Best overpriced burritos in town that are Shystie with the hot sauce. Come on $23 for 2 burritos then if I asked for 2 red and 2 green sauce. If I'm tipping you on top of my order, you should just give me my salsa. They literally will not open the restaurant because they're too lazy to fix the bathroom. Since I moved to Springfield the lack of Mexican food has been disappointing to say the least. I got this for take out the other day and eessh it was rough. I got a shredded beef burrito, a jefe burrito and a tamale. The shredded beef burrito was a disgrace. It was a giant tortilla with a small amount of meat and a ton of cheese with some sad rice and beans on the side. If that was the only thing I ordered it would have been a one star for sure. It was awful. The Jefe burrito was much better. The steak was chewy, but I enjoyed the potatoes and bacon. I think it needed something more though. I ended up putting the rice and beans on the side inside which kind of helped. The tamale may have been the worst tamale I had ever had. It tasted like it was weeks old, the edges of it were hard and crusty. I ate the whole thing trying to figure out what made it so bad. read more

I grabbed 2 tacos and paid a little over $6 for them but was not disappointed. I'm from Cali and tacos out here always disappoint. Not from Poncho's though! These are some of the best Tacos. Called ahead and placed a phone order, to be picked up by Doordash. Specified to a manager that we wanted cheese enchiladas... never got them. Their menu is formatted terribly. The drink was made incorrectly, and one dish was entirely missing. Never ordering again. There are two locations of Panchos in town & this is the newer of the two. The restaurant was very cold and the bathroom felt like it could double for a freezer. This location is an old fast food fish place and aside from the orange walls it still looks like an old fast food place. We went here for Taco Tuesday. We tried the Fiesta taco (ground beef, both hard & soft), the chicken taco & the shredded beef taco. The shredded beef & chicken tacos came in hard shells. All the tacos were a buck. The shredded beef wasn't very good. The beef was greasy & didn't have any flavor. The Fiesta tacos were great. The meat has a ton of flavor, but the juice in the meat makes the tortillas fall apart after a bit. The chicken tacos are outstanding. The chicken is in large chunks and has a tremendous flavor. All the hard shells are fried fresh and taste great. The rest of the menu looks good, but it is hard to beat a $4 lunch. read more

It reminds me very much of the Mexican places out in California the Chile verde is very good and so is the carne asada. Been here twice and pleasantly surprised! The drive through orders are excellent: huge servings and I love the ingredients! Everything is fresh and delicious. Well, I mean, it's fried, but made that day. I adore the rice and beans. The cheese in the enchiladas are shredded cheddar and Panchos doesn't melt it down completely which makes for a lovely texture when getting a bite of lettuce and guac. The shredded beef burrito unfortunately had green bell peppers in it which made it inedible for me (food allergy), but everything up to that was great. I keep forgetting about this place, but the drive thru is apparently open 24 hours a day. I should definitely take advantage of that when the Mexican craving hits! Awesome Family owned restaurant. My wife and I decided to try something new, pulled into this place because it is open 24/7. The restaurant was immaculate, and the menu was very straightforward. My wife is a vegetarian, so it is at times harder for her to find something to eat on a menu, but the staff took the time and explained everything to us. For about fifteen bucks we still have a third meal between us, and the food was out in about five minutes. As for the food: It. Was. Massive. I went ahead and got a meal expecting two standard six inch -flat- burritos and a couple globs of rice and beans. What I received instead were two gargantuan burritos that took up half of the plate, and the entire rest of the plate is filled with fresh rice and beans. After we stuffed ourselves we went back for a churro, and even that did not disappoint.
