The best place to take care of your pets. The Webcam and brain games are excellent. My little girl gets so excited to come here that when we pass by the place everyday she lets out a howl and wags her tail for excitement. Thank toy again to the staff for taking the best care of my baby girl.

Gracie had a fun week at Camp Wagging Tails

Gracie had a great time at Camp Wagging Tails. She came out to greet us prancing and looking happy....a sure sign that she had fun at camp this past week. everyone is so nice and attentive. With Gracie's advanced age (18 years old) we worry when we have to leave her. it's nice to know that the staff at Camp Wagging Tails will do everything necessary for her to be comfortable. She loves going there and has been going for the last 13 years. Thank you everyone at CWT for taking such good care of our sweet Gracie

DO NOT BOARD AT LUCKY DOG! The dogs are most definitely not lucky when they're here…read more Our two dogs have come home covered in pee multiple times. When we dug further into it we found out they were NOT caring for our dogs. They have only 2 handlers for upwards of 100 dogs. One of our dogs came home with a huge gash on his face and they didn't catch it, or report it to us. They come home anxious every boarding visit. When we dug further we found out that one of our dogs was so anxious she was chewing on a cot (she doesn't chew things at home, or any other boarding place we've ever used.) Instead of telling us, they just made a note in their system that she doesn't get a cot... We asked them to kennel together and so both of our dogs were sleeping on cold hard tile floor for their entire stays, sometimes as long as a week or two when we've taken longer trips. Instead of taking any responsibility for any of this they blamed our dogs. Their manager confirmed to me they don't require handlers have ANY certifications or qualifications. I asked for a GM or assistant GM to get in touch with me about whether they even do background checks and they are ignoring us. Lucky Dog used to be great when they were family owned. Roughly around 2022 they were bought out by a corporation called Village Pet and it's clear they are trying to suck as much profit out of the business while they can. They've raised their rates and cut down on the staff. In NC handlers can only have 10 dogs out per handler so your pets are NOT getting as much attention or outside time as they should be. This place is the worst. We have 4 friends that also used Lucky Dog and after hearing what was happening they're also finding another boarding place. We'll be telling anyone who will listen to ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE.

Whenever petsmart is full we make the trek to Huntersville to board our 2 dogs. This last visit was a total nightmare. Our French Bulldog went in feeling happy with no marks or injuries, however he came out with a bloody face , When I picked him up he was having a panic attack and when he got home he vomited all evening into the next day. By day 3 he still has not been himself. I positivey 100 percent know my dog went in there with ZERO injuries. He has a pretty significant mark on his face as you can tell by the photos. I am not a person to complain, about anything but this upset me so much.My dog will be scared for life. I inquired about this and was told, "nothing happened" They said, "Per your request we let him play with your older dog, Teddy and no other dogs. I said Teddy had to be kept separate, not Simba the French bulldog and all I know is I came out of there with an injured, bloody dog and I know for a fact he didnot go int like that. The manager was rude and told me it didn't happen there. Sorry but it did. I also asked for a treat for my 13 year old Corgi to lure him into the car and the girl behind the counter said, "we can't give him a treat, as that will take away from other dogs. Really? I just spent over $300,00 and you are telling me you can't give me a little treat to help me get my elderly dog in the car? wOW I said I will pay for the treat, do you want 25 cents for it, or a dollar perhaps. She said, "no it will still take away from another dog" wow, mind boggling. Don't they have a little box of treats back there, was she for real? Finally I got one for the manager (the same guy that told me absolutely nothing happened to my dog) which is a total lie and I wish I could get my hands on some video.I told him I just wanted to know what happened and he was in total denial. When I picked the dogs up they were traumatized and when I asked how they did their response was, "fine? Never, ever again do I take my dogs here or anywhere for that matter as it left a terrible taste in my mouth. I will hire a dog sitter to come to my home in the future. I haVe no reason to slam Happy Paws, I am not a cruel human being but this is the truth of what happened. Don't bring your dog to this establishment, NOT SAFE! Seriously my dog was traumatized all the way home and for the next 3 days, bleeding, I am so upset.

I appreciate that they offer later hours on weeknights, and they ALWAYS fit us in, even if it's close to closing time. That's usually when our dog seems to have issues, too, when our usual vet is already closed. No matter who we have seen--or at what time--we have received exceptional care at NMAH. So far, we've seen Dr. David James, Dr. Paul Kritzinger, Dr. Schaff (now retired), Dr. Kimberly Renehan, Dr. Rachel Spickler, Dr. Katie Blackard, and Dr. Anna Shaffer. The doctors are extremely thorough, and we always leave feeling like JoJo has been well cared for. They are also great about emailing us visit summaries and aftercare instructions, and they share details of our visits with our usual vet to ensure communication of her treatment plans. Even NMAH's technicians and front desk staff are wonderful. Everyone is just so warm and compassionate, and they understand the urgency of our situations. We highly recommend NMAH!

I have been to 3 so far; the first two were nice, but didnt particularly stand out. Fortunately, Dr Holland did at North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital. I have brought in 2 of my cats so far, and each time Dr Holland has been great with them, and has researched info on medications and options with specialists both for my cats with FIP and with eye issues; both visits, he was understanding about pricing concerns and gave options that I felt were fair and helpful, including thorough emails with additional info and follow up. The office is impeccably clean and the staff very kind. I have passed his info on to the rest of the family, and finally feel that we've found our new vet.

Our experience wasn't stellar, although I'm sure this service works well for some. First of all,…read morethe owners customer service is good, and she clearly cares about dogs and her business. It just didn't work for us. And I've learned that my experience is rarely unique so if this helps someone who has similar situation here we go: We have a puppy that has some people fear, she's a rescue. She does ok if strangers don't reach for her head and they allow her to approach them first. Otherwise she'll growl and back away. (We met her sister when they were almost a year old and the sister was much worse. We have had our dog in training and she's improved drastically). Anyway, this service was going to come take our dog for walks. Robin was not available, although she came over to meet and assess first before approving us as clients, and so she had a younger girl that was working for her come over. This girl seem like she loves dogs and she did not seem uncomfortable with our pups anxiety so we allowed her to take the dog for a walk one morning, and we would be out when she returned but she was to let us know how it went. We didn't hear anything back until we sent repeated texts that day then heard from the owner that "something happened" and it didn't go well, But she knew nothing else. We were really worried since this was one of the first times a virtual stranger walked our dog for us. The girl didn't got back to us nor did the owner until the next day! I finally tracked the girl down and she said she was uncomfortable walking our pup- it didn't go well because she growled at someone and pull on the leash on the walk. well I was really relieved it wasn't something worse, but fully annoyed that she gave us zero feedback and let us just wonder and then seem to be really flaky. I can handle my dog although it's my first because the trainer explained to me how you teach a dog to walk on a leash and what to do when the dog growls or try to chase a squirrel. To me these are kind of basic dog things but this girl was unsettled. She told us she could not walk our dog anymore because she lunged on the leash etc. I am very inexperienced and I'm able toWalk my dog. Or if a problem arises I can predict/solve it with my very little training. This girl decided that the dog would be without behavior issues if we let her have free roam of the house. That is the opposite of what our trainers who have been doing it for 25 years and other friends with dogs have saidOur puppy does well in predictable routine's and experiences. She has a large penned area in the kitchen when we are not homeand she's allowed to freely roam the large kitchen and the backyard. But she's a puppy and has accidents and chews so we're certainly not going to let her roam the house on her own. I pursued this line of thinking but I didn't get any satisfying answers. My overall experience is that this service is quite amateur although loving. So might be right fit for the right owners and the right dog. Incidentally, with a little more searching we found the right puppy play groups and walkers for our very good but fearful pup.
