Pancho villas has been a staple of the huntington community for as long as I can remember. I have been going for over 25 years and recently went after a long time to see if it was still good. What you get here is good, decent Mexican food. The chips and salsa are good and the table side guacamole is delicious. The margaritas are well made and a good size. I always get the enchiladas and they are always consistently delicious. Also, the service is always friendly! I'm happy it was still good and will definitely be back.

I will never understand the low reviews from this place. First of all their menu is priced so moderate and you could actually take your family there and not kill yourself with the cost. The inside, remind you of a typical Mexican villa, very quaint. The owner and workers are absolutely friendly, and the inside is well seated for the amount of group that you have. I really love their beer menu also which has so many different varieties. My family highly recommends the margaritas. A nice pitcher goes a long way. I love the taco salad. I've had it with steak and in the pasta with chicken. It fills you up and it is nice that it comes with a side of rice and beans Parking can be a little challenging here so if you are pressed for time, try to arrive early.

This Mexican establishment has been a staple and Huntington for years very authentic feel and cuisine. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for good Mexican dinner and drinks, friendly staff, and good food.

Friends of ours had suggested Pancho Villas's in Huntington. My wife and I with our friends dined on a Saturday night whit reservations. We were greeted and seated immediately. We were given complimentary Chips and Salsa to start with, Chips were fresh and salsa a little spicy and good. For drinks we all ordered Margaritas, 2 frozen, a Pomegranate and Blue Coconut. All were really good. For Dinner I had the Combo Enchilada, Chimichanga and Burrito with Black Beans and Rice. Also, very good. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and polite. Our drinks and food came out in a timely manner, drinks were cold, food was hot. No leftovers. It was a nice dining experience with my wife and friends. We were not rushed so we were able to enjoy the company and food. I would like to return and try some other dishes over the summer.

Today is Happy Mexico Independence Day! LA's Mexican restaurants have nothing on Pancho Villas in my Huntington hometown on Long Island! I've been coming here since the 1980s and they're still in business serving up great Mexican fare and outstanding Margaritas! This daytime photo on Yelp is how I last remembered the restaurant. I used to lunch here often when my office was in Woodbury. I've been in LA for over twenty years and visit NY often at least before the pandemic. I can't wait to dine here once again! Great food, ambiance, service and Margaritas!

Decent cheap Mexican food. Big portions and good drinks. Our server was timely and friendly. We had a big birthday celebration and had a really nice back room to ourselves. I wish the food had some more heat but was overall good.

Warm friendly, original Mexican restaurant in Huntington Village. Christian was there and brought out our food:. Loud Christmas music was playing. Two ladies were at a dimly lot booth raving over just made guacamole. And me- I'm happy going in for Mexican comfort food to go. Love having this place keeping the traditional memories going in this ever changing village.

This place is a serious let down. The worst mojito I have ever had- had to ask to send it back and instead the waitress brought over a cup of strawberry purée because I told her it lacked flavor and only tasted like club soda. Additionally, the drink menu has no prices on it which is weird. The shrimp quesadilla was good but is considered only an appetizer so it doesn't come with rice or beans like all the other dishes.

I love Pancho Villa's! I have been going here for years. The restaurant has such great, upbeat vibes. Perfect for people of all ages. Their margaritas, fresh guacamole, and chicken enchiladas are a can't miss. Seriously the best guac in town!! Chicken soup is also great and tastes homemade. You can take out but pretty sure it's pickup only (no delivery or apps). Can't wait to keep coming back!

Yeah, you read that correctly... not a typo. We were visiting my daughter and her family while on Long Island, but we had to fend for ourselves one evening while they had other plans. We were in the mood for Mexican food, so Yelp to the rescue... and this place popped up. Well, it lived up to all the hype, I'm happy to say. The restaurant is really small... the only negative... and it can get kind of loud, so okay, two negatives, but the food more than made up for it. We had a really good waiter, who was very helpful in helping us place our order. We ordered guacamole, and they made it to our specifications, minus the hot peppers and cilantro. It was FABULOUS and just like I like it.... as good as Besito, by the way !!! I love that place, too. However, what really won me over was this salmon dish in red mole sauce, which I had never had before. It was AMAAAAAAZING. My husband and I SPLIT an order of their Salmon Con Tropical Mole, which was pan-roasted filet of salmon, mole manchamanteles, sweet plantains, papaya pico de gallo. We got some extra plantains and some street corn, and with the gargantuan size of salmon, it was more than enough for the both of us... plus we definitely filled up on chips and salsa (and guac for me). Everything was superb, and I want to say that the salmon was some of the best I've ever had. It was flaky, flavorful and succulent with a very light but appreciated outer crunch. It was soooooooooooo good. So we came away from this place, raving to everyone and anyone who would listen. We talked my daughter and son-in-law into ordering takeout from here as they were worried it was just too small to deal with a bunch of us going, esp. with their young children. Anyway, I'm disappointed to say that their takeout was an entirely different situation. We ordered the "same" salmon dish, and it was like HALF the size. It was the size for one... not that two could split. (If you look at my photo of it, you'll see how large it was... now cut it in half... that's what we got on takeout.) I let my husband have it cuz I was too angry. It had the mole sauce, but I didn't care once I saw it.... plus the salmon itself looked different... it didn't have that nice crunchy shell from pan roasting it. Just so disappointing. The guacamole was still as good as I remember, as was their salsa... but the portion size and quality of preparation... at least with the salmon... was an abomination. I can't speak to what my daughter and son-in-law ordered for entrees because we didn't try it in the restaurant, so we have no point of reference. I feel bad because I raved and raved about their food, and this takeout experience sucked. There should be NO difference. I guess my takeaway would be to recommend that you dine-in there. I'm awarding all FIVE stars for DINE-IN ONLY... and nothing to do with their takeout process. Brave the crowds because they will be there, make a reservation which will help, and eat THERE. I just don't trust the takeout experience with them.

We sat a bit and waited to have our orders taken and sat a bit longer for the check. They were nice, polite, friendly but a little quicker service would have been appreciated. Would I go back? Sure. I'll try something else.

This place is a small deli that has a few tables inside where you can sit down and eat if you want. I've been here twice and took my order to go both times. The menu has a couple of different types of tacos, including lengua, carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, chorizo, chicken. They also have tortas, burritos, and breakfast platters. All tacos were listed for $2.75 except for lengua, which was $3. I think this place is cash only. I've tried the lengua, carne asada, al pastor, and chorizo tacos. The tacos are beautifully simple and really solid for the most part. They all came out hot, with double tortillas, onion, cilantro. They give you a generous bag of radishes, lime, and hot sauce, which is great. The only one I wasn't a huge fan of was the chorizo, as the meat was cut up while still being in the casing, instead of being taken out of the casing, which I much prefer. The meats were also fairly dry, so this probably isn't the place for you if you want something ultra juicy. However, the lengua was an exception as it was very tender and moist. With this said, I still very much enjoyed all of the tacos I had. The best thing about this place is that they're charging very reasonable prices at present. There are a lot of taco places which charge $6 or more per taco, which is absurd in my opinion. So I'm glad this place exists and will happily continue to patronize this place as long as prices remain reasonable. Cheers.

The birria tacos with the dipping sauce were one of the highlights, juicy and full of flavor. The smash burger taco was a fun twist and worked surprisingly well. We also tried a few different tacos including a shrimp steak taco with crispy onions and chimichurri crema, and a blackened shrimp taco with mango pico which added a nice contrast. The taco of the month, a blackened sirloin steak taco with horseradish crema and corn pico de gallo, brought something a little different to the table. We finished with a churro funnel cake topped with cinnamon sauce which was warm and a great dessert to share. Overall, a solid spot for tacos with a lot of variety and creative options.
