We love Pancho's, both locations, but this one is quieter than the one on the beach. We went there twice this trip! Started with a margarita made at the table, which I liked. I had Coconut Shrimp, which were excellent! So crispy and Mazatlan shrimp! Husband had Garlic Fish, sea bass, which he loved. Second time I had Garlic Shrimp, really good. Husband had Shrimp Molcajete, which was tasty but the shrimp were a little overcooked. Then the complimentary kahlua served at the end of the meal. Service is always good! read more

The service was amazing got tequila shots before and after dinner along with kahlua and milk for free after dinner. 4 of us and all our meals were amazing. My step mom said best salmon she's ever had anywhere! I had fajitas they were good my dad had the Mexican plate and it was huge I wish I had ordered that instead. Came to celebrate my brother and her wife after their small marriage ceremony. Staff was very attentive and right away gave us a complimentary guava mezcal shot that was creamy, sweet and just perfect. I ordered some fish with a side of rice and veggies. It was deliciously fresh. My son enjoyed some fried chicken tenders. I drank a virgin michelada substituted with just mineral water. We all enjoyed the food, staff and the restaurant. Pancho's is wonderful. Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices, and they make you feel welcome no matter where you're from. I speak Spanish but heard many staff speaking English. The owner, Panchito, seems to know everyone in Mazatlan and is a master restauranteur. Many people do not know that Panchito was once a world-famous breakdancer. Even today, he'll bust a move if you ask him. He may deny it at first. Don't push him about it if they're busy. read more

Secret hidden restaurant though an alleyway of eclectic shops at the very end, right on the water. Service was immediate and friendly, the shrimp trio was the best to get a taste of 3 different ways the shrimp is cooked. Another amazing place on the beach. To get here from the street you walk through the "mall" some vendors and then you come to it at the end as you see the beautiful ocean. This place is always busy so come early if you want a spot near the ocean. But honestly it's great wherever. They have an upstairs and main floor. We were seated right away but this time not at the beach which is fine. Three people in our party. We had margaritas (tutti fruity and lime) and I had a Corona. When you get seated they bring chips and salsas. Which are delicious. We ordered the Mexican platter (which is huge) can feed two maybe three people. We also got the Panchos chicken breast (which is covered in cheese it doesn't tell you that) comes with side of veggies and fettuccini Alfredo (so yummy) and lastly the half chicken. I ended up swapping my friend for the Hall chicken as I don't like cheese much, all our food was delicious. Came out hot and flavourful. There is the option here to bring your leftovers home too. The bathrooms are located upstairs and are super clean and lovely. The staff here are awesome. We got great service. They also gave us tequila shots and a few other shots for no charge! They provide complimentary bread/muffins, although we did not get any until they overheard me questioning why everyone else got some except for us. Decent price. The Mexican combo plate was absolutely delicious and the portions were big. AND the Marlin taco (a la carte) was one of the best food items I have ever eaten in my entire life! We went there for supper and, as usual, were not disappointed. Awesome service, great margaritas and excellent food. They also have nice extras such as a shot of Mescalero before dinner and a Kailua or ice cream at the end of dinner. I highly recommend any of their fresh fish including my favorite,, the Mar de Cortez Fish Fillet. read more

We came here after several people recommended this spot and boy it did not disappoint!! Breakfast was freaking amazing...we had the mezcatal and the el patriota... probably butchering the spelling on both of those. Excellent flavors, ingredients are fresh, service was great and cute outdoor patio. Great bar indoors as well. I live in breathe for mexican and tex mex food so my palate was in heaven. Hands down some of the best I've ever had! The green juice and orange juice was fresh as well. This is a must do spot. read more
