Ponchos was delicious! Great service and great food. The staff was so courteous and attentive. Thank you Julie!!!

I found out the head cook was from CA so I had high hopes that it would be somewhat authentic, but it was just as bland and uneventful as any other Mexican restaurant in New England. I ordered my food to go, but that's no excuse for sub par food. I asked about the 'mini burrito' and I was told it had lettuce, tomato, cheese, rice, sour cream and chorizo. It was only beans and cheese. The enchilada had very little sauce, and was nearly 'frozen' as if they expected me to bake it at home (?) The rice was undercooked and crunchy, plus they charged me for hot sauce. I highly doubt this chef is from CA, because that's where I just moved here from and I can make better Mexican food with my eyes blindfolded.

Complimentary chips and salsa....not much flavor in the salsa, sadly

I rate a place on it's salsa. And I really dislike this place's salsa. There wasn't really any flavor, sadly. Or any heat. It was watery tomato sauce. I did like the tricolored Mexican tortilla chips, though as a festive touch. I ordered a rice bowl as an homage to what I like at Chipotle. Couldn't have been farther from fresh. The rice was overcooked, mushy and of poor quality. The beef was fatty, and the toppings tasted like they came out of a bag. I asked for an avocado or lime dressing to give it a bit lighter feel. But it didn't help. Hubby got the chimichanga and didn't have any complaints. Probably wouldn't try again

If you are looking for a local spot with a warm inviting atmosphere, EXCELLENT food and AMAZING service then this is your new favorite. Trust me, you will not find a better option. Try it once...love it for life! This is the best Mexican food that I've tasted in the US. Put away your passport, come to Pancho's!

EXCELLENT take-out from Panchos as always! Jalico Combo with Enchilada Carne Asada, Chimichanga with shredded.chicken, & Tostada with shredded chicken, Durango Chimichanga with shredded chicken, Durango Burrito with Barbacoa, Panchos House Tacos, Churros and a Mexicam Coke! SO GOOD!

    Gross

It's in a underwhelming area with cafeteria style interior. Too much tile and echo. Not crowded at all on a Saturday night. Everyone in my party loved the food. Mixed drinks were nothing special. Beer list mexican. Whatever you do, don't order the veggie quesadilla. I asked for no peppers. I got something like you make when you have no food in your house but a bag of frozen veggies, cheese and a tortilla. There were supposed to be mushrooms and onions also. This is what I saw. Green beens, peas, lima beans, corn. See picture. Gross! Waitress was apologetic and did credit meal. I just want to know what kitchen uses frozen veggies in Mexican food? Boo!

If you are looking for a cozy and warm place, this is not your restaurant. It has a huge interior and a very long bar, and if you want to see a sporing event, you have found your place with multiple large screen TV's playing all the live action. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was nearly empty and sounds echoed a bit. We were greeted by our server, Delmi M, and she brought out small containers of chips with some relatively mild salsa (neither were replenished during the meal). The service was slow, but relaxing, and since were were celebrating a birthday party for a granddaughter, that suited us just fine. Wow stuck to soft drinks and water, reasonable at $3.50 for soft drinks and quickly refilled as they were emptied. The dinner plates were more than enough for each of us, and the food was delicious but rather bland for a Mexican place. We had the following: Grilled Veggie Tacos, Veggie Enchilada, Chicken Chimichanga, Chicken Tacos, Pork Belly Tacos, and Blackened Salmon Tacos. The salmon was a real taste treat, as was the pork belly. One aspect of the meal that is a perpetual problem for me is that the server removed plates as people finished the last bite, leaving no silverware or plate for sharing what the more leisurely diners might not want to finish. The food was definitely good, and I am very sure that on a busy Saturday night or during a major sporting event, this place would be rocking. The murals on the walls were colorful and diverse in their appeal. If I were looking for a romantic and private experience, I would avoid 3 Amigos, but if I wanted to gather a crowd for a sports bart experience or a roomy place to gather, I would try it again. I would also like to feel I was in a place where the waitstaff was excited to see the clientele. Their attitude could have been due to a lazy Saturday lunch without much happening.

We (parents and a toddler) arrived hungry after driving two hours and had a hard time getting his attention at times. We arrived before 6pm on a Friday but still there was a wait. Once we were seated, the server was pretty prompt and really friendly, though generally service was somewhat slow with a wait for food. We were waiting almost an hour for entrees and about to change our order to to-go because of stress with our exhausted toddler, but of course that's when the food arrived. We had to shovel it in and leave. The food was the most disappointing part. The chips are clearly not homemade. The salsa didn't have much flavor, and the guacamole was a huge letdown. It had a dull green color and very "slop" style texture (think sour cream texture, not chunky like real guac) that all pointed to store bought / not fresh. I had the chicken enchiladas, and the sides of rice (so salty) and beans (very soupy) brought down an already undesirable dish. The enchiladas were cooked nicely but far too cheesy. The green sauce was nearly tasteless, the red sauce is what made it all edible. Wouldn't ever really come back here. I wish I could say something more positive!

This place has gone seriously downhill…read more What used to feel fresh and made-to-order now feels lazy and low-quality. The guacamole was shockingly bad squishy, overly processed, and nothing like the fresh guac they used to make in front of you. The chips tasted like they came straight out of a grocery store bag, which is pretty unacceptable considering how good they used to be. My partner's pork belly taco was almost inedible. It was tough, dry, and bizarrely similar to overcooked chicken with a gristly texture...definitely not pork belly. We ended up leaving most of it behind. We came back specifically for the mushroom taco we'd loved before, and it was a huge disappointment. Instead of something thoughtful or flavorful, it was just a massive pile of chopped fake meat with no seasoning and no balance. The vegan avocado taco was just as bad basically a bland grilled slice of avocado with zero effort put into it. Honestly, it feels like the kitchen has completely given up. The only saving grace was the bar, the bartenders were great and the margaritas were genuinely excellent. That's the only reason this isn't a 1-star review.
