Total greasepit...even the rice was greasy. Still, I ate here about once a week, because of its location and nothing more. Bad news.

Same as every other panda I've been to. Service is pretty good as well. Haven't had a bad meal here yet.

Great food. Definitely glad that there is a location on Campus so close to my office.

Their portions are not consistent. Today someone put just 5 orange chickens and 7 Beijing beefs to plate.

Five Guys - A Five Guys cheeseburger, milkshake and regular order of fries sits on a table inside a Five Guys restaurant.

The manager was very efficient, respectful, and ran the place in a way you would hope. I asked for special requests on my burger and it came out exactly as I asked. It was probably the best Five Guys burger I have ever had. I wish I took a picture to show how big it was. Obviously the prices are still Five Guys prices... so a little high, BUT at this location they are Worth it! I will be coming back. FYI I visited this location on 07/07/26 and it was around lunch time.

State College Five Guys (FG) is tucked away in a little shopping area on College Ave. At one time…read moreit was a Wendy's but those days are long gone. Parking is on the street, in the nearby garage or in the few spaces around the adjacent businesses. The interior is like most FG's, simple, red & white with bags of potatoes and fresh peanuts. I've always been a fan of FG's but with a lot more "fresh" fast options opened, it's dropped off my radar in recent years. For the uninitiated FG's is unique in that the burger is a fresh, never frozen 100% USDA beef, ground in-store daily. They are hand patties so they come out fresh and juicy wrapped in tinfoil. FG offers other fresh ingredients and the standouts are the fresh-cut fries and tasty buns =)! They also offer a bottomless supply of unshelled peanuts for free. On this day, I stopped in for lunch and ordered a "little" cheeseburger with fries and a drink. You can order the "little" which means 1 patty and saves you a few dollars. Personally, I'm not a fan of the 2-patty burgers. As you'll realize this place can be messy and the 2-patty sandwich complicates things a bit. Beyond that they give you numerous ways to customize your order but I typically go "all the way" -- sans mushrooms. Today's visit was outstanding. The burger and fries were fresh and tasty. I'm usually not a fan of the tinfoil (over waxpaper) but FG likes to lock in the heat. Sometimes the sandwich comes out smashed down. This would be a 5-star establishment all day but due to costs (around $18 for one person) and past inconsistency, I've knocked them down a notch. That said, State College has performed well the last few visits!

Located right in downtown state college and walking distance to south side of campus, meter parking available too. Small, quaint little place with a super nice owner. Food came out quickly for a Friday evening and everything tasted really well. We tried a bunch of things and my soon to be PSU student loved the galbi and can't wait to come back.

It's a family owned Korean Fried Chicken restaurant with 2 locations in the central PA area. The restaurant in State College is in an older building, on a side street, and it's an interesting internal layout. Parking would be on the street or a nearby parking garage. There was only one person working the counter area and the ordering process was not well thought out. The restaurant is in the basement of the building, the seating area has no natural light and it's decor is dated/lacking. We ordered fried dumplings, boneless fried chicken, rice with sauce and a bulgogi bowl between two of us. The food came out fairly quick and was honestly delicious. The boneless chicken was premade but then reheated as is typical in most asian restaurants. You have to order sauce on the side, at an additional cost, and it was a fairly small serving. These dishes have some heat, which we enjoyed, but be careful. We really liked each dish and the portions were large. As other's noted, this place was expensive. Our bill was over $50 for two of us. That's more than it's worth. If you're looking for asian inspired cuisine nearby try Bistrozine!
