Wow! What a gem in downtown Springfield! Had a 20minute wait on Saturday morning. Worth it! Got seated at the counter overlooking the kitchen. They were in constant motion! Decided to split with my partner. I ordered Lox and Bagels and he ordered Eggs Benedict. Perfect plates to share half and half. All portions were generous. Service was attentive even though they were slammed. So good! Go try it!!

I was in the mood for breakfast at lunch, so we stopped in here to give it a try-and yes, we will be back! We arrived after the lunch rush, but there were still several diners still eating. Our server was Connor and he was very helpful and attentive (another reviewer commented how he wasn't attentive to them- maybe just having a bad day that day?). The food was amazing. My son built his own loaded burrito with the sweet potato hashbrowns, which were surprisingly good. My granddaughter had the French Toast and I had the country skillet. Normally, skillet meals are too much food for me, but I was pleasantly surprised that the portion was perfect. We all tried the banana foster pancake, which was good, but having had one at an Iowa diner last year, this one just couldn't compare. There was nothing wrong with it, just not as much if a "Wow" that we've had elsewhere. The place was clean and all the staff were very friendly.

This is a very cute cafe located in the heart of Springfield! Parking is on street, so you might have to walk. The interior of the restaurant is very large and can seat large parties as long as it's not during their rush hour time. They have a liquor license, so this place would be great for after work happy hour (Wed-Sat). The food we had a great and cooked well. We would definitely come back again!

Absolutely a home run place for breakfast! Service is solid, cool vibe. Plenty of space and the breakfast portion is ridiculously massive! Good quality of food and fair pricing! The bear hug is amazing! Only complaint if you can even call it that is it doesn't open till 7am and wished it open earlier! But definitely a must eat at!

really good breakfast! large menu with lots of variety from the norm. Cool vibe in the old building. our waitress Destinee was amazing as well. prices are on par with everywhere now avg 12$ a plate but worth it. food was cooked as ordered (unusual anymore ) tasted great.

Staying downtown and we were lucky enough to have a great breakfast place right across the street. Eggs Benedict - english muffin was tender and I didn't have to saw it with a knife! Ham was thin and I wish it had more with the meal but luckily I ordered a side of bacon with it. Steak and eggs were good. Steak a little on chewy side but honestly what do you expect from a breakfast steak. Overall the meal was good and the service was great. No complaints here!

Nice atmosphere with laid back vibe. The menu is somewhat limited compared to other venues. I had a biscuit sandwich. Tasty and filling.

We chose some comfy chairs next to the large windows that overlook downtown Springfield. I'm absolutely obsessed with the ambiance. It was dark, moody, classy, and modern. I bet it looks very different during the day when all the natural light comes through! Our sever Elias was quite memorable! He's very attentive and personable, and his outgoing, bubbly personality is contagious. For reference, he literally skipped around rather than walking as he went to and from our table to check on us. It seemed like he was having so much fun and genuinely enjoys working there. I enjoyed a glass of sauvignon blanc. Very small glass for the price in my opinion, but no complaints about the taste. My partner had an espresso martini that was also served in a rather small glass, but it was strong and delicious. Love that they offer so many mocktail options on their menu as well! Next time I'm in town, I'd love to visit again to sit outside and try some of their appetizers. Everything sounded amazing!

Finley Farms is the Ozark Mill along the Finley River that was purchased by the daughter of Johnny Morris (owner of Bass Pro Shop). They did a huge renovation and conversion to include a restaurant, country store, fine dining speakeasy style bar and restaurant, coffee shop and gardens. We started with brunch at the Ozark Mill restaurant. Then walked the grounds, including an old bridge. We headed out for a few hours and returned for dinner at The Garrison (speakeasy vibe bar and fine dining). We had reservations on the patio and it was simply gorgeous. The food and cocktails were amazing. Service was exceptional - We cannot wait to go back!

Last year we had to cancel a reservation due to our friend's illness, this year we decided we can't wait for our friends anymore. We have to take matters in our hands and come by ourselves. We don't need no stinking chaperone !! We arrived early to shop in the Finley farms shop and check out the ozark Mill. The brick parking lot is beautiful and inviting, we absolutely love the history behind the Ozark Mill, and we're excited to see how gorgeous everything was on the inside. I was slightly concerned that my expectation was gonna be way way way out of bounds considering I've been looking forward to coming to this restaurant for four years. Shockingly the experience was so much better than I had anticipated. We love that we're able to check in upstairs and have a codeword to check into the speakeasy type restaurant downstairs. Not to brag but I still remember the password! We were blessed to be the first couple seated and it was fun that we got a booth so we could check out the other tables and really soak in all the ambience . Our waiter Chris is top notch. He is knowledgeable, quick to help and very authentic. Per his recommendation, we decided to have the Garrison experience which is an eight course meal. We decided this isn't happening all the time so let's go big so then we can go home. To prepare for the dinner of a lifetime. I did decide to do a 24 hour fast so that I would have every nook and cranny of my stomach ready for the amazing meal that I knew was to come, boy was I glad I did. It's obvious that one can tell the skill of a chef based on how everything tastes, what separates magnificent from excellent as when something you typically hate ends up tasting surprisingly good. I have always hated cheese. I know this is a cardinal deficiency in my palate , but it's just the truth. When I saw that there would be French and soup on the eight course meal, I quietly decided that I would just not partake in that course. When I noticed shrimp was on that same meal I knew my husband wouldn't take part in that since he hates shrimp. I figured the experience would be fine if we just didn't eat some of the things that were served to us. Shockingly enough everything was delicious. The girl who hates cheese, devoured her French onion soup, and the man who despise a shrimp decided the shrimp was actually pretty good. Wow !!! That's saying something. We of course, also had to partake in the signature cocktails. I had the molasses cocktail and my husband had the Garrison. Later, we shared the Boulter and my husband was able to have a glass of wine. Our eight course extravaganza took three hours and we loved every second of it. Kris was there the whole time warning us not to fill up too early since there was delicious food ahead. Not a piece was bad things that we typically hated we loved and we left knowing this was the night that will always remember. I am pretty sure this is going to be our standard anniversary, got a promotion, daughter got engaged sort of restaurant where we will mark big occasions with wonderful memories at the Garrison. On our way out, Brandon was sweet to help us. Take the epic Garrison photograph in the tunnel. Thank you, Garrison. You knocked it out of the park.

I'm so glad I took their advice, the buns were soft and buttery, the meat patties were flavorful and moist. We also ordered you are smokin' fries. Apple and hickory smokes fries, loaded w/ sautéed jalapeños, cheese sauce, and we opted the pulled pork with Chipotle bbq. The fries were a hit at our table! Waygu burgers, sign me up! I end up ordering the foodie - double 4oz patties, Boursin style cheese, caramelized onion, candied bacon, w/ truffle mayo. Best damn burger I had in a long time. They offer varieties of sauces to try with your burger & fries, they bring a small tray with each sauce. Espresso, salted caramel, funnel cake, coffee liqueur, frozen vanilla custard. The espresso and salted caramel balance each other out nicely. This shake lives rent free in my head.
