I got the Gordita with Asada ($8.50) and paired it with a Mexican Coke ($2). The Gorditas looked small but I paired it with a small bag of chips and was fairly full even though I have a big appetite. My friend got the Torta, he said it was good but the bread:meat ratio was a bit overwhelming as there wasn't enough meat to compensate for the amount of dough. One tip is that the two workers, while very friendly and understanding, seemed to not know much English. Still friendly enough to cater to our needs and get what we wanted! Overall, nothing too crazy, but not bad if you want to try one of the many food trucks around Harrisonburg.

Parking is available in the lot where the store is. The fruit is FRESH! The fruit with the savory spices and chamoy sauce tasted amazing. It does get a little messy. So make sure to have plenty of napkins. The popsicle was spicy and sweet. The whole family enjoyed. There were so many different combinations to choose from! It wasn't very busy there were two other tables sitting when we walked in. When we got to the counter a lady took our order, she was dressed nice so we assumed she was a manager. After writing everything down she asked us to sit and wait. We were waiting for what seemed like long enough that our food should be ready and the manager looking lady start walking our direction with a bag. I looked at her and she "this is mine, I'm a customer, I was just helping out. They're still working on your food." Then she left with her food. It was really weird. Since we ordered, two more tables had filled and the first two had eaten and left. One of the new tables received their food and we continued to wait for a bit. There were only two people working there and the last that was bringing food out and packing to go orders seemed busy so we didn't want to bother her. When I checked the time we had been sitting there for an hour. We asked about the order and were told that the empanadas took some time and they had a cook not show up and if I changed my order it would be faster. (I ordered the carne asada.) I was actually craving it so I declined to do so. She said it would be 20 more minutes for the food and we asked her to cancel the order. We had plans that evening that we were now pushing to be late for. So we sat there for an hour and never got to eat. We left feeling hungry and frustrated. I worked in restaurants for a long time, I understand that staffing can be tough some days and isn't always in your control. What you can control is telling people when they order that the food could take up to an hour and a half so they can make a decision on whether that works for them or not. That's a substantial amount of time to expect someone to wait. We also would have appreciated some sort of check in with information. What's taking so long, how much longer is it expected to be and so on. I hope to get to try the food of we're back in the area, but for this visit it was very disappointing.

Take your taco, put pico and slaw, drizzle lime, and enjoy the flavor sensation. Take your tamale out of the husk, drench in avocado salsa, and thank me later.

The food was okay, but I would not describe it as healthy. There was really no reason to tip because no service was provided.

I was a bit unsure about this one as I walked up -- there are quite a few taco vendors in Harrisonburg, so the bar was already set high, but man... I was not disappointed. First I ordered tacos lengua and al pastor, super juicy and flavorful and accompanied by some bomb salsas and a small serving of soup (I think its frijoles charros). I was so impressed I had to try the taco barbacoa and a mexicana (essentially an ultra dank quesadilla w/ al pastor inside). Barbacoa was super tender and juicy (although not explosive in the flavor department), but the real star was the Mexicana. Cheap ($1 tacos, tax included) and awesome food coupled with solid service gives this one a perfect score in my book.
