I'm honestly perplexed by the negative reviews but am thankful I didn't read them before going as I probably would've passed. I'm picky with restaurants - whether $5 or $50 I expect them to deliver on 1. Friendliness 2. Food quality 3. Cleanliness. This delivered, well, on all. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the enthusiastic manager. They were giving us multiple samples, recommending food for our unique diet, and never rushed us. They were personable and friendly and honestly delightful. They all acted like they enjoyed being there. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Sweetfire Chicken and if they hadn't recommended a sample I would've never even got it! It had fresh pineapple and red pepper and was delicious. The veggie rolls were piping hot as was the sauce. Orange chicken was great! Shrimp was good! No gristle in the chicken, and that's hard to come by with Chinese food around here. The tea was delicious. The restaurant was immaculate. They were all efficiently cleaning while we were there and it was a very pleasant dining experience! 5 stars, will definitely return! read more

Went for some orange chicken and brown rice but no one was there and at the drive-thru. They have a fancy ordering machine now but I couldn't figure out how to work it so the girl came on and I ordered through her. I was going to get a double portion cuz I was really hungry or thought I was from getting the nasty chicken on Tuesday... But she talked me out of it and now I know why because it was worse than getting the chicken at the new Long John silver's. Panda Express didn't have no brown rice which everyone knows it's healthier so I think that should be on the menu instead of the white rice which is fattening and I did get three crab rangoons but you couldn't taste no crab in it and they were stale too or not fresh. The chicken was not good either. Probably why there was nobody there parked at their location or in the Drive-Thru except me. Food is always fresh, the service is fast and staff are very friendly when it comes to customer service. If a mistaken is made they will go out their way to correct it, the ambiance is pretty good, it can be quiet but get loud due to how busy it is. Went in for a plate, they were out of item "A" waited 15 minutes, went up to the counter and the told me that had item A, but were out of item B, after awhile, I watched the people behind us in the original line finish their meals and leave the store, I asked for my money back. They played every game in the book from "I don't understand," to "we can't do that." we sat in the drive-thru for two minutes before anyone spoke over the speaker, and when someone finally spoke- they asked us to wait to order, after this it was another five or six minutes before they spoke again. the worker was incredibly slow and kept asking us to repeat our order. unfortunately, they were out of teriyaki chicken, so she left to inform the cook that they would need to make more. admittedly, i've never worked in a restaurant- but i don't think it takes five minutes to pop in the back and say "hey, we're gonna need more teriyaki chicken" or something. then, it was nearly twenty minutes before we got our food (she had told us it would be five to ten before it was ready). i've never had a bad experience at another panda express, but it seems like every time we visit this particular store- something goes wrong. read more

We had a VERY frustrating experience. We spent $23 on this visit and when my husband asked for sweet and sour sauce he was told no. Why? Because we didn't order an appetizer. When we expressed our irritation to Abigail she said "Hey I'm just the employee." "Can we talk to a manager?" "No she left at 5:00". "Is there anyone we can talk to?" "Yeah but it won't do any good. He can't change it." My husband spoke to the shift manager who said yes that is the policy and a lot of people are upset about it. He offered to pass our complaints on to the manager. And that's why he is shift manager and Abigail is not. He knows how to handle customers and their grievances. Abigail just expressed attitude. Which is my other complaint. I made a Yelp account specifically to call out the employees of this establishment. A drive thru employee by the name of Jakylia seemingly had a good attitude when they greeted us at the drive thru, however, let out passive aggression when we said we would wait 10 minutes for black pepper angus steak after trying to get us to change our minds. Even tho the total is typed on the screen, they made us pull around to the window to tell us. The cash exchange was filled with passive aggression but they just told us to pull around front and they'll bring the food out. There were two of us in the car, keep in mind. We go to wait around front for nearly 15 minutes before another employee comes out and hands us our food. We had only 1 utensil and 1 fortune cookie. Not to mention our portions were terrible. We had way more of our side than necessary for our 2 entrees. It's unfortunate for us that we encountered a disgruntled employee who serves such delicious food. Pulled in drive through no other cars at all in the drive thru. Was told there would be a 5 minute wait for one of my items which was fine so they pulled me to the front. Two other cars were sitting out front with flags as well. No one in the restaurant. Over 20 minutes later I went in the restaurant to see what the problem was. There really was no explanation other than once my 5 minute wait item was done, the other items I wanted had all run out because they served them all to everyone in the drive thru that had come through so now we are waiting on other items. 35 minutes later I finally leave with my DRIVE THRU ORDER! Went to Springfield Il Dirksen restaurant for lunch today at 11:22 a.m. Chow Mein bowl mostly empty with only onions and a few noodles left. Asked for Chow mein with 2 sides. server called back to have more chow mein made at 11:25 a.m. Only 2 customers seated in store at the time so not busy. She took order of 2 sides in addition to chow mein for the 2 of us, we paid, sat down, and we waited until 11:40 as she waited on a line of customers now coming in serving chow mein etc. that had been made while we had been waiting for 15 minutes. We finally insisted on refund which we received and promised not to come back. Why since there is only a choice of either rice or chow mein would staff wait to have more chow mein made only after they were completely out ??? Either poor or non existent management. we won't be going back. read more

Went through the drive-thru with 2 separate non-complicated orders. Employee asked me to pull around and hands me a flag. Mind you, this store is not busy AT ALL! One customer inside and no one in the drive-thru lane but, what the heck. I wait outside for probably 7-8 minutes and the employee brings me my food. I get back to the office and not only are there only 2 orders of crag Rangoon but two of the 6 are just wrappers! Although, they did cook the heck out of them (nice burnt edges). As it turns out, they did me a favor by shorting me the crab rangoons. These were the nastiest pieces of garbage that I've ever seen trying to be passed off as food. First time visiting this new store. Every employee greeted us as we walk in. We ordered to go and we were allowed to sample dishes. I got beef/broccoli & chow main , wife got teriyaki chicken/orange chicken and son got orange chicken. Food was hot and was concern when put in styrofoam containers because hot things tend to melt however no melting. Will definitely go back again. 3 meals cost $26 bucks. read more

Went back (after already drove almost all the way home) to get order fixed. They acted like I was lying, being totally disrespectful and honestly just plain rude. I had a receipt and the untouched food in tow. They refused to replace my now cold food and handed me a box. Never said sorry once. Get back out to my car and open the box to find 1 of the 3 orders of rangoons in the box. Go back inside and ask for the other two as I had paid for 26$ for this. Employee actually ARGUES with me saying she put 3 orders in there. I open the box and she says oh. And goes to get the rest. No apologies or offering to fix the situation in any way. The employees move too fast and don't listen to customer to finish talking before plating the order, was told 8 minutes for the chow mein to be done it took 25 min with out being notified about an extended wait.
