I will not be going back to groomer off of bear valley. This is the second time i have taken my dog to get a grooming and they messed up both times. The first time i was willing to give a second chance because the owner called and said to bring my dog back and will fix her cut free of charge. Second time they messed up again and shaved my dog down i let them know i have notes saved of how i want her cut each time and the lady admitted she messed up and even shaved my dog bald on a spot on her head. She said sorry i know i fkd up i will give u a discount so she charged me and i didn't notice until i got home cause i was in a hurry but she still charged me full price and i never got a discount. I reached out and i was told i would received a call from the owner i believe but she never called me... i will not be going back. Brought my dogs here twice. First time, they lost my dogs tag which he had on when dropping him off. They kept arguing saying that he came without one. He always has it on! Anyway not a big deal so I bought a new one. Second time bringing my dogs and not going anymore. I wanted to go again since it is convenient. My appointment was 10:30 am for 2 of my small poms. When dropping off I told the lady at the front I had to be at work at 3 and she reassured me that they will be done before. Called around 2 and they said they're just getting started on my dogs now and not sure when they'll be done. The lady kept arguing saying that she didn't know the dogs in front of mine would be matted and there were 5 dogs ahead. Mind you that my appointment was 10:30am!! They had 4 hours!!! I had to go pick up my dogs unfinished since I have to be at work which I told her about and paid around $93 for whatever they did. Instead of apologizing and trying to come up with a solution, they were just arguing with their customer who made an appointment days in advance. No wonder they have such a bad rep around town. Update: Brought my dogs home. They didn't do anything and made me pay for 2 baths! This place should've NEVER taken my dogs if they had five dogs before them and had them wait four hours doing nothing and waiting in crates. I was clearly upset when I went to pick up my dogs and the owner never apologized and just made me pay. Even suggested a tip for a service they did not fulfill and I feel this is very shady. If they could not do the service, they shouldn't charge you for it. read more

It's Sunday and we had an appointment. They opened late. They said my dog would be ready in 3 hours. It's been 5 hours and they have yet to call that my dog is ready to be picked up. Been calling them for 2 hours and they don't pick up the phone. This has got to be the sketchiest dog grooming place in HD. Not really sure if my dog is safe right now. We are headed over there now. I gave them three chances but I will not be returning. The grooming takes too long. Everytime my puppies are in a crate for several hours. Once my puppy was cut, I figured he was using students but not charging student prices. The last straw was once I got my puppy home Sunday he e already had yellow on his undercoat. Apparently peed in the crate. My puppies are very thirsty when they come back and seem to scratch a lot. My puppies never scratch themselves. I tried to patronage. Also I don't appreciate being charged $3.00 to use my card. That ridiculous.Never again! read more

The owner and his wife treat their employees so bad and one of the employees told me (not going to mention who) they don't even pay minimum wage and pay under the table!!!! I was under the weather so I sent my nephew to drop my dog Enzo off for his bath and haircut. A little over an hour later he went and picked him up. the hair around his face was uneven, they left all the hair underneath his paws, left all the hair around his ears and did a poor job on his hygiene cut. I called and asked if I may bring him back so it could be corrected and they said no problem. I explained to them on the phone my issues with the haircut and when my nephew brought him back it's like I didn't say anything. The hygiene cut is horrible, ears still horrible and hair still under his paws. I live in spring valley lake so I mainly choose this groomer for convenience but I'm sure at this point. I'd rather drive 20 minutes than to spend $60 on a haircut that i'm unhappy with read more

I took my dog here awhile back and it was great but after the new management it has been horrible. Even though I had appointments my dog was kept in a crate for over 4 hours twice. He is 14 years old and not used to being in a crate. When I got him back his haircut was uneven and he still smelled. I tried to give them another chance because I couldn't find a mobile groomer and they are close to where I live. I made an appointment but told the woman on the phone he could not be left in a crate. She advised me to call prior to my appointment and see if they were on schedule but when I called the man told me they were very busy and had 18 dogs in front of mine. I expressed my confusion since I had an appointment, how could there be 18 dogs in front of mine and he said the appointment was only to hold a spot. I asked him if he could call me when they were ready for my dog and he said yes, 3 hours later I still have not received a call and they are almost closing. I will definitely not be giving this place another chance. read more
