I am immunocompromised, and much of my motivation for going there was that I felt they aligned with my own health and wellness journey and philosophy...and that what they provided was useful to supporting my health and wellness. I have had food poisoning twice in 1 year…read more Once from a "cheeseburger" flavor "deli-style meat pie", and once from a package of Maple Leaf Natural Selections Roasted Beef (although the sell by date was a month away, the package was 'puffy', and it was $2 off - that should have been a warning.) Something is wrong with their temperature controls. The manager doesn't care and asserts that they have excellent standards. He further states that there is "no way they can tell it is their product that caused me to be sick unless they test what came out of me" (my actual shit). If you truly care about your family, especially infants and the elderly, NEVER by a meat-containing product from this Safeway's Deli section. I am a registered nurse. I know the onset and symptoms of food poisoning. Furthermore, I am on medication that causes chronic constipation (sorry that info... but that is just to illustrate that I would have been much more sick had I not had that chronic problem). As it was, I missed a day's work, and a day's lost wages because my sick days were already exhausted. Because the manager, Rob Goruc, believes there are excellent safety standards, and that "no one has complained of food poisoning in the 9 months I have worked here", I don't believe any action will be taken to address what is clearly flaw somewhere in their food handling process. Beware. And please complain about Rob Goruc if he doen't respond to your concerns either. I have sent complaints to Safeway head office, and Maple Leaf customer service about this store. I have never had issues with Safeway Deli sections at other Safeway stores.

Unclear…read more But what is clear is that this store owner's greed has completely made them lost any concept of decency or customer service. Happily, I would pay a few dollars for this store to provide me the single sheet of printed paper for a label and a 12" piece of tape. Total cost? Less than a few cents. Cost for me to buy a printer, toner, paper, and packing tape at home? Much more. But UPS is more interested in scraping profit in excess sales of rolls of tape and printing supplies rather than saving everyone a whole lot of time, the world a whole lot of resources, and instead offering a convenient and resource conservative service that, like I stated, I would be fully happy to pay a reasonable price for. UPS is dead to me.

As I was leaving the parking spot, Purolator truck arrived (Alberta license plate A-79427). I signaled to the driver that I was about to leave, so he could park ahead passing me, however he parked blocking my way. He made me wait until he delivered something to the unit next to mine. The driver was male, tall, old, had white somewhat curly and short hair, blue eyes. I maneuvered the car and waited until he unblocked the way so I could proceed. When I said "I told you I was leaving", he was angry, charged at me in a threatening way, shouted and entered the truck. Instead of backing up his Purolator truck, he moved forward trying to pass, only leaving a minimum space between our vehicles. In the process, my car was scratched (paint was clearly removed in two places). He did not stop. Later that day, I called Purolator to complain (the waiting time was extreme, above 1h). I was told by a manager (Nadia) that someone was going to contact me, but 13 calendar days later, no one has contacted me yet. They do not deserve us, customers, and should not be in business any longer.

Did a Amazon Canada return... At bowness Branch... Woman didn't know how to enter return number…read moremanually... Basically said not possible... Told her Canada Post can... She then stated packages would not....!!! Get to Amazon Canada!!! 4 packages.... Asked her to SCAN ... Packages... She did all 4 worked. Funny get email from Amazon.. stating 2 of 4 received... 2 not received...??? All scanned fine...at her ups ( she stated she is owner of that branch) Suspect items...2 stolen by owner. Will NEVER use that UPS OR recommend that anyone use it.
