    So... much... food

TL;DR: Massively, mega-, highly recommended! Come here and eat like royalty! For those who aren't familiar with this type of restaurant, here's how it works. For the hot pot, you order 1 of 7 different types of broth which they bring to the table and set on a heating element. Then you head to a HUGE buffet of raw ingredients where you select all of the meat, veggies, sauces, and seasonings as you like and drop them into the bubbling broth. I went crazy with the tom yum broth, 3 different kind of mushrooms, baby bok choy, hot chili paste, noodles, a combo of meats, and a couple of vegetable dumplings. That alone would have been a very satisfying meal, but I wasn't done by a long shot. For the BBQ, you take from a different selection of meats, including bulgogi-marinated meats of all kinds. Then you bring it back to the table and cook it on the metal griddle. I tried just about everything; don't sleep on the bulgogi pork belly. The selection on the buffet is truly impressive. For the meat eaters, there's beef, chicken (thighs and breasts), pork (loin and belly), and lamb. The seafood selection includes clams, oysters, and a few different shellfish. As for the vegetables they have, it would be shorter to list what they don't have. They even have a few fresh ingredients that are exotic to the Midwest, like snap pea greens and jujubes. If you're a vegetarian or vegan, you won't do better than this for flavor or selection. One of the great features here is, because the buffet is raw, the quality of the ingredients is obvious. I had a chance to meet the owner and it was obvious that he is extremely proud of his place. This isn't simply a strip-mall Chinese joint (which I like just fine), but he's doing something special here. He says the setup here is just like you would find at a similar place in China. His restaurant is exactly the way he wants it, and he operates it with integrity and an eye to quality. Those who complain about the place will talk about a high price, but they're missing the point. As I said before, this isn't typical Chinese take-out. This is a place best experienced with a large party that has a giant appetite and wants to celebrate. Next time, I'm bringing at least 2 more people with me because the fun here is sharing all the different flavors and passing things across the table. This is a family-run restaurant that our area will love, and it deserves our business.

This is an All-You-Can-Eat hotpot and kbbq place. It was really bold for the owners to open something like this in Springfield, where the majority of people might not know how kbbq or hotpot works. I will write a guide on what to expect from this restaurant after having visited. When you enter the place you will be greeted by staff, let them know how many people there are for a table. They will then seat you down and ask if you've come for either hotpot or kbbq. It is $30 per person for either hotpot or kbbq, but if you'd like to do both (like what I did), you'll have to pay a few dollars extra to have both the kbbq and hotpot options. Depending on what you pick (hotpot or kbbq), the staff will turn on the heat for your individual cooking station. They will heat up the pot for you if you choose hotpot option, and the grill if you choose the kbbq option. While it is heating up, you can head to the buffet area to get your selection of meat and veggies. There is also a build-your-own-sauce bar. Don't skip this! Your hotpot meat won't be flavorful if you don't have sauce. Some of the meats are hotpot-only, and some are reserved for kbbq-only, there will be signs telling you what you can and can't get. When you have your plate of food, you can head back to your table and start cooking. Staff is also very nice and I can tell they care about the business and making it work. They are very attentive and come to check up on you to see everything is working properly and if you might have any questions.

The Tom Yum Soup is the best! This buffet has so many spices and sauces. You can really customize your dish.

Great food! The Tom Yum soup is the best! There are plenty of meat and veggie add ins. There are also numerous sauces to choose from.

Serve yourself for the most part. If you are new they will help walk you through and don't bother you! My water was refilled constantly whenever it was low and the food is amazing!!!! Only thing I could say is I wish there was a list that shows you average cook times! Fresh food, fast service, amazing tables with them changing out hot plate every time it gets dirty from cooking food!!!

Absolutely amazing! This new restaurant located on Springfield's south west side needs to be added to the top of your list of where to go on your next night out on the town. Upon arrival staff the greets you like family and make sure that all of your needs are taken care of. The food selection was unlike anything else in the area. When I say that there is something for everyone that is not a lie. Between the options for hot pot and the grill you will definitely not go home without a full stomach. Going in a group i had the joy of tasting 5/7 of their amazing soup broths Tom Yum being my personal favorite but they were all equally good in their own unique ways. This establishment is just what springfield needed and I can not recommend them enough!

Great food and a friendly staff. There is a ton of options. Though be aware, when they say something is spicy they very much mean it.

Be warned. There are only two menu choices and they're both all-you-can-eat options costing $30 and children 11 and over are full price.

There was definitely some "bad" fish (tasted old) in the rolls, which fell completely apart the moment you attempted to pick them up. Ambiance? The large bowl of rice sitting outside the bathroom was a bad look. The server was nice enough, but the best service in the world could not offset the poor quality of the food. I have had better sushi from the grocery store and from Sam's Club. The saddest part? I had been wanting to try "the best sushi in Springfield" for the last two years! For your reference- we had 4 rolls- spicy tuna, Alaska roll (salmon), French kiss (shrimp tempura, crab, salmon), and Caribbean orgazam (soft shell crab, salmon). There was not a good roll in the bunch. Seriously, this is not the place to go for sushi.

Among the four of us, two ordered the Texas Style Beef Brisket Platter ($27.99), and two ordered the Pulled Pork Platter ($21.49). I imagine it can become a little noisy when it's filled with people, but we had arrived early so there wasn't any issues with noise. Our server was polite and friendly. She put the coffee on fresh for us. She checked on us several times during our meal. I loved my brisket. It was tender and moist and very good! I added some sauce to my plate for dipping. There were 4 sauces to choose from, but the two I enjoyed were the Mustard BBQ, and the Chipotle BBQ. Both had some heat which added some great flavors to the brisket. The others all enjoyed their orders as well. Mom loved her pulled pork, and she had a great time. We all went home where cake, ice cream, presents and birthday cards awaited her. Thanks Smokey Bones for helping make Mom's birthday special! 5 stars!

When you walk in you are greeted by what is a desolate wasteland with only the not so faint sounds of the slot machines in the distance to comfort you. The place was clean but felt unimaginably empty. So, if you are coming here for atmosphere, forget it. So let's get to the food, I ordered the sweet chili chicken wings, fries, the sweet cheesy corn and a milk tea boba. The milk tea boba was very good, unfortunately they were out of the brown sugar Biba, so I was left with the coffee boba and while it is not my first option it was still quite tasty. I was off to a strong start, I was feeling confident until (cue JAWS theme) they brought out the "cheesy" corn. Without exaggeration, it was a mildly heated up plate of canned sweet corn with a PINCH of cheese. I'm not trying to be picky but when you are paying $5 for some corn, you are hoping there is a little bit of flair. I was able to get through two bites with cheese in it and the rest was corn bathing in its own del monte brand fluid. Please add more cheese or just title the meal as Corn". Let's talk about the chicken wing combo now. This was the star of the show, the chicken quality was poor but it was fried to perfection and the sauce was very good. I wish they had used a better quality meat but like I said my expectations were medium at best. On another note, the sleeper hit of the meal was the French fries, obviously frozen but once again, fried to perfection, I got a side of coconut sauce which was actually a perfect compliment to the dish. Overall the experience was very medium, it's not a place I would highly recommend, but it's a good option in a pinch. Everyone was friendly and it was clean. Fix the corn and food quality and this place is going to be more than decent!
