got tired of bringing them in for a scheduled appointment only to have them stuck there in a cage for 4-5 hours. Wonderful place of business ! It's one thing, when a nervous dog mom takes her 1year old mini sheepadoodle in for his first major haircut and not only were they all great with the dog but also with mom ! Lol ! They really were so kind and answered all my questions and explained a lot to me and I really appreciated it. My handsome boy looks like he found his groomer. Well, now, their so great, they took on our Maincoon cat . Now, over his 8 years, he's had few lion cuts. I'm sure it ain't easy shaving a cat in-fact it's got to be a nightmare ! They did it! When they called I asked how he did, expecting to hear he did ok but grumpy at the end ( because that's what I usually hear) The young lady on the phone in a very kind voice said he was tough . My heart sunk, i though the worse I couldn't hear anything after that. All I thought was her voice is so pleasant and she's so professional! Lucky for us we stumbled across Pampered Pets. They were very kind and welcoming. My mom showed them a picture of a specific hair cut she wanted them to do and they did a great job mimicking it. I am a crazy dog mom. It's just who I am. So naturally I am extremely picky who gets to tend to my puppy daughter. Kirby spent the afternoon at Pampered Pets getting groomed and deshedded. She looks fabulous!!! She's so buttery soft and smells SO GOOD. She looks like perfect. Sandy was so incredible with my Kirby. This is my favorite pet grooming salon in the country! We have lived in Ohio, Alaska, Alabama, Texas, and New York and this is STILL our favorite place to take our dog!!! Took my german shepard there. The staff are nice however they dont have experience dealing with large dogs. If it was about people being nice i would have given them a 5 star rating. However they were unable to groom my dog because they were afraid of his size. They lied to me and told me he was biting however when i went there i didnt see any sign of aggression. When i came to take my dog i offered to go in and see for my self and the brought me a muzzle, even though i groomed him in many other places and iv never seen anyone use a muzzle on him they then told that the bathtub is occupied and they don't want to service us, any reputable organization would at least pretend to try. If im you i will not take my dog there, large or small. These guys have no experience with dogs, maybe they like dogs and think dogs are cute. These place is a no go. By the way, they claim to have satisfied customers. Iv groomed my dog in other places and iv never had such and experience and as you can see the mention my dogs name. I recently returned to the Parma area after retiring from out of state. When I lived here before I took my dog to Pampered Pets for a full spa grooming every month, always leaving a 20 % tip, and generally satisfied with their services. This time I made an appointment for 1 pm full spa treatment and grooming and arrived there on time. I showed the young man (never saw him before) at the counter a photo of how my dog was groomed in CA and requested the same "puppy cut". He nodded and stated "we can do that". At 4.15 pm I received a call from a female stating she was unsure of what a puppy cut was. I tried to explain the best I could. She stated she understood. At 5.45 pm with no word from the groomers I called to ask what time I might expect to pick her up. The owner told me there were way behind and they were working on her now. I called back at 6.15 pm very concerned something was wrong. The owner informed me I could pick her up at 6.30 pm as she should be ready by then. She was ready at 6.40 pm. She looked terrible. I cannot even begin to describe the mess they made with her. I was do disappointed. The owner popped her head from around the back entrance to the grooming station to quickly "apologize" for the "back up" and delay. She never provided me with her rationale for the delay. She returned to the back room. I have often wondered if something happened to my pet and if she was crated for the majority of the hours she was at the shop. Never the less, the shop owners behavior was unprofessional, the cut was atrocious, and the prices outrageous for the services performed. read more

She understood that I had a very specific cut in mind and spent a very long time making sure it was perfect. The attention to detail and just overall experience was great!
