Got food here yesterday. 5/1/24 Placed online order, was scheduled for 430. Walked in at 410 to use restroom. I had placed my order there at 350 keep in mind walked in saw a box sitting there ready to go. Wasnt aware that was mine. Shortly at around 425 I went to ask what time my order was ready. They said yes. It was packaged at around 4. Well low and behold; the food wasnt hot, got food poisoning from this place. Beware and dont do takeout. This place doesnt acknowledge the fact the F'd up. The food was raw and not properly cooked. On top of that, never reached proper temps. I would go elsewhere. Where they seem happy to help and serve their customers. read more

I came today with my family being served was slow the girl who attended us didn't look happy or seemed to really pay attention it made me seem like I was being ignored its 2:23pm by now they have 3 people working oh so it seems also I don't see that it's busy enough to not take care of the dining area tables are extremely dirty and floors they didn't have enough food cooked and soda machine isn't working as in no ice i cannot stress it enough to say the least I'm extremely unhappy with the service overall i wouldn't recommend this Panda Express at all.... read more

It's 5:34 PM on a Thursday and I just stopped at the panda express location in Kearney, Nebraska and half the food items were not available because the cooks left at 4:45 PM, so only few entries were available and they didn't seem to really care if they had enough food or not. I am very disappointed in the service at this panda express location. read more

Everything was very good as well as the service.everything was so good it was so delicious.

Ordered online at 7:36 requesting a pickup time of 7:45 but that was too soon for my order to be completed so next option was 8:00. Husband arrived at 7:50 and staff was all sitting around with no idea we had an order paid for. At 8:00 my order popped up for them to prepare and my husband picked it up and came home. My Honey Walnut Shrimp tasted good but had 1/8th of a piece of walnut in my serving. I have never had bad Chow Mein until tonight. There was absolutely no flavor to it at all. The Broccoli Beef was ok. Cream Cheese wontons were greasy and inedible. The honey walnut shrimp was surprisingly good though. I usually give positive yelp reviews but could not find much to be positive about with this establishment. read more

In this crazy time, I commend these people. We went through for dinner tonight. This is the first time we have been out in a long time. While working on my dads vinyl for his boat seats, I lost track of time, so I thought we'd just swing through. I have a large family, and I'm sure my order alone was enough to overwhelm the most seasoned worker. Got all the way home, and BUMMER, my food was missing. I called, not to complain, just to make them aware that I would be coming back up to retrieve it. They apologized for the inconvenience, and gave me an appetizer to make up for it. Food: As expected for any Panda Express, the food is predictable and pretty good but neither great nor authentic. Served in polystyrene containers with nary a chopstick in sight. Prices: fair for fast food, but high compared to hole-in-the-wall Chinese joints. You'll pay around $10 for a meal. Hygiene: clean food prep area that you can see. No waste receptacle in men's room. Hard to access restrooms for hand washing before going through the food line. "Clean" tables were sticky on my visit. Building: Pretty good handicap accessibility. Seating is mostly long bench seats-great for groups but awkward for solo diners if it's busy. read more

While ordering at the drive through they had to list off everything they didn't have ready, which has happened every single time I've went there so I'm used to it. I generally like Panda Express restaurants (with franchises you expect and generally get a consistent experience and taste). The Panda Express in Kearney, NE was not typical of my previous experiences. The lobby was dirty and most of the tables needed cleaning, however at 1:05 pm, this could be forgiven as the lunch rush might have been brutal. I ordered the plate with Shanghai Angus Beef, chicken with green beans and fried rice. For some unexplained reason I was told to pay at the register and it would be six minutes. Generally, they ladle it onto a plate then you pay and carry your tray to an empty table. Nonetheless, I am an easygoing guy and I was also hungry. As I waited I watched a sullen cook knock her utensils on the floor bend over pick them up, look around and continue cooking with the recovered utensils (I'm fairly certain that isn't very hygienic there might even be some sort of rule against it). Having already paid and still being hungry, I waited. When my food arrived I was disappointed in my decision to wait. The beef a "premium" product with an additional charge was very salty, the brown sauce gritty and I do not exaggerate lacked any chunks of meat, just green beans and mushrooms. The fried rice was bland, dry and crunchy when I was expecting soft, moist and savory. My previous experiences at various Panda Express locations around the country demonstrate that my experience in Kearney isn't typical. However, I strongly recommend that if you are in Kearney, NE that you eat somewhere else. read more

So disappointed in this Panda Express. I have repeatedly tried to give them a chance with their service but every time I go it's so horrible. They have forgotten my cream cheese rangoons before and I went back and they wouldn't give them to me, they have forgotten my broccoli beef before. But tonight was the last straw and I won't be going to this one for quite a while. I got off of work and rushed as fast as I could to go get food. And they were closing soon and they didn't have any of the options I wanted. And what I ordered they ran out of as soon as We got to the window. They offered us 20% off and we didn't get it. Went here because of good reviews. Wasn't bad but I would have to say it is the mickey D's of Chinese food. My wife and I had the "plate" rice and two entrees, two small teas. Egg rolls and appetizers were extra. Soy sauce in a package. Could have gone to Hunans for that and dished up our own food. Still had plenty but don't care for fast food. read more

One of the few places in Kearney where you can get fast food with the option of fresh, steamed veggies. A healthy alternative to the other fast food in town, provided you actually order the veggies. When I went there late, they were out the them as a side, but the girls helping me asked the chef to cook some up right away, even though it was late and it's not the most popular side. I think the employee who helped me was Veronica. Very friendly and cheery. It's very refreshing to have such courteous service! read more

Not very good. Ice tea tastes funny, broccoli was old. Would not recommend. The only good thing was it was clean.

I went in yesterday and got a plate, let me just say the old staff is way better. The food was horrible and the sad thing was it came out fresh. The rice was more than both my portions which would of been great if it didn't taste like sand. One bite and I literally threw it up. The broccoli was way over done and mushy didn't taste like there was any sauce. I love Panda Express but after that visit. Defiantly not. I asked for teriyaki sauce more than once and they proceded to give the guest after me the sauce and then tell me I'd have to wait. I was in a rush so no time to wait. The only friendly person that had a smile on their face was the kind blonde hair girl in the drive thru. Everyone else. Just looked like they didn't want to be there. I've ate at Panda Express more times then I could think. And let me just say please bring back your old cooks and staff! You would be doing all of us a favor. read more

I love Panda Express! At this location that is new in Kearney the food is great! Problem we've had is no clean tables both times we've been there... They don't seem to come out and clean the lobby, the floors were also a bit icky last time we were there. We had to clean our own table with try napkins, not fun.... On our last visit they did not have ice and pop was lukewarm ... Mentioned it to one of the employees and she just smiled and said they were aware but nothing was done or they did not offer to bring us ice from the kitchen area . ???? Baffled... Maybe the employees need trained on this issue... Otherwise food is like all other PE. Just disappointed in cleanliness . HOPE they improve :( read more

This is a newer restaurant in Kearney, and I have eaten here a few times. The last time I had it to-go, and when I went to eat it, my sweet and sour chicken was very cold and stale. I wasn't impressed. We also ordered an orange-chicken bowl too, it was bad too, and actually caused food-poisoning in our family.
