A large order of crab Rangoon and when we rode through the drive thru and I said I was picking up my order she said come to the window please. I get to the window and she says we don't have any crab Rangoon would you like to replace it with something else? Now I'm frustrated and disappointed, so I tell her no and that I would just like a refund only for the manager to print out a receipt for me to call a number for my refund! At that point I just gave in and said no I'm not doing all of that and took a bunch of egg rolls... The egg rolls were better than I expected but still not what we wanted... While in line, I asked to try the lo mein (was thinking of breaking out from fried rice), gal in line says, "we do not give samples". Cool. Fair enough. I get some orange chicken and fried rice. I grab the peace lychee drink, it's pretty good. The food wasn't great. Kind of confusing how you screw up frozen food being reheated, but this place managed it. Leaving the store, go to get a refill, lady told me "we don't do refills". Okay. Less cool. I asked where on their menu or sign does it say you can't get refills of that particular drink, and she said, "it doesn't matter. That's our policy" which, fair enough, but you should tell your customers that. To which she said, "not my problem". You can either have poor service, terrible food, or expensive food, but not all three. read more

Firstly, the drive thru wait time is horrendous. You will be sitting there for 10 plus minutes per car just for you to get to the box and have them ask you to wait longer (or you have the stupid ai order taker). Then when you do order they're always out of white rice. Not that they're making more, that they're just out. How the hell can you be out the cheapest ingredient there is? The drinks were mostly out and what I ordered was cold. I can't imagine they have a sanitation rating of what I am used to at any other Panda Express. I do not recommend this location. If I could this place a 0 star I would. I ordered online an as I was driving to pick up the food it said it was Ready for pickup. WRONG!!! my order was not made, they actually didn't have any orange chicken or Lo mein an told me they where not making anymore for the rest of the day (they told me this at 6pm, right during dinner hour) so Never coming back. Went inside to order at 4:45 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Two people working and long line. Waited about 10 for someone to wait on me. I asked about Chow Mein noodles and beef broccoli. My husband and I stopped here for a drive through take out. Long line. 7:30 pm. They close at 8. When we finally get to the order screen we were told that they are not making anymore fresh foods and what they left is what they are selling. I really want to like this place. I've been to this location quite a few times, but unfortunately nothing on their menu really sets them apart. While the food is okay, the service itself from the staff was better. Based on my own personal experiences, I would say that they were almost as friendly as the folks at Chic-Fil-A (which is a compliment). However, I have to say that while the food portions were smaller than I expected, in my opinion they were also a bit over priced. I've tried a few different things on the menu and they were all good, don't get me wrong - I just felt like I could've gotten so much more for my money, somewhere else. While I love the convenience of ordering through the drive through, it would be safe to say, that you'd save more money and get more food by ordering your Asian cuisine the traditional way; via the non-chain local shops. I wouldn't totally rule this place out though. I'm determined to find something on their menu, that makes me want to say "wow". read more

Why on earth is this location rated so low?? First off, let's be real, Panda is not Chinese food, if you're looking for real/fancy/authentic Chinese food, trust me it's out there... just probably not served through a drive through window. I came to this location out of desperation. I was starving and lazy and didn't want to get out of my car. There was no wait. The girl working the window was possibly the most polite drive through operator. When I got my food it was packaged up so nicely! Seriously, genuine work went into this! They gave me a small kids cup or water cup, which they put my two sauces in, probably so they didn't bust open in the bag? My fork was nicely wrapped in a napkin and placed into a small wax paper bag with my fortune cookie (which was completely inaccurate by the way). The food was cooked well, my Dr Pepper was much needed. Again, this is just fast food! But let's give credit where credit is due! Extremely slow service. Drive thru screen doesn't work. No idea if your order is correct or not

Panda Express... where to begin. MY first encounter with Panda was at a shopping mall food court way back in the day, as I'm sure most of you have seen them in food courts around the country. But in recent years, I have seen them pop up as standalone stores. My initial impression of them was that this is just another fast food type place. But after visiting a few times, I have come to love Panda, and it is now one of my go-to places for a meal. I mean, as far as bang for your buck goes, Panda really is hard to beat. I usually get the "plate" which has rice (or chow mein) and 2 entrees, and its only like $8. And they usually load you up with the entrees, so it's normally more than I can eat in one sitting. The orange chicken seems to be their most popular dish, and it is good. But my personal favorite is the teriyaki chicken, and I get the sauce on the side to dip the chicken in. This is by far the best value of their selections, as you typically get the equivalent of 2 small chicken breasts. Some others I like are the Shanghai Angus Steak, and the Sweetfire Chicken. TL:DR - Good food, lots of it, low price. read more

It is disappointing seeing that they are fairly close to the airport. Came here maybe twice within the span of three to four weeks. Both times they messed up my order. Not simple errors like oh, I asked for sauce and received none or maybe they didn't add the chopsticks that I asked for. Which might I add has happened. But no they end up leaving out entire plates and sides. I try to go inside to resolve the problem but the door is locked. My only option being leaving without my food which I already paid for or getting back in line and waiting 30 minutes in their slow drive through to complain. Their staff also isn't the friendliest which I could forgive. I myself spent a great deal of time working in a restaurant. But it really isn't that hard to put on a fake smile, or hell, a normal tone of voice and apologize for your mistake. Ok so i dont know of it is bad luck or miscommunication somewhere but then i dont see how that is possible when i was CHARGED FOR IT TODAY i decided to go so i decided to grab my kid something. I got him the kids meal with chicken egg roll plus did a donation. I DID NOT get the chicken egg roll no soy sauce sweet and sour. I didnt look in the bag until i got home but i feel like its your job to get my order right if im paying for it. Welp idk whats going on there but I definitely couldn't go back had dinner reservations in an hour. Previous review (7 months ago) Horrible. If i could give 1 star i would i have literally came here everyday since last Tuesday EXACTLY a week straight. They never have any sweet fire chicken always out or its a 8 minute wait and they dont tell u that until u get to the window. I thought the other reviews were joking. I'm in my fifteenth minute in the "drive thru" and can see that it is indeed an issue. I'm here at a non peak hour and there are currently 3 cars all waiting on food. Recommend not bothering as a full 1/2 or more of your lunch hour will be wasted waiting on food that should already be cooked and ready to go. I ordered Teriyaki chicken with sauce. It came without. My son likes hot food and had the Kung Pao Chicken. He was throwing up because it was so hot. It took him 10 minutes drinking water and milk to stop the pain. This is ridiculous! We live in North St. Charles and were looking forward to having a great meal at home. I ordered the 3 entree big plate. I got double firecracker shrimp, chicken and green beans with chow mein. I was notified that I would be charged $1.25 extra for the firecracker shrimp, which I wasn't aware of from previous visits to other Panda Express. The next notable thing was the amount of food I received. Just enough chow mein to cover the largest compartment and just enough firecracker shrimp to cover the bottom of the other 2 compartments. Once I got to the register, I inquired about the amount of food as well as the upcharge. I assumed it was the manager at the register informed me that it was the typical amount of food as well as the upcharge. After paying for my food, I walked over to a table to put my winter gear on. I noticed a couple of people that ordered after me had purchased the big plates that had food piled high on their plates. Here's my thoughts: how much food you receive depends on the person that prepares your food. This seems to be consistent from location to location. The most disappointing was the taste. The entrees tasted as if the sauce is being watered down. I've decided that if I want to visit Panda Express, I'll drive to the St. Charles (Zumbhel location) to get it. Unfortunately, the St. Ann (Northwest plaza) location will not get my business. Not a very good location, way too many issues! If you like Panda Express, go to the St. Charles Zumbhel location.
