I went to this business recently for a "working interview" (posted for below minimum wage) and I would advise others to not apply here. The manager barely spoke to me and left me alone with the dogs within the first hour to go smoke. I was told I'd be there for five hours because another employee called out. This is NOT a working interview, this is free labor. The manager did not like that I pointed this out and talked rudely about me to her coworker as I was leaving. The dogs seemed fine but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable knowing my dog was left with a random person the manager met an hour before. It was all really unprofessional and made it clear this company doesn't value its employees. read more

If you plan on bringing your pet here, you better start trying to get it set up at least a couple of months ahead of time, and if you're from out of town and hoping to have a place for your fur baby to go sometimes, forget it! I called earlier and left a message, but didn't get a call back; but since this place is pretty close to where we'll be staying, we thought we'd stop by and get the info. This is the first daycare my mini labradoodle had ever been to. I was worried but knew it was the right thing for him. He was pretty quiet the first day. By the third day he acted like he ran the place. They were so nice to him and he loves going there. It is clean and safe, the most important qualities. He has so much fun and loves it there. Pampered Pets ended up not being the best fit for our dog as they are kept together in a large group for most of the day. Even despite this, I commend their staff on their care for the animals. Also, it was obvious that the space is extremely well maintained. We booked an assessment before kenneling our dog there and it was clear that the group setting wasn't going to work for our dog with separation anxiety. (She gets a bit touchy with other dogs when we're not there - something we didn't know before.)  However, the meeting was incredibly informative in making sure that our dog's needs are met in terms of socialization (or in our case - lack there of!) with other animals while we are away. I really admired the staffs' care for the safety and well-being of the animals that they have chosen to board.  While Mia wasn't the best candidate for a spot in the kennel, we walked away from the meeting knowing a bit more about what works best for our dog as well as some information on other options. If your dog is well socialized and likes the company of other canines, you really can't go wrong with this place. read more

I called and spoke with Bridgette at Pampered Pets about mid to end of Feb. to board my family's two small dogs for a little over a week from 4/2 to 4/9. We just picked them up about 2 hours ago and am now at the emergency vet in Everett.. The facility is beautiful and clean. Looks great, HOWEVER, one of our dogs had been coughing evidently for two days and is sneezing and having some breathing distress, yet we weren't even contacted about it until today while we were in a flight back home. I'm also real curious if they "sent two other dogs, bigger dogs, home" who too were coughing as Bridgette told me why didn't she call us earlier to discuss taking our dog to a vet? Cute place, they have a nice facility and are great playing with the dogs but I found this situation really negligent and cannot recommend this place due to safety concerns. read more

We take our dogs on Mondays for daycare and for occasional boarding. Our dog overplayed his first time and was sore, so they started enforcing breaks for him the next time. He had separation anxiety on his first boarding, so they used enticements and pill pockets for his meds on his next boarding. Basically, we've found them attentive & responsive to any concerns. Everyone I have spoke with on the phone and in person has been so nice, and helpful answering all my questions! My puppy loves it there! Love this place. We've boarded our corgi here probably 5 or so times over the last 2 years (anywhere from 2 nights to a week at a time) and we've always been really happy. It's VERY clean for how many dogs they have at a time, and the setup is nice. The pricing is reasonable and I love that they post pictures and videos on their Facebook and Instagram so you can see what a great time everyone is having. Would definitely recommend. read more

They don't like puppies so if you have one don't take it here! If your dog has energy and wants to play they don't like that so don't bring your dog here!! Also if you need more than 1 day a week they can't accommodate and are unreliable from week to week. Would not recommend to anyone. Poor communication that created two wasted trips there. While I was standing outside waiting for entry, I heard a female staff member in the large dog area cussing from across the parking lot. Her favorite phrase was F&$@ it. Swearing isn't a huge deal except her demeanor when acting so unprofessionally came off as if she hates her job. She said it about 7 times in five minutes and was sighing as she gave the dogs orders. That is a red flag to me when staff seem as if they are over their job. Needless to say, we will go elsewhere. The vibes of staff were rude, except for the woman with black hair, pulled back and nice makeup. Other than her, the staff seem angry. We travel a lot and they lost great business with their attitudes. read more

Please find somewhere else to take your beloved pet. We did boarding and have had her for drop off Doggy daycare. Both times she came home with kennel cough. My dog is current on all shots. The last time we had here boarding while out of state and we went to pick her up and it was like oh did you tell her. Oh no I forgot your dog contacted kennel cough. Let say I got no call while I was gone and I don't think we were going to be told. Our dog was very sick she had to take 2 rounds of medication and a couple trips to the vet. I have messaged them a couple times and I just get ignored. One other thing she had bite marks all around her neck from to ruff of playing. The vet said no one should allow dogs to bite other dogs to that point. She had open sores. read more

My husband and I took our 17 year old blind and deaf poodle to Pampered Pets to get him groomed. Because the dog had nipped the groomer at the place we had taken him to for years, they thought it was best he not go back there. We were disappointed and concerned we wouldn't be able to find anyone else. I called Pampered Pets and had the opportunity to speak to Kathy about the problem we had at our previous groomer. I was afraid she would say no about grooming him, that he would be too much trouble. But she didn't! She said she would give the him a try. We took him in today. We were having the windows replaced in our house but normally leave our dog at home during the day, so we found ourselves in need of a daycare to watch our 2 year old black lab for the 3 day project. Pampered Pets just so happened to be right down the street from us and after reading a few reviews and checking out the website, we figured that it would be worth a shot. We were pleasantly surprised with how much space the dogs are given, how clean the facilities are, and how much personal attention is given to the dogs throughout the day. We didn't make a reservation and showed up the first morning without any issues. Lorri was even kind enough to call our vet to confirm vaccination because I only had his rabies certificate. The first day was FREE, which was awesome because we honestly weren't sure how our pup would adjust to being away from us. We decided to take him back for day 2 and 3 and couldn't have been happier with the service everyone provided. They gave us a few recommendations and we've decided that we'll bring him back a couple of times a month for some socialization away from Mom and Dad ;) Thanks to everyone who took such great care of Oakley, we've found a daycare/kennel that we're excited to take him to when needed. Our Chihuahua & Japanese Chin love coming to the resort! The facility is very clean and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Our 2 "Littles" seem to get excited every-time we arrive and usually come home exhausted and happy. To me this means they had a great time, got lots of exercise and plenty of loving. This place is horrible and the owner and workers contradict themselves. We stopped in to hear about their services and once the worker behind the desk heard us say we have a Staffordshire Terrier she said No! The owner refuses these dogs and it's based on the public concern and worry about their business. The worker (older lady) went on to share she's had daycare/services for dogs before and has cared for this breed and she's knows their wonderful but we have to listen to what the public wants. She went on to say that the owner and her have extensive background in caring for dogs and managing behavior... Well if that's the case why do they blame the breed and not the deed of the owners who treat their dogs poorly. Just because people in society have taught their Pit Bulls to fight doesn't mean they are all bad dogs. I was disgusted by the workers explanation and her contradicting herself about how she's experienced with managing these breeds yet wouldn't take the breed and accept a customer who was willing to pay a lot for daycare 5 days a week! I explained to her that I would hope they would first opt to meet the dog before making judgements. The worker took my number for the owner to call me and she never called. Go figure! Interestingly enough as we left the owners dogs were in the dog run/kennel and they were fighting each other. Do these owners and workers know that Catholic Nuns in the 1800's used this breed to cuddle and nurture babies in orphanages? Do your homework. They are not all bad dogs! This place is a joke! It's their job to teach the public and its customers that it's not the breed it's the deed! Any dog can be aggressive and if the owners and workers of this place are so naive then I say stay away Citizens of Marysville.... I have started to spread the word among anyone I come across. Especially all my UW Medicine Colleagues. This place has started a business on the wrong foot. Remember it's always about word of mouth and recommendations! Your already off to a bad start! We've been taking our Tibetan Terrier to PP for a couple of weeks now. She has a great time! Since the weather has gotten warmer, the staff puts out several kiddy pools, and the dogs have the option of splashing, running around the yard, or resting on beds in the shade. I called this business to inquire about their dog day care for my Westie. I was placed on hold. After waiting for about 2 minutes, the call changed to where I could hear staff and customers talking. Then I heard only staff talking as the customer had left. I waited another several minutes and decided to hang up and call them back. When I called back, I explained I had been on hold and decided to just call back. There was just an icy silence on their end. I then said I wanted to inquire about day care for my dog. Again silence...and then finally I hear an exasperated, and intimidating "Okay"....which was very rude sounding. Not once did I get a "Thank you for holding" or an " I'm so sorry, it's been busy here". Just a very rude "okay" as if to say..."okay, ask......I haven't got all day..." I felt like I was a nuisance for even calling. I then said, "wow, it sounds like you are pretty busy, and like you would rather not talk to me, so I will go someplace else." Not a word was said....not once did the person say "oh no, please what can I help you with?" If that is the way they treat people and prospective customers then count me out!! I would never want people like this to take care of my dog. And for whoever is in charge of this person who answered the phone...the calls were made on March 7, at around 10:48 am and again at 10:52 am. read more

My Goldendoodle, Pacer, loved it there. He would literally try to drag me to the gate when we arrived each day. It is obvious the staff loves dogs. Even when he was injured at another facility and required individualized care I had no worries. They treated him like he was their own. Not completely satisfied with the other dog kennels i have used in the past. I decided to trust this place to take care of my Mini Schnauzer for a week while I had to go out of state. I am 100% happy with the facility, staff, and treatment my lil buddy received. They even gave his eye medication to him twice a day, and I can tell by his behavior that he was treated very well. My dog doesn't like to feel "locked up" and this place gives the pets freedom to move about. That is wonderful. I will trust only Pampered Pets Resort in the future to care for my dog. read more

This was the first time our family has left our two dogs anywhere for more than a day. We left them for 5 days. We came in unscheduled and checked the place out beforehand. First thing I noticed? It was very clean. You could tell they love dogs by all the photos and the way they kept up the facility. All the dogs were outside playing. They looked so happy, and well cared for. We chose this place because they only kennel the dogs for feeding and sleeping. Otherwise they play, play, and play. I expected them to be filthy when I got them because it rained all week. When we picked them up (unannounced and a day early, by accident), they looked and smelled just like they always do. Great! They were very happy to see us but not frantic. They seemed super happy. When we all got home they were very well behaved and didn't bark as much as normal. They also settled right in and weren't anxious to be by my side the whole day. I could tell they were loved and cared for. Seriously Love THIS PLACE! The owner and staff are amazing with the dogs and you can tell they enjoy what they are doing. They even cleaned all the dog blankets and I got all my dog toys back!!! read more

I brought my 3 dogs here for a week long boarding/daycare. I was allowed to bring my dogs by for a quick meet and greet prior to leaving them just to ensure they would fit in with the other dogs. I really appreciated the cleanliness and space of the kennels. The owners are super friendly and willing to explain the daily routines of feeding and playtime.
