I stood there when some young man at start of the line where the rice and noodle dishes are at the start of the line just wandered away to chat with someone at the drive-thru. I was not the only person in line as there was a guy behind me looking bewildered as well as this kid just left. The Asian lady employee -- not a teenager -- took over eventually as the dude just flaked and vanished after being at the window with some guy. The young woman at the register felt compelled to butt into the order the other lady was already making to tell me there were peanuts in the Kung Pao. Who doesn't know there are peanuts in Kung Pao? Not only that, but there are clearly peanuts visible. She is so eager to interrupt my order to state the obvious but not actually cook or take orders!? Where was her energy when there were two of us waiting for someone to actual acknowledge us at the start of the line?! Most of the entrees were old/out at 3:16 PM. The tables are never clean here, but I am used to that at this location. The young kids that work here seem to be all permanently out to lunch. The only time things run well are when the Asian ladies do it, which is to say if anyone under 25 is working, good luck! Also, the mushroom chicken tasted awful this visit. Inedible. Went right in the garbage. I ate old Beijing beef and the kung pao and the fried rice and neither was great -- the beef clearly old -- but there were so many entrees out that it was either wait or get something else. Been a while since I've reviewed this location. I will say, as like the others have commented, they are constantly out of product to serve. Sometimes I'll wait for them to cook it but today , I walked in and half the serving bowls in the window were empty (or had a spoonful left). Every freaking time I come to the Prince Frederick location they are never stocked In product to serve. It's not because they are super busy either. Today , 2 cars in lot and 3 in drive through. Inside, 1 cook (nothing in progress), 1 working the drive through, 1 working the line and 1 manager looking clueless. When I saw nothing being cooked, that did it for me, I walked out and went elsewhere to spend my money and eat. Management get your act together! Hire people, learn to multitask etc. This is ridiculous after being open several years now. read more

This was a disappointing visit for this to be a brand new restaurant. I used the drive thru & ordered a 2 plate entree of Kung Pao chicken & steak. When I pulled off & opened my container, it didn't look like they put enough food in there for 1 serving. There's an up charge for steak and they ripped me off! My fried rice was not cooked properly. It was undercooked and disgusting! The chicken $ steak tasted weird, so I was scared to eat it & threw the entire meal away. If I wasn't already late for a meeting, I would've turned around & went back for a refund. I drove to Jersey Mike's in Dunkirk for a sub. I will never eat at this Panda Express again or recommend it to others. Go up the road to PG County & hire better cooks!!! read more

Had I known that, I would not have gotten any food here. I do not like eating food in my car. There should've been a sign on the door saying takeout only. We don't do apps or drive thru. So we ordered at the door. Good came quickly. I had walnut shrimp which I paid extra for and got no walnuts. That's minor. I got sweet fire chicken. Well all I got was ten chunks of pineapple, peepers,onions and 4 tiny chunks of chicken. Looked like it was dropped as everything was on one side. I should have take. My daughter loves Panda Express and had them prepare food for her wedding this weekend. The manager was so gracious and helpful and even when they experienced a nationwide shortage of an item my daughter has selected, the manager made it right by offering alternatives and extras. I have been to this new location twice since the grand opening. The first time I went was ok. The second time was disappointing. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp, which is my go to and super greens. The shrimp was not crispy or fresh, it was very mushy and bland. The super greens had absolutely no taste whatsoever. I ordered the plate , which I normally don't do and ended up throwing half of it away. I usually go to the location in Ritchie Station in upper Marlboro, but when I heard they were coming to my neighborhood I was so excited. I won't be back for awhile, will give them a chance to get the recipes down or get better cooks. read more

Management is responsive in getting online orders that we're messed up fixed. The food is okay not the greatest but good. But the customer service here is absolutely amazing!! Every time I come in I'm greeted with a welcome panda and what I imagine are happy faces below the masks!! Everyone here has a great personality and they all seem like good workers! Having had hundreds of meals from Panda Express of really good food, I was amazed at the low quaility and minuscule portions of a two combo platter. Ordered a side of fried rice, got a 3/4 full pint and several rice balls in the bottom. Not a great start for a new restaurant. If I could give zero stars I would. read more
