This is your spot for late nite vegan food in the Lou. One thing you don't have to worry about their food is if it's well seasoned or not. Everything I tried on the 3 separate visits here was Mos Def well seasoned Bougie AF Burger: this was my least favorite thing on the menu. It was hot, the sauce was very good it's just didn't leave me with I would get this again type of vibes . It did come with a lot of fries 3/5 Fries 4/5 here's the thing :I don't like sweet potatoes fries and that's what they tasted like. The mix of the salt and sweet on the fries worked well. Nice portion size. If you like sweet potatoes fries definitely get these. Birria tacos 3.5/5 : definitely something I would get again hot fresh and the sauce was spicy hot Nachos with "steak"4/5 definitely my fav .huge portion size and they are not cheap with the steak and cheese. The steak and cheese was all throughout the Nachos and not just placed on top. Chips were salty but like I said everything is well seasoned No cluckin way osyers mushrooms: 4/5 well seasoned and hot If your looking for late nite vegan food check them out !

I really wanted to like this place and hoped to support it, but, unfortunately, I found it disappointing. To summarize my thoughts, the food and the space was not worth it! If you're strictly vegan, this place might be worth a try since the vegan meat does mimic actual meat pretty well. However, for me, spending $70 on three items that felt like fast food was regretful. I could have probably used the money at a nice burger restaurant where I can dine-in instead with less the price. By the way, they only do take-outs and there is no dining in. If you're going to pay that much for fresh food, it would be nice to have a place to sit and enjoy it. They did have one table outside, but we're in a heat wave right now, so... I guess they named themselves "Bougie Bites" for a reason. We ordered the: - Mushroom Burger (comes with fries) - $25 - Egg Rolls - $15 - Birria Tacos - $23 The Mushroom Burger and Egg Rolls were decent enough that we forgot they weren't made with real meat. The Birria Tacos were not for us at all. After one bite, we ended up throwing it out because we couldn't get past the flavors. It was a big "no" and $23 out the drain. On a positive note, the staff members were very friendly and the parking was convenient. The location is fairly central, situated "kinda" between the city and county. I always encourage trying a business at least once. Just because it wasn't for me, doesn't mean it isn't for you. Given the location with those prices, I'm not sure how they will do on the long run, but I genuinely wish them the best.

This is my second time getting bougie bites. The first time was when they were still at the hill food co location. The food selections are limited. For the amount of food that you get for the price it can be a little be pricey. The staff were friendly. The place looks clean. This is only carry out or eat at the patio. There were a few parking spots in front of the restaurant dedicated to the restaurant.

Every single item on their menu is so delicious. I'm not a vegan but this food is phenomenal. The service is always quick and they always have a smile on their face! You can eat outside they have tables in the front. I'm so glad they have a location where you can actually go and pick it up or stay and eat!

I am very excited one of my favorite vegan food trucks is now a brick and mortar! I was able to visit today for my first time. The young lady at the front counter was so friendly. All my favorites on the menu. I ordered the "That ComeBack Crispy Fried Chick'n Sandwich" with a side of Signature Fries to go. First time having this sandwich and it was so crispy and delicious. Ample amount of fries when ordering the fries, enough for two people. The new restaurant itself is small. No dining inside. A couple of two seater tables on the sidewalk outside. Burgers are over the top good. My favorite is the Bougie AF burger that comes with fries. Will be back to try out more menu items.

I ordered the banger burger, the no cluckin way (blue oyster mushrooms, and the sweet potato fries. I was satisfied with the meal and would order these items again. They are a bit pricier than their non vegan counterparts so expect to pay a small premium, but that seems to be the standard everywhere else. I took the food to-go but there are two small tables outside. Service was good. The lady at the counter was nice and brought me my meal while I was waiting at the tables outside.

I tried Bougie Bites STL for the first time and ordered the Ouuwee Impossible Burger with caramelized onions and melted mozzarella. The burger itself was really good; flavorful and satisfying. The fries were seasoned great, and I also ordered a side of cheese sauce, which was good, it had a hint of spice to it that I really enjoyed. This establishment is more of a pickup spot rather than a sit-down restaurant. There's only one small table with two chairs. I didn't mind grabbing food to go, but I would've preferred the option to sit down and eat comfortably. Parking was easy, with plenty of spots available in the lot, which was a plus. As for the service, it was just okay. Since it was my first visit, I had a lot of questions. They were answered, but the interaction felt very minimal. I didn't really feel welcomed or invited, which took away a bit from the overall experience. Overall, decent food and convenient parking, but the atmosphere and service could be warmer.

Bougie Bites is an experience! From arrival to departure, this business provided STELLAR customer service, food, and was very clean inside and out. We were greeted by staff who were very patient and explained the menu items/recommendations. I am not vegan but after trying this flavorful, creative, and diverse menu, may have to reconsider! I ordered the Bad and Bougie Burger that came with fries. Both were massive and could have been shared by two. The fresh flowers and bistro set out front provided a whole vibe on a gorgeous day! I am impressed and grateful to be a part of this experience. Thank you so much. I will return!

Bougie Bites is a plant-based comfort food dream--burgers, tacos, nachos, and fries that are all packed with amazing flavor. You can tell it's made with care, and the portions are as satisfying as the taste. A locally owned gem that proves vegan food can be both indulgent and delicious!

I prefer the quesadillas with some of the more unique flavors, especially since the price point is very reasonable and you get a fair portion of food. Service: very good. They have QR codes at each table that you can order and pay straight from your phone, which is very convenient and the food always comes out pretty quickly. The staff here is always so nice. Ambience: the majority of the eating area is outdoors in a heated tent. It's a nice vibe and lets you feel like you're sitting outside without actually having to be outside. Parking isn't too bad here, there's a small parking lot right behind the restaurant and then there is typically ample street parking. It can get quite busy at peak times, but they have a great pick up option as well.

We somehow managed to get them on Cinco de Mayo this year, a/k/a Cinco de Drinko--this despite the fact that Mexican food can be hard enough to come by on Cinco de Mayo that shots are sometimes fired. Were they not aware of the holiday? I'd suggest that there's no way that they wouldn't be, but I don't want to assume, what with this being 2026. Or is it one of those things where Cinco de Mayo is not a real holiday in Mexico? It might be the Mexican equivalent of Kwanzaa, invented by the CIA to get people shooting at each other down on Cherokee St, as a pretext for ICE raids. In addition to the free tacos, we were treated a performance by a mariachi band, Modelo, canned margaritas and churros from a local bakery. They spared no expense! Suffice it to say, it wasn't the most productive afternoon. Not that it would have been otherwise. Since I wasn't paying, I went with a "flight" of tacos, as if I were in Napa, one of each type: pollo, al pastor, lengua, asada and chorizo. I didn't do the thing where I tried a little bit of each and spit them in a bucket, but you're welcome to do that, if you're suffering from, er, surviving, an eating disorder. You could probably make use of a nearby potted plant, like Harvey Weinstein. Tacos are served on two small-ish corn tortillas that have been heated up on a griddle, like at an authentic taqueria. They come served with diced raw onion and cilantro, and they ask if that's alright with you, in case you're one of these people who think cilantro tastes like soap, or you're concerned that it can't really be washed and hence could lead to GI distress. I preferred the chicken and steak to the tongue, sausage and, erm, al pastor. All of it seems to have been warmed up on a griddle rather than cooked from raw, but the "dry" meats had nice bits of char. I didn't care for the texture of the al pastor and chorizo as much, though they were nicely seasoned. The tongue isn't as flavorful as regular ol' steak. As I recall, they were charging a premium for it, and I'm assuming that's just taking advantage of curiosity. Prices were written in dry erase marker, and they may have jacked everything up by a dollar for the occasion, which was fine with me. I was also upsold a tres leches cake, which was an excellent recommendation. It was premade and served a bit cold, but it tasted fresh. I found it odd that it was wet, like it had been left out in the proverbial rain in MacArthur Park, or maybe an unhoused person used it as a urinal, but it tasted good enough that it didn't matter. If that's not a testament to the culinary wizardry on display on this truck, I don't know what is.

Great sign to us that people love coming here. We ordered the chicken flautas, shrimp tacos, a barbacoa taco, elote in a cup, and a strawberry Agua fresca. The food was wonderful! He said it was hard to determine his favorite between that and the flautas but if he had to choose it's the barbacoa because it was juicy and very flavorful.
