The worst panda I have ever been to! Counter lady was arguing with a customer over a price, fairly rude about it with her tone and attitude but then again, it is Memphis and it seems to be acceptable to treat people like sh*t here. Majority of the food items were low, same last never called back to have 3 items made along with the rest of which was running low. I'm a bit disappointed. The staff appeared overwhelmed and the selection trays were mislabeled, empty and they were out of beef. They had no signage indicating any of those short comings. What's disappointing is that we drove an extra distance because this location usually has better quality overall. Sadly not this time. And worse, no one seemed to care. I recently moved from Vegas where there's a Panda Express in just about every neighborhood, while in Memphis there are only three so far. The concept is great, delicious fresh Chinese food served fast, yet not your typical fast food. My two favorites are Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken. This location is very nice, it even has patio seating. The food was fresh, the Chow Mein could have been better, but overall good experience. read more

TERRIBLE DONT GO HERE!! The food was hard and dry like it had been sitting out for hours. They also left a list of things off of our plates, we didn't get half of what we even paid for. We ordered through uber and it didn't take long to get at all so I know uber isn't the problem on why the food was dry. This is just another damn Panda Express. It's the same as all of the others. The strange thing is that this one, oddly, doesn't have a drive thru attached. Also, I didn't see a Walmart in sight, at all... The food was forgettable at best, but it's what I expected at PE. I even waited and stalked the service line for the freshest food. Online order will not help you get your order faster. It will in fact be slower. Because you will have to wait until the line is over before you're able to ask about your online order in which their response will almost always be "the order doesn't always pop up on the screen" in which they will have to wait until they are done with their current line until they can fulfill your order. In my case this added an extra 20mins of waiting from which my original order was supposed to be picked up. At least the food was good... read more

Poor hygiene from the girl with the hijab. Bad attitude for no reason. Purposefully contaminated the outside of the gloves after I requested her to use them. And mocked me in my face to her coworker who imitated a person of authority in the restaurant. Needless to say I did not buy anything and will call the manager to let him know. read more

This properly my favorite Panda Express in town. The people here are nice, give me anything I wanted to try, give good amount of food. The chef doesn't make the food as salty like other location. Restaurant clean and neat. Good place to bring like a friend or family for a quick dinner. Would recommended to come and give it a try. read more

I placed my order approximately an hour before the hours that the location in Memphis, TN on Poplar and Ridgeway. My order was confirmed via email at 08:43. The hours stated the store closed at 09:30. When I arrived at 08:50 the main entrance was looked and was informed that they store was closed after my order total of $22.55 was deducted from my account. The store employees made no attempt to resolve the matter and told me that since all the food was already disposed of that my order could not be fulfilled. I am absolutely appalled by the complete dismissal from the staff and would like a refund. In this situation honestly I feel like I should get an additional credit of some kind since I had placed a carry out order and drove to the location which was supposed to be still serving customers. read more

Came in to get food at 5:15 PM. We order two bigger plates. The first was a honey sesame, orange chicken, and honey walnut shrimp. The second order was double honey sesame and orange chicken. The first bigger plate was completed, but the second bigger plate had to wait on honey sesame chicken as the first had finished off what chicken was ready. We also ordered an extra side of mushroom chicken and cheese rangoons. Both of which also had to be waited for. The honey sesame chicken came out about 5 minutes after checkout at 5:21. I had to order one more plate after checking out. This had honey sesame and orange chicken. This was immediately fulfilled. I noticed the worker that I needed my other plate to be filled with the honey sesame as I had been waiting on it. She immediately said okay and then asked the customer behind me in line what he would like to order. I checked out this plate at 5:30 and continued to watch the worker fill plates with honey sesame chicken that I had been waiting for on customers that were walking in the door. At 5:36, 15 minutes after my original order, I asked for a manager at the front and was told that there was no manager there. When asked about the issue that I am having, I let the worker know that I have been waiting almost 20 minutes for food that is sitting out. A young African American worker around 6'4 280 lbs was questioning me about the food. At this point I've told three workers that I am waiting on the honey sesame chicken for my order but they continue to ignore me, even when no one is in line. They had almost completely served all of the honey sesame chicken that I had been waiting for, and I would likely have to wait AGAIN as I had a double order on my bigger plate. The worker starts to question my intelligence by saying that I had only been waiting for MAYBE 10 minutes at most. The time at this point was 5:39, so we were edging on 20 minutes. I told him that his math is not correct whatsoever. I tell them I just want a refund at this point for the food. The worker walks back and begins mumbling under his breath calling me a bitch. He then stands in an inlet in the wall staring me down, trying to intimidate me. After about 3 minutes of him doing this, I ask what his problem is and to stop staring me down. He then calls me a little bitch to my face in a threatening manner and continues to stare me down. I then tell him that I am not afraid of him and he bowed up on me. The cashier finally refunded me and as I was walking out of the restaurant, the worker continued to say things about me. As a 60 year old man, I feared for my own safety in the restaurant. I have been a loyal customer of this location since their opening as well as a loyal customer of all chains of Panda Express in the Memphis area. After this, I doubt I will ever return because of this threatening experience. I believe the worker to be an issue to the franchise as it seems it will only be a matter of time before he snaps and attacks a customer, as I felt he was going to jump over the counter and try to fight me. Yes! I'm so glad that there is a Panda Express closer to us Midtowners now. Could be closer, but hey, it's the small victories. I don't have to drive to to Bartlett anymore for my Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. If you've never been to Panda, it's basically a fast-food, Chinese restaurant where you assemble your entree as you move down the line. I love it. One of the biggest redeeming factors for me is the price/quality/quantity ratio. It's 6.90 for a two entree meal and I am always satisfied afterwards. Some items are a little extra (like my Honey Walnut Shrimp for instance), but there are enough options to keep me happy. read more

We were told that they were out of one thing we ordered and we were also told they had forgotten to tell us when we checked in. I told them that I didn't want to replace it with anything. After about 5 more minutes we were told they were out of everything that we ordered except for one order of rice. It's about as clean and friendly as you can get here. I came in on a slow Wednesday evening and no one sighed. No one made me feel like I was a burden on their night. Just happy happy people even going so far as to offer me samples before I committed to my meal. The food is your average Panda Express food. Not outstanding, but also reliably good. I love the choices and the way the menu is laid out. There must be geniuses behind the menu concept and streamlining because no other fast food concept has it this together. While I ate, I noticed everyone in the open kitchen scrubbing the vents and cleaning what already looked like an impeccably clean kitchen. My husband loves this place. Food and service are great. Prices are reasonable. Clean restaurant and friendly atmosphere. Excellent variety to choose from and they ask if you want to sample something on the menu. I love the Chicken Egg rolls. They are so good. Great place to dine in or carry out. Family oriented.
