Writing this review on "National Drive-Thru Day" is apropos. Like sitting in your car at the drive-thru for 30-40 minutes for mediocre food? You'll love Pancho's then. The bright side is that this place is open 24 hours; so you can hit the drive-thru at anytime - especially if you are an early riser or a night owl. The lines and wait can be pretty long depending on the time of day. There is no inside service... Food itself can be hit or miss. You can order the same thing twice and have different experiences. Their burritos are my go-to as they are filling and affordably priced. They also have combination plates of tacos and rice, which are not too bad. Service at the window can be hit or miss. As of July '25 they have raised the prices on the burritos and now charge for the sauce (which is also rationed and you get one packet per order)..... I have been through the drive thru of Pancho's hundreds of times, because I love their breakfast burritos. Today I ordered my usual (mixed breakfast burrito). The car in front of me bailed, I should have checked my sack before pulling up to window. I get back to the office and open my tasty goodness and it's NOT what I ordered. I tried to call, but they refuse to answer their phone..... another reason that I wish their lobby was open..... Now that I am at the office, I can't just leave to go back...... I pulled in to score a breakfast burrito and spent time in line with several who make Pancho's their morning jam. Homemade tortilla, hot ingredients, great flavor, good salsa, yup it's all there. On a recent out of town stretch I didn't find a breakfast burrito nearly as good as the one I grabbed at Pancho's. Ordering what's a bit tricky, I think the order taker and I just struggled to get on the same page. But, after we did the food came quick, was piping hot and Oh so flavorful! Only downside is the line at certain times. But that's a direct result of how good the food is in my opinion! Haven't been inside in years, but it's always a great filling drive through meal. Especially handy if you're hungry in the middle of the night. read more

The food and price is great but they charge you to take something off a burrito and the lady at the window is extremely rude they could also be more hospitable. Panchos is the go-to in Salina. The food is affordable and really good. I always get the texano burrito with a side of queso and a large horchata and it never disappoints. Even though the lines are long, the food is always good. 10/10 in my opinion. read more

I went through the drive through at Pancho's this evening as we do often on Thursday night. I ordered 2 breakfast burritos (mix and bacon), 3 adobada tacos, shrimp fajitas, chips and salsa, side of beans, rice and pico and 2 jarritos, I mandarin and 1 strawberry. I got home, I live 45 minutes away. I received my fajitas but no tortillas, and my 2 pico, without chips. I am very frustrated to say the least, and to make it worse, you can not get ahold of anyone at the establishment. I have called numerous times since I returned home with no response. It just rings. I don't usually have an issue here, but this is not okay. I understand we are all human, but these are key components to the items ordered. I just hope I can be refunded for my missing items. However, I don't know how, since no one answers the phone. read more

There staff is rude and act as if they are doing you some kind of favor by speaking to you. Very cold, ridgid, and dismissive. Out of all the 24hr food choices in Salina, I would say the food is at the top, but there are but a few options late night. So....... Awesome fresh food, rich flavors, quality ingredients, and large portions makes Pancho's a great choice for lunch or dinner. The menu has a lot of choices and you can order single items or platters. The first time I ate here I ordered the nachos. Not my cup of tea, chips were horrible and stale. Next time I ordered the breakfast Burrito with steak. It was fantastic. So I decided to try it again for lunch ordered the shredded beef Taco and a Pancho Burrito which had Steak. The Burrito was huge. Both were great. While only the drive in is open at this time, waiting in line for 20+ minutes is we'll worth it. The burritos are encased in a homemade Tortilla shell and the carne asade steak mixture inside is we'll worth the wait! The price point is phenomenal and the food is second to none. So I used to like panchos a lot but it seems like now almost every time I come in something is wrong with my order. The last 3/4 times I got a #5 the cheese in my enchilada wasn't melted. Just cold shredded cheese. This time I also got a burnt taco with no cheese on it. I've also gotten a veggie burrito that had huge hunks of ham on it and I do not eat ham! Very gross! When I order fiesta tostadas I never know what topping will be on it because sometimes it's right and often it's not. I probably won't be back for a while because for almost $10 I expect my meal to at least be hot. Hopefully they can get it together- until then I'll order togo from a restaurant for the same price and get chips and salsa! read more
