When you're thinking about burgers, Black Sheep needs to be at the top of your list. Casually sitting in what looks like a shipping container off of Glenstone, Black Sheep ASAP is the perfect pit stop for a quick burger and shake while you're out. Despite the ruggedness of the shipping container exterior, the inside has a comfy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating with cartoons playing on tv downstairs and hockey upstairs. The service was fast and very friendly with very little wait time. I opted for the Light My Fire burger because I appreciate The Doors reference. Don't let the name or jalapeños fool you, it wasn't spicy but it was absolutely packed with flavor. Between the wagyu, peppers, cheese, and candied bacon this burger was spectacular! The fries are, well, fries. You have a choice of various aiolis to pick from. I chose the malt vinegar and my wife went for the garlic. In my opinion, they're better with hot spice or just ketchup but I didn't come here for the fries. We also got the Strawberry Fields and Oreo shakes. If you've ever had the cake shake from Chicago's Portillo's, you might like the Strawberry Fields shake that includes strawberry cake swimming in the strawberry shake. Definitely worth it! As the un- disputed black sheep of my family, I liked this place just off the name alone . The hubby I was taking the kids to the this spot and I've been wanting to come forever. Previously, they've only gone through the drive-through, but we decided to eat in. Such a cute place and absolutely delicious food. We opted to try all of the good stuff---- Multiple dipping sauces, different types of fries, we wanted to have the full black sheep experience. The hubby tried the born in the USA burger and I had a lettuce wrap version of bacon me crazy. It was fun to read the menu with all the creative music related burger names. Since we're trying to limit the chicken intake, I think we'll be coming back to here often the prices were very reasonable for the family of four. read more

My wife and I have ate (drive thru) twice now and we have not ate all of our burger because of bad taste. Today my burger was on the bun IN 3 PIECES, I had to wrestle it to keep the meat from falling out. The french fries were tasteless and soggy. The newest addition to the Black Sheep family of Springfield, MO does not disappoint. This is the perfect location with easy access to everything Springfield. The place looks fairly small from the outside, however there's plenty of seating options. In the warmer months enjoy outdoor seating on the second floor. This location is new and they did an excellent job on the design. The staff are friendly and efficient. We got our classic order that we typically order at the other locations, and they did not disappoint. The burgers and fries here are always fresh and this one was no different. The shakes are thick and rich. I have absolutely no complaints about this newest location. $33 for one burger with an extra patty added, side of fries, and two shakes. read more

Good every single time. Drive through is always quick and when I go to sit down in restaurant everything is great.

We have eaten at Black Sheep downtown but didn't want to deal with limited parking so we decided on this one on S. Glenstone. It's an odd looking building, but nice inside. The fella taking orders was super-nice and helpful. He even let me taste of a beer before buying to be sure I would like it. I ordered the Bacon My Heart with fries (and beer) and DH had the Cowboy Carl without cheese. Both came out quickly and were prepared perfectly. Bacon My Heart comes with Roasted Garlic Mayonnaise and, since I LOVE mayo, I asked that they not skimp on the mayonnaise. Oh boy, it was perfect! Messy, but so yummy. The onion rings on DH's burger were divine -- I could eat a basket of those!! We will definitely go back to Black Sheep the next time we're in town. read more

We came in here after 8 o'clock on a Tuesday night. The place was completely deserted and we could tell they were getting ready to close up shop. We felt so bad, but their service was amazing. Every single employee was so kind and attentive. Not a one made us feel bad and they all went the mile to give us superior service. And the food!!! So, so good. Oh my goodness! This was possibly the best burger and sweet potatoes fries I've had! I ordered the "don't hold bacon my heart " and my husband ordered the "foodie". Friend told me it was the best burger he had ever had. Went two days in a row with same experience. It took for ever to get the food, hamburger and fries. Each day fries came first probably 15 minutes into ordering. The burger came about 15 minutes after that. Burger and fries were just okay... it was a burger. Nothing amazing, nothing great. Fried were cold by the time the burger came. Waitresses were nice but not sure why it took so long to get the food each day. read more

I could have gone to McDonalds for fries that had been setting under the lamp. Not fresh and not even hot, barely warm. Shake was nothing special. Could have gotten one as good and a third of the price at Braums. As you can probably tell, not happy. When I ordered, I could see fries under the lamp and asked "are those fresh". She said "oh yes".
