My favorite experience is seeing zach(white guy in the black shirt, most likely and wearing glasses) behind the counter grinding as hard as he can everyday. Food is very poorly made, chow mein can be rough but you gotta stick it out cause zach is out here trying his best and that means you can too with finishing your meal that he grinds so hard for you too eat. read more

Today was my first visit to Panda Express in Mayfield, KY. I like Chinese food, even when it is Americanized beyond recognition. I have dined at every Chinese restaurant in the surrounding area, and the food is always mediocre to really, really bad. I had to be in Mayfield today, so I decided to try Panda Express for a late lunch. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was assaulted with wonderful aromas! Panda Express is a very comfortable, unpretentious restaurant, and they have a buffet that is absolutely huge. The variety was amazing, and well balanced with selections that complimented each other. I sampled the pepper steak (the best I've had outside of New York or San Francisco), honey chicken, general Tso's chicken, pepper chicken, awesome egg rolls and spring rolls, and traditional crab Rangoon that is perfect. I was at the restaurant for approximately 1 hour, after the lunch rush, and one of the cooks checked the buffet ever 10 or 15 minutes to insure freshness and restock. The staff was courteous, cordial, and friendly. I'll be visiting Panda Express often. read more

Of the three times I have tried this place since open, all in differing weeks, I have always had cold food due to the inability to get checked out in a timely manner, and the first time I actually had a piece of the rubber from the hot line in my food. I went through the drive-thru on the way home from work and my receipt read 2:11. The fried rice was still cooking and I was told it would take four minutes and to pull around to the front and they would bring out my food when it was ready. After 20minutes of waiting I went inside to see what was up. No one knew what I was talking about so I gave them receipt and they made my order no problem. The only thing that bothered me besides the 20+ minute wait was the fact that no one even bothered to apologize to me bc it took so long to get food. Other than that the food was good and I will go back and try again but I will skip the drive-thru for sure read more

Ok food and Ok service nothing special here and often times the portions are small. Can't refill your sodas this semester even though you have been able to before. They don't have white rice half of the time and run out of food before they make more. read more

I went here on my lunch break during my classes because I usually love panda, but not this one. First off it took forever to get the food out now I understand there is a bunch of college students trying to get food but don't wait until you run out of something to cook it when you see that you are getting low on something start to cook it that will make it easier on the staff and students. We had to wait around 20 minutes for noodles and something else my friend had to leave because it was taking so long and they didn't want to be late to their class. The staff was rude to the two girls were serving us were okay, but the old lady at the end who we paid was rude to us and was mumbling stuff under her breath and when we asked what she said she got an attitude with us and repeated her self. Also I went back up there to get a refill on our drink and the soda station isn't behind the counter it's off to the side and at a majority of fast food places drinks are refillable I didn't know here they weren't, so the old lady starts yelling at me telling me there are no refills and if I wanted a drink I would have to go back through the line a buy another cup. Overall the staff was terrible and need to work on their customer service and multitasking read more
