    Roastbeef sandwich

It's a small nice restaurant.Because I know nothing about the Spanish I don't know how to make order. Roast beef sandwich and a hot americano. What in the sandwich tastes good but it's too much for an Asian girl.

Cute little bakery in the center of the city. Conchas and lattes were delicious. Definitely recommend stopping in for a breakfast snack!

One of my favorite meals while in CDMX. We had reservation and asked to be seated in their patio…read morearea because it was such a nice day. The patio was covered with so many greenery and provided a lot of shades. We ordered a few items to share: - Toasted bread, chicken liver, and black truffle: a good appetizer to start off with. The chicken pate was good, a bit different from what I'm used to. - Pappardelle with pork ragu: this was super good. Love the pasta texture on this. Pork ragu sauce was also perfect. - Robalo ceviche, watermelon, Serrano pepper: a refreshing ceviche to balance out the meal. the watermelon added a bit of sweetness. - Pizza capocollo, radicchio, straquinella cheese: a good size pizza to share. I like thin crust. - Arugula, roasted tomatoes, Parmesan salad: fresh arugula that went perfectly with the roasted tomatoes. Every meal needs a good salad. - Ricotta stuffed zucchini blossoms: this was my favorite dish we tried. Such a unique combo of flavors. The ricotta cheese just melted when you bite into the zuchinni blossoms. It also had a light crispy texture. - Hummus and pita bread: another good choice for appetizer. The hummus was solid. The service was excellent. Everyone was attentive and our food didn't take long to come out. Would highly recommend to add this place to your list. This is also a great area to check out, plenty of things to do in La Condesa.

Maybe Lardo is better for breakfast, but we didn't feel it was fully worth the hype for lunch. We'd…read moremade a reservation in advance for Saturday at 2PM. The interior was brightly lit with a large beautiful bar, and had the vibe of a French cafe. We were brought out some complimentary (pita-like) bread, which was nice, but would have been better with something like olive oil to dip it in. My friend and I ordered 3 items to share - the Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Eggplant Parmesan, and Barbacoa. Portions were on the smaller side, but this was the perfect food quantity for us. The Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms were fine but a little bland. I liked the Eggplant Parmesan and Barbacoa, but neither really blew my mind. For everything I'd heard about Lardo, I felt like our experience was good but not amazing. Would check it out for breakfast to compare!

Loveliest bakery i've been to at CDMX! It's European-influenced with Mexican flavors in a café…read moreatmosphere. It was packed with non-stop customers but the line went through pretty fast. So many pastries and breads to choose from! We of course had to try the famous guava roll which is croissant-like that also had cheese custard. The cute little pig like cookie was cute. I don't remember the rest but definitely enjoyed them all. Glad i was able to visit this social-media hotspot during our trip in March.

We didn't dine in since it was hard to find seats for our group, so we just stop by to grab to-go. If you want some their popular items, make sure to come during the day time since it will run out. We came here a few times to try different baked goods: - Guava roll (5/5) - Butter croissant and honey croissant (4/5) - Tres leches cake (5/5) - Concha (3/5) - Mil hojas de frutos rojos/mixed berries napoleon (4/5)   The most popular item was their guava roll and it lived up to its expectations. The guava jam was sweet but not too overwhelming. The roll itself had a similar taste to a croissant. It was soft and flaky. They nailed the texture. We ordered a slice of the tres leches and napoleon. Tres leches was moist and the napoleon also was delish. Everything was well priced and a decent size for the price. The concha was also good, not too dry. They have an outdoor patio with shades. The menu also offer a variety of coffee drinks although we didn't try it this time. Overall, a great stop for a sweet treat.

This restaurant is located in the 6th floor and was my favorite meal of my trip. It's a bit pricy…read more(upscale US priced) but it's fine dining, sit down service and has a great view of the plaza below. We did not have reservations but came early. We were not sat on the patio as those seats were all taken by reservations but we were able to walk out and take a picture of the plaza below. I chose the pulpo adobado. Grilled octopus, a spicy avocado sauce and biryani rice. The octopus was nicely charred and the creamy avocado sauce went well with the charred octopus. The octopus was grilled perfectly it had a nice char outside and was tender inside. I tried a bit of my friends Chamorro de Verdi (pork shank) in mole sauce. The pork shank was braised beautifully and fall off the bone tender. The mole sauce was flavorful and not overly sweet. The portion was also huge. The meal came with bread accompanied with 2 types of butter regular and a coco infused butter. Both had salt on the side which added a bit of flare to it. I preferred the regular butter but enjoyed trying the chocolate one, it reminded me more of a breakfast pastry or a dessert. Overall great meal, service, ambiance and nice view.

I ordered chilaquiles verdes with arrachera 8/10 because the food came out lukewarm--if THAT! Service sucked 4/10- I felt like because I was a "foreigner" attention wasn't given to me at complete capacity, I'm native to Mexico even if I don't look it. The food runners gave better service & attention than the actual waiter. I would've liked to sit closer to the overview of El Zocalo but at least photo opportunities were available. I expected better from this place & maybe a revisit will enhance the rating experience. Ambiance 10/10 because it is beautiful & gorgeously decorated all over; everything else could be elevated!
