    Out "not burnt fajitas"

Stopped in Lindsborg and wanted lunch. Decided to try Jalisco. From the start our experience was not good. The waiter was annoyed that it took us so long to decide what to order. When we ordered we wanted to substitute a meat for a different one (in a combo fajita meal) there was no flexibility. Our fajitas came out burnt. They don't come with the normal fajita stuff (sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, cheese) just the meat rice and beans. When we told them about our meal being burnt the first guy said no that's not burnt (it clearly was) the second guy said it was because we didn't stir it soon enough saying that we had "almost finished the meal" this was not the case. It was clearly burnt and they were not willing to do anything about it. I would suggest going anywhere in Lindsborg to eat but there.

    Chori Pollo

Great place to stop by if you're road-tripping! The service is great and quick. The complimentary chips and salsa are really good as well. 10/10 recommend.

We stopped in at La Fiesta after a long day of driving from Dallas, TX on our spring break…read moreroadtrip. We were greeted by friendly staff, a really prompt waitress, and the restaurant was clean & had great background music! We are spoiled with excellent Mexican food, living in Texas, and so I think that's a necessary disclaimer before I continue. The food arrived exactly as ordered, we chose the chicken & beef combo fajitas, corn tortillas, with the rice & bean side "for two". The food came to the table sizzling hot, and smelled wonderful! It was mild in flavor, and didn't have much spice. The menu cover clearly stated the food is mild, and for additional heat they provide hot sauce. So, I food was still as-expected. My only criticism is that the veggie to meat ratio was very off. There were a TON of bell peppers & onions, and not much meat. I was only able to make 2 tacos out of the meat on the platter, and the second taco had hardly any meat, mostly veggies & I added beans & rice to the mix just to have a full taco. Overall, I'd be happy to stop in at this restaurant again, and would try a different meal! The fajitas were good, just VERY mild in taste, and there was not enough meat on the platter.

I had the Cancun platter and it was good- Admittedly we are spoiled with a couple of fabulous Mexican restaurants we frequent, and all others seem to fall short. Service was a home run and super pleasant. Ice cream was a great finish!

Ordered the carne asada plate ($20) and fish taco ($5). The carne asada had good flavor but wasn't the most tender. The grilled pepper and sides were very good. When we pulled up and saw the cracked glass front door, we hesitated. Hard. It looked like the opening scene of a crime drama. But traffic had been hell, and our stomachs won. We pressed on--and we're glad we did. The Pollo Loco was downright delicious: a juicy, thinly smashed chicken breast grilled just right, blanketed in melty cheese and topped with slices of perfectly ripe avocado. I was licking my fork, trying to pretend I had table manners. The refried beans got my attention: "Wait... did they do something special to these?" I seriously considered ordering a pint to go. L devoured his Tacos Barbacoa Salazar and washed it down with a mango margarita, giving both an enthusiastic double thumbs-up. The service was friendly, chill, no-nonsense--just what you want when you've been in a car for hours on the verge of becoming feral. Would 100% stop again. Ignore the door. Trust your gut. This place is a hidden gem.
