I used to order from this place more regularly, but the last few times the food has been terrible. Today I ordered sweet & sour chicken, chicken fried rice, and crab rangoon. Rangoon & fried rice not bad. The sweet & sour chicken was TERRIBLE. I got a large order and there were maybe 4 pieces larger than a quarter. I'm new to Janesville and have been looking for a go-to Chinese place, and this is it! We ordered a bunch in order to try a lot of things, everything was good to great. The fried rice and lo Mein were excellent! Fried dumplings, crab Rangoon, wontons, and chicken wings were also really good! I didn't have one but my sister said the shrimp egg roll was good too. Good People. Good Service. I usually go to Madison when i want to eat good food. But when i want to stay local this place is my go to. Price is right and portions are large. The Lo mein, beef garlic, sweet and sour soup and shrimp toast are all my favorites. Orders are made quickly and accurately. If I could give it a zero, I would. I ordered the General Tso with fried rice. Three bites in and I tossed the rest. The fried rice looked like it had sat out for hours. The chicken, while hot, tasted horrible. I've had General Tso at other places and what I had today tasted nothing like it. I do NOT recommend this place. read more

Terrible and rude service. Placed an online order from their website. No time provided on when it would be ready and no notice that food was ready. Called 30 minutes later. Took my number and said they would call back. No call back after 15 minutes. Called again and told them I placed the order almost an hour ago, called 15 minutes earlier and was told I'd get a call back but did not. The lady tells me the food was ready 15 minutes after the order was placed and she couldn't find my order when I called the 1st time but it's been ready. No apology for not returning my call. Started yelling at me telling me to either come pick up the food that's been sitting for 45 minutes or cancel my order. I cancelled and hung up as she continued to yell. It was OK, but I had not desire to finish my leftovers. I had the sesame chicken and an egg roll. The egg roll was not great. The sesame chicken was super sweet and caked in a bbq like sauce. The restaurant was filthy, too! Won't be back. read more

Janesville doesn't really have any quality restaurants and Chinese has no exceptions. Someone told me this is the place to go and, well, he might be right at some point. Today was not one of those days, the pad Thai looked like someone ate pad Thai and threw it up. There was nothing pleasant to look at, no color, just chopped up noodles, chicken, cabbage, and onions. The flavor wasn't bad but if this is what they call pad Thai than I'm not so inclined to try much else. Where's the peanuts? Lime wedge? Bean sprouts? Not here. Best Chinese in Janesville. (Not hard to do, Janesville is kind of a Chinese food desert). The food is pretty good, the prices are great. It's not pretty, but there's no BS. You don't need table cloths and cloth napkins, etc. Funny story: I was in line there one time and this hillbilly in front of me was getting upset with the cashier saying, "He's in 'Merica...he oughta speak 'Merican!" He said it as an aside, and kind loud enough that he meant for me to hear it. I looked at him strangely. The cashier was taking an order on the phone, (speaking Spanish), later talking to the kitchen staff in Mandrin, and ringing people up in English with only a slight accent. Best Chinese in Janesville (and Lodi, WI)! My husband and I only order take out from this restaurant because everything is good. Our favorite is Pork and Broccoli, but we have tried and liked many different dishes. When we order food from here we always get an order of Crab Rangoon because they make the best! read more

WOW. We are from out of town, and my wife was craving Chinese food. This little place was in the same shopping center, so we decided to give it a try. We didn't expect much ... But we got a ton. The service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. It was probably the best Garlic Shrimp I've ever had. We will be back. Simply wonderful!! read more

really can't find any fault with this place. especially if you are taking your food home like most people do. otherwise, they have a tiny dining area with 3 tables that are usually a bit sticky. but the food itself is consistently the best I've had since I moved to this area of town a few years ago. every dish that we like, we like it from here better than any other place. best hot and sour soup, too. read more

The Hunan Shrimp & Garlic Shrimp are great. The problem is that they make mistakes on orders a lot. I've had problems the last three times. First time , I went to pick up order & they gave me someone else's order. Second time , I arrived & they couldn't find my order. I had to wait around 20 minutes to get my order. Third time , person taking order punched in wrong item & again I had to wait 20 minutes to get right dish. They did give me $5.00 coupon twice. Their food is amazing. Everything is made fresh in site. I really enjoy ordering takeout from here. The reason for my 1 Star is the filth of the restaurant. The deep fryer is located closer to the front door than anything else in the kitchen and omg if you peak behind it I've never seen anything nastier. This restaurant deserves to be shut down just due to the quality of cleanliness. I've been getting egg rolls for years from this place I absolutely love them. But I swear every time I look at that fryer I puke in my mouth a bit. I really wish the owner would fork out the money to have a company come in and steam clean the whole fucking place. That should be standard practice anyways. Food quality 5 star restaurant quality not even 1 Star!!!! Pull your equipment away from wall and scrub all that shit behind your fryer!!! I am allergic to shrimp and ordered pork lo mein. They gave me lo mein with shrimp in it when I called them to try to get this taken care of to refund my money they said they could not do that. I live on the other side of town and did not feel like driving all the way back over there just to return their food. It seems to me that they should have been able to take care this.
