This location is always busy. So sometimes, they have to make more food, so you might have to wait. Just like if you went to a sit down restaurant. We have had very good customer service each time we have visited. There have been times we have had to wait for fresh food as they were low and making more of it, and I am perfectly fine with wait to get fresh, hot food. Customers make this place a mess, don't clean up after themselves, make the soda area all full of garbage etc. They just have no care or concern. Employees do their best to keep tables clean, the soda area, outdoor etc but customers are to blame for that not the employees. It's fast paced and some people might not like that, but we have never felt rushed, employees have always been helpful and chatted with us etc. Never had issues of getting sick here, we have always had hot fresh food. read more

Giving this a 2 star solely based on the order wait process. As I stand in the restaurant awaiting an online order that should have been ready. The DoorDash and Uber drivers make it overwhelming, and there is no clear lineup for waiting for your own individual order. This is something they seriously need to fix, so until they do be aware if you order during a possibly busy time. read more

I work at a healthcare facility and I got a call from Panda Express. The young man said they had a catering order that was canceled and he wanted to know if he could bring it to us. I asked how many people the order was for and he said 25. I gladly excepted it. About 15 minutes later he brought in several boxes full of delicious food! We had about 20 people have lunch and there was a lot of food left over. I think the order could have served 100 people! We did tip him but he didn't want to take it. He was a very nice young man. stopped for a quick bite. was couple other people inside and line started building after we came in. props to the workers seemed to be busy and we're all multitasking. i ordered a side of mixed greens and a bowl with chow mein and orange chicken. the chicken was cooked well and had good flavor. the chow mein was also very good. little dry but when mixed with the orange chicken sauce it was fine. the greens were also good. have a good crunch to the whole meal. inside was fine nothing too crazy, food was organized well and couple of tables were cleaned off all the way as well as the food underneath that was left from previous tables. other than that i recommend this location. read more

Until this I hadn't been to Panda Express in 12 years, when the vegetarian options at the time were just plain rice and broccoli. That was my only experience with them until now, and let me tell you something: things have come a long, long way. The new Beyond Orange Chicken is FANTASTIC!!!! I cannot say enough good things about it! The texture, the flavor, literally everything about it blew me away! Tempura fried plant based nuggets with a sauce that's not too sweet and a little bit spicy but not too spicy, and it's just mouth wateringly perfect. An order of these is surprisingly big! One of them turned into multiple meals for me, which was pretty great. My only one complaint about the Beyond Orange Chicken is that it comes with such an up charge, but it's worth it. I really liked the veggie spring rolls! Crispy outside, nice veggie medley inside. The chow mein was great. Really flavorful, lots of different textures going on in here. This is, in my opinion, the best side they have. When I go back (and I will be going back) I will just be getting the chow mein for a side, and the beyond chicken. Both were incredible, and honestly, I could have eaten them until my stomach hurt. I also had the fried rice, which was surprisingly bland? I didn't expect this to be the case. I've never had fried rice from somewhere have such little flavor. It wasn't BAD, it just wasn't anything special, or delicious, or noteworthy? It was a bit of a surprise. I had to put a lot of soy sauce on it for it to be flavorful enough for me. I ordered online and picked up our food to bring it back to the house. The restaurant was super busy, I mean, the parking lot was PACKED, and there was hardly any seating inside, but our order was exactly right, ready a few minutes early, and we were in and out for our pick up without any issues at all! So that's terrific, and exactly the kind of experience anyone doing an online order pick up is looking for. Very happy with how that turned out. Again, I will 100% be returning to Panda Express to repeat this experience, just changing my order a little bit in the future. :D I recommend everyone goes and tries this Beyond Chicken, even if you're an omnivore, just give it a chance and see what you think of it!!! read more

When we pulled up the exterior appeared new and impressive. Entering the restaurant, the trash bins were overflowing, tables hadn't been cleaned. The store was about 25% occupied. Two employees were having their meal sitting right next to the mess of trash and completely ignoring it. There was a wash bucket with gray water and a grubby looking sponge sitting on the counter right next to the flatware and soda machine. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp with chow mein. The noodles were barely warm and very greasy. The shrimp felt as if it had been sitting for hours. It was dry and tough. We also ordered crab Rangoon which was cold. The overall experience was very disappointing, especially since we have eaten at other Panda Express locations that were clean and pleasant with good quality food. read more

First time to try this chain. Fast and reasonably priced Chinese ish take out drive thru place. If this was a full on Chinese restaurant I'd never return, but it's an alternative to burgers or a convenience store. So it's not too bad. The fried rice wasn't very good on any scale. I'll certainly visit in the future another location I would say. Went to Pandas at 8:00, they close at 9:30, so they are open for another 1 1/2 hours, and they say they stop making food at 8:00 so they have no Chow Mein. REALLY!!!! It's that costly for them to wok some noodles and veggies? Which are already cut up in their freezer? HOW SAD IS THAT. What has happened to customer service? I have given this franchise the benefit of the doubt in the past, but now I am totally through with the Janesville location. The vehicle in front of us placed his order and apparently got served. We, on the other hand, sat and sat waiting for someone to take our order. When nobody responded after several minutes, we pulled around so I could walk in and place our order. The doors were locked and the employees were already scrubbing down the cook area and cleaning out the food bins. This was more than a full half hour before the store was scheduled to close. Everytime I go there, they are out of something I want. Last time I wanted to order of their new Wok Seared Shrimp & S and Diet Coke. They were out of all of it. They only had Cherry Coke & Regular Coke. They rarely have napkins and are out of straws quite often. They usually or out of mushroom chicken and sesame chicken. so you will either need to wait 10 minutes or they decided at 3 pm that they weren't going to make anymore the rest of the day. read more

When Panda Express is on, the food is four-star as far as fast food Chinese food goes. My boyfriend and his best friend came to love Panda Express as teenagers, and it's tradition for them to get it on their way back from visits to Chicago. I've been brought in on the ritual and have visited this PE a few different times over the last year and a half. The first two visits yielded some fatty/chewy chicken bits which really put me off, but my last visit (and a stop in an airport this winter) have shown me that it can be really tasty and satisfy that craving for deep-fried chicken chunks glazed in a sweet sauce. This location could really be helped by putting a little more focus into cleaning. The bathroom has been unusable on a couple of occasions due to a clogged and/or dirty toilet, and the tables could use a good wipe down between customers. Keeping the food line stocked and having multiple people there to serve has improved since my first visit, but it has been problematic in the past - even when nowhere near close they've had several empty entree choices and only one person dishing up food for a line of customers. As with a lot of fast food joints high turnover leads to unpredictable service and preparation, but I'm glad to see they're on the upswing. read more

They ignored us when we walked in and we didn't get served until we said something, there was a soda pop pond in front of the register that no one was cleaning up, there was no ice, no iced tea, the tables were dirty. Worst customer service! I ordered walnut shrimp with noodles in the drive thru and wanted teriyaki sauce on the noodles. The guy asked me if I wanted the sauce on the chicken. I told him I don't want chicken I want shrimp and he replies oh yeah, there is an extra charge for the shrimp and I told him no problem. I get home and find a teriyaki chicken bowl, no shrimp. I called and the first person asked me what I wanted and I started to tell them my order was made wrong and the call was disconnected!! I am sad to say that for the third time I am disappointed in the service I have received. Me and my family have food allergies in which we like to observe our food being prepared. I went into the lobby and an employee open the door for me (which was very kind). When I got to the counter I was told I must go through the drive-through because they were busy. Now, I work in fast food as well. Even if we are busy or understaffed this is an unacceptable reason to close the lobby early. Especially at 5 o'clock. Even though I explained the reason of why I came into the lobby I was told to come through the drive-through. When I got my order through the drive-through I explain to the young lady who was at the window and she got her manager. The shift supervisor whose name is Violet(?) was extremely rude and condescending. I drove all the way from Baraboo which is an hour and a half away. This is extremely unacceptable. Inside was closed, so drive thru was extremely busy. The employees that were there did a wonderful job with pushing through and getting orders out. The lady taking my order seemed quite nice while on the speaker, but was not when we got to the window. I had ordered some soy sauce with the meals at the speaker, and there was none in the bag. We asked for some and the lady got rude, rolled her eyes and gave 2 small packets, closed the window on us and walked away from the window. Tried taking the survey and it said the site was invalid. After making me wait for 20 minutes for my drive thru order..part of the order was missing (2 sides I had added) and when I call about it, the manager Anya or something like that, doesn't apologize just says if I have my receipt they will credit me next time for the sides. Well what about now??? Her attitude was mean like I was stealing but they are stealing from me. I have the receipt but am not well which is why I chose to get fast food.
