Upon entering you are greeted by a friendly cashier, definitely recommend ordering from them! Remember, they are cashless! I forgot that on my second meatless Monday! I changed my mind and decided to get something more! the second time upon visiting I got the Dirty Little Vegan (chicken imitation). This was a very good experience! I will definitely come back if you want a personable experience. On the inside it was only one chair. So be mindful you may have to eat somewhere else. But they are friendly indeed! I tried Bougie Bites for the first time earlier this week and I'm already back a second time. This place is a vibe! It has the best late night food!! This is a take-out only spot and you can order ahead. You order at the counter either with staff or on the kiosk. The staff is great!! They offer recommendations and the food is made fast. I can't even describe how flavorful and delicious the food is. I tried both the trad taco with ground soy meat and the No cap egg rolls. Generous portions and they offer tasty sauces with it. I love the Nashville hot sauce on the tacos. I don't like ketchup or pickles so the Bougie sauce accompanying the egg rolls was a no go for me. Next time I will try the red hot sauce or ranch. I tried the location thanks to Yelp. The food was fake meat variety. I wish the industry would quit trying to replace meat and search other cuisines for different ideas. The fake chicken nuggets tasted good with the creamy sauce provided. I was just disappointed with the amount of salt. The service was very friendly counter lady. The kitchen staff asked if I wanted the sauce and I said yes. The location is a counter in front of a kitchen. With only 2 tables with a few chairs outside to eat... This is your spot for late nite vegan food in the Lou. One thing you don't have to worry about their food is if it's well seasoned or not. Everything I tried on the 3 separate visits here was Mos Def well seasoned Bougie AF Burger: this was my least favorite thing on the menu. It was hot, the sauce was very good it's just didn't leave me with I would get this again type of vibes . It did come with a lot of fries 3/5 Fries 4/5 here's the thing :I don't like sweet potatoes fries and that's what they tasted like. The mix of the salt and sweet on the fries worked well. Nice portion size. If you like sweet potatoes fries definitely get these. Birria tacos 3.5/5 : definitely something I would get again hot fresh and the sauce was spicy hot Nachos with "steak"4/5 definitely my fav .huge portion size and they are not cheap with the steak and cheese. The steak and cheese was all throughout the Nachos and not just placed on top. I really wanted to like this place and hoped to support it, but, unfortunately, I found it disappointing. To summarize my thoughts, the food and the space was not worth it! If you're strictly vegan, this place might be worth a try since the vegan meat does mimic actual meat pretty well. However, for me, spending $70 on three items that felt like fast food was regretful. I could have probably used the money at a nice burger restaurant where I can dine-in instead with less the price. By the way, they only do take-outs and there is no dining in. If you're going to pay that much for fresh food, it would be nice to have a place to sit and enjoy it. They did have one table outside, but we're in a heat wave right now, so... I guess they named themselves "Bougie Bites" for a reason. We ordered the: - Mushroom Burger (comes with fries) - $25 - Egg Rolls - $15 - Birria Tacos - $23 The Mushroom Burger and Egg Rolls were decent enough that we forgot they weren't made with real meat. The Birria Tacos were not for us at all. After one bite, we ended up throwing it out because we couldn't get past the flavors. It was a big "no" and $23 out the drain. On a positive note, the staff members were very friendly and the parking was convenient. The location is fairly central, situated "kinda" between the city and county. I always encourage trying a business at least once. Just because it wasn't for me, doesn't mean it isn't for you. For the amount of food that you get for the price it can be a little be pricey. The staff were friendly. The place looks clean. This is only carry out or eat at the patio. I am very excited one of my favorite vegan food trucks is now a brick and mortar! I was able to visit today for my first time. The young lady at the front counter was so friendly. All my favorites on the menu. I ordered the "That ComeBack Crispy Fried Chick'n Sandwich" with a side of Signature Fries to go. First time having this sandwich and it was so crispy and delicious. Ample amount of fries when ordering the fries, enough for two people. The new restaurant itself is small. No dining inside. A couple of two seater tables on the sidewalk outside. Burgers are over the top good. My favorite is the Bougie AF burger that comes with fries. Will be back to try out more menu items. read more

I ordered the banger burger, the no cluckin way (blue oyster mushrooms, and the sweet potato fries. I was satisfied with the meal and would order these items again. They are a bit pricier than their non vegan counterparts so expect to pay a small premium, but that seems to be the standard everywhere else. I tried Bougie Bites STL for the first time and ordered the Ouuwee Impossible Burger with caramelized onions and melted mozzarella. The burger itself was really good; flavorful and satisfying. The fries were seasoned great, and I also ordered a side of cheese sauce, which was good, it had a hint of spice to it that I really enjoyed. This establishment is more of a pickup spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. There's only one small table with two chairs. I didn't mind grabbing food to go, but I would've preferred the option to sit down and eat comfortably. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots available in the lot, which was a plus. As for the service, it was just okay. Since it was my first visit, I had a lot of questions. They were answered, but the interaction felt very minimal. They had two small tables on the sidewalk out front. Once the weather changes, this seating will no longer be available. The space is an entire vibe from the decor, the 90's R&B, and the staff. We had a great time. The ordering process is counter or kiosk. The menu offers a surprising variety of plant based options including: nachos, street tacos, and a few unique appetizers. The menu boasts a variety of burgers all with fun well thought out names. We decided on the egg rolls, and the oooowweee burger. The egg rolls were stuffed with plant based protein and cheese. They were perfectly crisp and delicious. The burger was probably one of the best burgers I've had in some time. The patty gave no indication that it wasn't real beef. I was also expecting chalky vegan cheese. This burger ate like a patty melt gooey and cheesy and saucy with caramelized onions. I shared with a friend and kinda wish I had it all to myself! The burgers come served with fries curtly, sweet potato, or seasoned based on your mood. They offer canned drinks. I ordered one of the organic canned cocktails and was very pleased! The prices are on the higher end. I did feel what I received was worth the price I paid. Also, noting that everything has become more expensive puts the cost into perspective. So look, Bougie Bites has won me over to give vegan food the credit it deserves. The food was amazing. The sauce and cheese and "meat" were just like the real deal. There's a new not so new vegan black owned spot that opened up and I was here for the grand opening! This spot is very good. I had them once before and I loved them. The vegan burgers were tasty, really didn't even seem like I was eating vegan. The vegan eggrolls were fire!! The customer service was really nice. Now they don't have inside seating because this is an order takeaway spot. Two things I will love about this spot is that's 1. From Thursday to Saturday they are open until 2AM and 2. I think they will service alcohol beverages but we will see. read more

We were greeted by staff who were very patient and explained the menu items/recommendations. I am not vegan but after trying this flavorful, creative, and diverse menu, may have to reconsider! I ordered the Bad and Bougie Burger that came with fries. Both were massive and could have been shared by two. The fresh flowers and bistro set out front provided a whole vibe on a gorgeous day! This place was 10 minutes from our old house in STL. It is okay but the prices are OUT OF CONTROL. The food is all frozen vegan food that you can buy at the store. A cheeseburger is 20 bucks....nah!! I wanted to love this place so badly but it was just very meh, so expensive and everything is just frozen food heated up. I can buy a whole bag of vegan cheeseburgers for 20 dollars. read more

I was VERY upset my heart was set on trying this restaurant. I wasted my time & fuel driving to this establishment to be told the restaurant closed early due to lack of customers. The staff member stated, did you use THAT app, YES HE SAID, THAT APP? I said, yes I did. I asked what I should I do after spending my Cash for your restaurant. The gentleman said, I could come back tomorrow at 11am . I thanked him & left DISAPPOINTED. This was an Epic FAIL for the app Too Good To Go & Bougie Bites.
