Love these guys. They are so great with the 2 dogs. I like the little dog condo with dog height windows.

So far, we've had 3 Goldens, who all enjoyed their "vacations" here during our out-of-town visits. I will admit, there was some reluctant paw skidding, but all dogs obliged. One of our dogs would always happily trot in and leap up onto the check-in desk to say "hello" to the receptionist. Well, mostly to use her cuteness to score a doggie biscuit... DiDió's facilities feature 100 *fantabulous* kennel suites -- which all have an doorway leading outdoors (a "run") to a covered patio. It's perfect for dogs who like to dash between going "in" or "out". Their grounds are truly breathtaking with lush greenery, expansive lawns, and large courtyards for puppy-playtime! Bob, who owns the place, is an extremely warm and friendly person. If you glance up at the walls, you'll notice a bunch of photos and awards up there. If you talk to Bob, you'll find out his rich background in the dog world (he's a retired dog handler!). As well as boarding, DiDió also offers awesome grooming services, which a lady named Susan does beautifully. Each time one of our Goldens comes in to get their hair and nails did, they return smelling of sweet shampoo and adorned with an adorable bandana around their neck (they've even do seasonal themes!). DiDió truly stole my heart when they catered to our late-Golden (RIP), who was terribly frightened by thunderstorms. All and all, this jewel of a boarding facility is off the beaten path, but I promise your furry friend will leave wagging their tail! PS: They also board cats and birds!

I looked at the owner's website www.camp-ruff.com which describes their facility as a "lux camp" for dogs and puppies. I was intrigued and called for an appt to view the property and see the operations. I was met by the Camp Director/Owner, a delightful, sincere woman named Lucinda. She greeted me and my dog and proceeded to show me the camp home, which is divided into sections based on the needs and behaviors of the various dogs she was boarding. She listened to my description of my dogs needs, habits and observed her to judge how she would behave w other dogs. One by one she let a dog out from the house, where they have their "sleep over", cautiously to see what my dog would do. As the animals were about my dog's size everyone seemed to accept each other. Great news! Lucinda decided to take the next step by taking my dog w the small pack for some exercise on the trail in the woods behind the house. The dogs were running around having a great time which relieved my anxiety that my dog might not like to be off leash but she was running and getting some great exercise and learning to enjoy the pack mentality. No fighting or misbehaving, perfect! Lucinda works tirelessly to pamper the pooches morning and night. Morning feedings, evening feedings, medications and always careful observations of the pets. They all sleep like happy babies when the day ends in a real home environment. Prices are in line and reasonable I think for an overnight stay of $44 including feeding, walking, playtime and careful observation by someone who is highly qualified and very knowledgeable of pet behavior. All animals come in contact w other pets only when owner has documentation for boarding such as rabies vaccination, bordetello. This place is a well thought out and safe place to leave your precious pet while you are away. So relax, they got your back!

First off, let me start by saying I had to post this on here instead of Google reviews because my…read morereview was deleted within four hours of being posted by this location. I had high hopes for Pet Paradise Day Camp after recently moving and needing a new place for my dog, who has been going to daycare consistently for the past six months with zero issues. He's incredibly friendly with other dogs and thrives in a social play environment. Unfortunately, our experience here has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The first time I brought him in, I had to call and remind the staff to actually put him out with the other dogs -- something I paid for and was clearly supposed to be part of the day camp experience. That alone was concerning, but I decided to give them a second chance, thinking maybe it was just a fluke. The second visit was even worse. I arrived to pick him up early only to find out he had been kept in a kennel from 8 AM to 2 PM without ever being let out to play. Six hours locked up with no socialization -- this is not what day camp is supposed to be. We pay for our dogs to be active, engaged, and around other pups, not crated all day. This kind of negligence is unacceptable. It's a complete waste of money and a huge disservice to pet owners who expect quality care. I do not recommend Pet Paradise Day Camp to anyone who values their pet's well-being. There are far better options out there that truly understand what dog daycare is supposed to be.

I appreciate that they offer later hours on weeknights, and they ALWAYS fit us in, even if it's close to closing time. That's usually when our dog seems to have issues, too, when our usual vet is already closed. No matter who we have seen--or at what time--we have received exceptional care at NMAH. So far, we've seen Dr. David James, Dr. Paul Kritzinger, Dr. Schaff (now retired), Dr. Kimberly Renehan, Dr. Rachel Spickler, Dr. Katie Blackard, and Dr. Anna Shaffer. The doctors are extremely thorough, and we always leave feeling like JoJo has been well cared for. They are also great about emailing us visit summaries and aftercare instructions, and they share details of our visits with our usual vet to ensure communication of her treatment plans. Even NMAH's technicians and front desk staff are wonderful. Everyone is just so warm and compassionate, and they understand the urgency of our situations. We highly recommend NMAH!

I have been to 3 so far; the first two were nice, but didnt particularly stand out. Fortunately, Dr Holland did at North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital. I have brought in 2 of my cats so far, and each time Dr Holland has been great with them, and has researched info on medications and options with specialists both for my cats with FIP and with eye issues; both visits, he was understanding about pricing concerns and gave options that I felt were fair and helpful, including thorough emails with additional info and follow up. The office is impeccably clean and the staff very kind. I have passed his info on to the rest of the family, and finally feel that we've found our new vet.

My appointment was confirmed 48 hours in advance, but less than 24 hours later, Tara, the practice manager, told me I was unfit for their practice and that no refund would be given. She said this was because of a previous review I wrote, not anything related to my pet's care. I was denied most of the services I paid for, including doctor visits and nail trims. I've escalated this to corporate and the veterinary board. Potential clients should know prepaid plans here may be canceled at the practice's discretion.

That vet is no longer there. I scheduled her for a teeth cleaning in February. I was called and told my dogs heart rate had dropped to about 10 and she was now in oxygen. They told me she would have to go to the ER vet in Huntersville where she could get extensive care. Apon picking her up she was comatose and they brought her to me wrapped in a blanket. I knew she would not survive the drive to Huntersville and after pleading for them to do something the vet that was supposed to do her cleaning said he would take her with an assistant holding portable oxygen. When I arrived the ER vet attending to her gave her very little chance of survival and was told I could put her to sleep that day. I refused, 4 days and 4 nights, 5000 dollars later she recovered. That is not all. A few days before she was scheduled for her cleaning, they sent me an email stating she was scheduled for euthanasia. Although I was alarmed I brought it to their attention thinking it was an awful mistake. I am beyond upset that this happened and just don't want it to happen to anyone else's animal.
