If I could give a no stars I would. The food was subpar at best but worst of all we found a metal hook in the shrimp egg roll. When we called to inform the manager they asked us to bring the metal to the store but finally accepted a photo. They offered only to refund the price of the egg roll after a back and forth argument over text. I would highly recommend staying away from this place!

New China is our go to Chinese restaurant to order carry out/delivery from. Quantity has always been generous, our orders always arrive hot and all the food has great flavor. The steak and cheese is one of our favorites and is very filling as well as the cheeseburger. It's a great alternative if you aren't in the mood for Chinese food. The fries are hit or miss sadly. Sometimes they have a very old grease flavor or are way overly salted. Occasionally we have had very greasy pork fried rice with undercooked onion and a few times the sweet and sour chicken was dry and fibrous. But other than that, for the most part, the food has been good with no complaints. They are very quick with delivery and all the staff from ordering to delivery are kind and friendly. I included the most recent menu in this review because the prices have gone up considerably (just like everything else-no blame on them sadly it's the economy these days) so others are informed about the current prices.

Go To Chinese spot. The lady who runs it is super friendly. They are one of the few Chinese restaurants who understand The difference between Extra and VERY spicy. Their Steak and cheese sub is also legendary. Go get you some! read more

After 3 the lunch special stops. I called at 3:00 dude answered 3:01, I was unable to get the lunch special that I normally get. I thought it was quite petty considering we spend so much money at the establishment. I really liked their food and delivery. I was just in a crunch today and it kinda pissed me off when I looked at the clock. smh read more

Ordered over the phone on 7/17/25. It was easy to place an order, the food was ready quickly, the takeout staff were very nice, the food was hot and delicious. It was our first time visiting and we will be back. The restaurant appeared to be takeout only. read more

I am giving this place 1 Star not because of the food because it has been ok but for customer service. I noticed before that if you order a steak n cheese they automatically give you the whole in order to charge more. I forgot today and I purposely ordered a half steak n cheese and just said an order of fries and off course they gave me a large fry. Once I got my total I didn't think to ask why it seemed a little high. But once I received my delivery I noticed on the receipt there was a $4 gas fee. Now I wouldn't have a problem if I had know there was a deliver fee but I wasn't told this nor is it on the menu. The menu just states that there is a minimum delivery of $15. I don't mind paying but I don't like it when it feels like establishments aren't being honest and in my opinion they aren't. read more

Our go to for Chinese food, and for subs. Easily some of the best Chinese dishes in the area, including the best teriyaki beef sticks I've ever had. When ordering delivery, the drivers are really good about letting you know when they'll be at you house. They can get pretty busy, but I've never had cold food or an incorrect order from here. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! The food will make you sick and they will screw you out of money. They messed up my $50.00 so bad that they couldn't even get the duck sauce, hot mustard, and hot sauce ( which I had ordered extra) into the bag. Our whole order was messed up! We order general Tao chicken spicy. Got sweet orange chicken and the manager argued with me about how it should taste, like they are the only Chinese place in Charlotte Hall. Needles to say a $50.00 order was wasted and I got nothing in return but the pleasure of having to drive all the way to that crap hole so I can recoup a coupon for $10.00 off my next purchase. Oh and being very ill with my fiancé . I begged to be refunded but no I get a lousy future credit to a place I never plan to eat in again! Talk about the worst customer service ever, or just non-existent customer service! Also don't forget that we all got sick from eating this poor excuse for food! I was going to use my discounted meal and give it away but I can't even do that because I don't want to hurt anyone. I repeat these people are unscrupulous and have no concern about right from wrong, DO NOT EAT HERE! read more

Totally thumbs up. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the St Mary's local area. They have wonderful help and management, and they always remember what type of food we ordered and want. And yours convenient in Charlotte Hall and you can eat in or out. You can also read the county times while you wait and take a copy with you. It is family run so you know who to expect to fix your food. read more

I (so far) have had the Singapore rice noodles (which actually do vary a lot, just at this store), the black pepper chicken, beef and broccoli, egg drop soup (probably gallons worth), the pink lady sushi, the spicy yellowtail sushi and some others I can't remember, the seaweed salad, eggs rolls and without looking at a menu is pretty much what I rotate through, consistently. My family has tried a lot more and we usually go together on the way home from the beach, when it's cold and rainy or just when the feeling hits. My husband only once has not liked his order, but has since before and after never had an issue. The service: they ALWAYS answer quickly, and take my order accurately. I've literally never gotten exactly what I asked for. The folks who answer the phone are direct and no BS. I loveeeee this. No angsty teenager rolling their eyes through the phone here! It looks like the location may have closed the majority of the seating areas down (perhaps it was open pre pandemic?). The store itself now only has a few tables, and you can dine-in. If you're on the go with a small family and want to stop in, this is super convenient, but don't bring a big group. There might be 15-20 chairs in total. As for the food itself, crispity, crunchity, creamy, sweet, salty...it has everything. It is all fresh tasting and perhaps even cooked to order (seemingly). They have to being doing MAD business because I've never even seen people at the other Chinese restaurants in the area (and to the two I've been in, I'll never go back), meanwhile there is always a line waiting to pick up their orders. The food here tastes exactly the way you imagine it in your head when you get the instant cravings! The sushi is incredible and extremely reasonably priced. Same for the meals. The portion sizes are huge. I can eat on one dinner for 3-4 sittings! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. (And always forget to take photos because I'm always too busy EATING!)
