Panda Express has been my go to place for good fast food that is healthy and does not upset my stomach with grease ect.. This afternoon I hit the PE at Fortuna on my way home to Quartzsite. I ordered my usual which is Honey Walnut Shrimp and Grilled Teriyaki Chicken. As usual on the way home I pry open the container and begin nomming on the shrimp. I'm sorry people but it tasted old and maybe just a little bad. I was bummed...I couldn't eat it for fear of food poisoning and I am NOT a picky person. I'd like to add that I'm from the PNW so I know my seafood! I'd like to give a shout out (if allowed) to my all time favorite Honey Walnut Shrimp at China City in Oak Harbor WA.. on Whidbey Island. Do better Fortuna PE! Don't hang on to that shrimp so long or I'll find myself another favorite! read more

Adjacent to the Walmart parking lot. This restaurant was clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Food was fresh and hot. Variety of entrees to choose from. The Broccoli Beef and Beijing Beef were good. The chow mein noodles could use a little more cook time so they're not so chewy. Fried rice was ok. Added some soy sauce on the beef broccoli to enhance the flavor. Also added a packet of the teriyaki sauce to it. Unfortunately they have no knife in the utensils to cut chicken or beef chunks smaller. Prices reasonable. read more

I walked in and stood in line behind Five People three servers look directly at me and then looked away. I made it all the way up to the front of the cashier who asked what I had and I said nobody had taken my order yet. Instead of taking my order then he directed me to the back of the line where an additional 10 people had now gathered since I've been waiting in line for at least 5 minutes. I asked if he could just take my orders so I didn't have to wait as I was on my lunch break to which he responded no. Obviously I walked out and will never be back. I do not recommend this location to anybody for any reason. read more

I ordered a late dinner for the family that cost $31.91. Get the food home, open the containers of kids meals and the orange chicken appeared that it was old and sitting for hours, no orange sauce, the fried rice was stale and lacked any oil or flavors. Very disappointed. What happened to the tasty meals? Need better management and accountability with the young staff at the store. Service: 5 stars Everyone was smiling, super friendly and helpful Food: 5 stars My choice was tasty and fresh. Garlic, black pepper chicken with vegetables. Which were out at the time of order which is ok. Didn't take long to wait for the next batch. Price value: 5 stars Could have been a little cleaner but it also was lunch time. Hard to keep up sometimes. Totally get it. So why 1 star after already giving 15? Well, negative 14 stars because of all the plastic. I ordered to dine in, not take out. Both meals in our party were given to us in take out containers. Why? That can't be cheaper than a sturdy cardboard plate or bowl. No more Panda Express for me until this changes. It used to be better. It's been a while from the last time I enjoyed their food. The fried rice tasted burned which ruined the rest of the plate. So after about 2 months, about a week ago I decided to give them another shot and yet again the same problem! I went through the drive-thru and the service was great but unfortunately when I got home to my disappointment there was barley any food in it. I had bought 2 of the 3 entre plates and ended up completely throwing one away because the broccoli smelled funny and had a brownish grey color to it. BUT...... I did try one more time, this time INSIDE, and yes the fried rice did taste a bit burned but the black pepper chicken- orange chicken- mushroom chicken- kung pao- and chow main tasted awesome!!!!!! So if you want to "enjoy" eating at Panda Express make sure to eat inside from now on. read more

It's only a few blocks away from my house or pretty much walking distance.I've had my order screwed up a couple of times but I like the menu and the flavors and the prices are OK but it's fast food and convenient the only thing I don't like too much is that the food is very oily. read more

Passed by here on our way back to Texas, and they literally do wait till 10am to take orders. We passed by the drive in like three times from 9:55am til 10am and the workers inside saw us and didnt acknowledge us until 10am on the dot. The food itself was okay nice and hot, as expected since of course it was the first order out of the day. I can understand that they need to wait till 10 to take orders, but it would've been nice of them to at least acknowledge us and let us know instead of just watching us go around and around the window.. read more

Three times in a row now that they've messed up our order. First time I ordered honey walnut shrimp, which there is an upcharge for. I got home and realized they only gave me four shrimp! We called and drove back, they added more but didn't offer to replace the rest of the meals which were cold by that point. Second trip, I ordered steamed rice and teriyaki chicken. I got home and realized the rice was not cooked all the way. Had to throw it away. Last time, same order as my second visit. Again the rice was undercooked (still hard and starchy). Also they asked if I wanted sauce in the side and I said yes. They didn't put any sauce in the bag. Besides all of this, their portions are much smaller than they used to be. read more

I have visited this place maltipul times in the last few weeks. Out of these i have used the drive thru for most of them. This is now the third time i have ordered and verified my order on there screen and received the wrong food in my plates. Im not sure what is wrong with this panda express i love this restaurant and visit them all over the country when im traveling. This is the only panda that i have had this many issues getting what i ordered. I have been to many different pandas that are much busier and never had the wrong food in my plates. This panda is slow the workers in the drive thru seem to be more worried about there phones then serving there patrons. I will not be visiting this panda any more and will find one that is able to give a little customer service. read more

I just picked up some of that General Tso's chicken, in a bowl, with some chow mein and I don't know what they did different today, but that shit was good. On the first bite, that chicken had just the right kind of crispness to it. I was on my way to class and I just had to call them and let them know that someone was doing things right. It couldn't have just been that it was fresh cuz I've seen fresh Panda come out and ate it, but I've never been so impressed as I was today. When you care about your job and put forth some effort into it, that goes a long way. Leaves customers happy and wanting to go back for more. Keep it up, Panda Express on Ave 8E. read more

Their food is normal Chinese fast food, greasy but satisfying, what's not cool though is the service on the drive thru, they never get it right, white rice, chow main, teriyaki or orange chicken, is all the same to them and if you ask teriyaki chicken for the whole family chances are portions are gonna be miserable. Completely inedible! There were large globs of clear gel in my veggies- which were just made fresh. Had I seen them in the serving pan I would never had picked them. I wish people would look closer at the food preparing and make sure they would want to eat it. Unfortunately, I now have to drive home to Phoenix starved! I wish I had opened the box prior to leaving. The only positive note would be that there was no line, while Chipotle and Pita Pit's lines were out the door. But this may be exactly why... Went there today on a whim as I passed by heading home. I used the drive thru once again...something I'd advise you to never do, as it gives them their golden opportunity to screw you over. Today I got the same young lady I got last time...nice young lady...could be of either asian descent or Hispanic. I ordered a medium container of low main and that was it. I was then bombarded with question after question, which I answered "no" to, because I simply could not understand her...it got to the point where I was about to yell into the box "Speak up, Slow down and Annunciate your words...because I can't understand a thing you are saying!" When I got to the window, things were no better...speaks in a ridiculously low volume, a mile a minute and asked me 3 questions as if they were all one long word. I then watched as she grabbed a container and a spatula, tilted the low main tray and pushed the fresh food toward the bottom, and filled the container with what turned out to be the leftovers from the last batch. She the rang me up and said "...sorry...forgot...ask...hospital?" To which I said "no"...having -- once again -- no idea what she was saying. When I got home, I opened the container...all set to enjoy one of my favorite quick snacks...only to throw it in the trash after 2 forkfuls...cold, rubbery and no flavor...yep, she did it again...sticking me with old food that should have been trashed 30 minutes earlier. The time before this, I ordered more food...low main, beef & broccoli, chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. Same "speedy gonzalez" speaker, same cold & old food...but this time she outdid herself...by giving me king pao chicken, instead of sweet & sour chicken...kind of hard to mix the two up...but I guess they had too much leftover kung pao chicken, and decided to screw the drive thru customers over, rather than trashing it. To the owner/manager of this Panda Express...don't go blaming the young lady...instead, grab a mirror...because this young crew didn't think up this on their own...it had to be directly told to them to do...by YOU. Food there is old or hard or idk somethings never right about it. I live in the foothills so this WOULD be the go-to panda I could come to but the food sucks so bad I instead drive out to the mall where the food in that Panda is always fresh, they've got good service there etc. this Panda Express however I've been the last couple times I went before I decided to never again, says it closes at 10 pm right ? WRONG. Il literally be pulling up at around 9:20 and the girl on the drivethru will give me attitude saying "oh I'm sorry we are cleaning up" and I go "Uhm so it's 9:20 and it's too late to order?" And she's like "well are u sure u want to order?" And in my head I'm thinking no freakin duh I want to order I didn't drive here to not order food because there all trying to go home early or somethin. But yea, she will always be like "no were cleaning up" or "are you sureeeee? "Are u really sure?" They need to get a manager in there to see what's up because they suck so bad, fire all the people there and get a real crew, not 16 year old kids. read more

Some things never change! I experienced two occasions of unbelievably slow service (over 15 minutes in the drive-through after placing my order) about two years ago. I stayed away for that time period and thought I would give them another chance. I have visited three times in the past two months, all of them online orders. During my most recent visit I arrived on my lunch break to pick up my order. I was informed they did were out of cream cheese rangoons and sweet fire chicken breast; that was 1/2 of my total order! I was offered substitutions but as those items were for another individual I was unable to know what they would wish substitute. I requested my money back, which I received, and I also asked why I was not contacted to save me the trip. I received an apology but no good excuse as to why I was not contacted. I have no problem with the there food and enjoy it (when I don't have to wait forever and when they actually have food), but it is difficult for me to understand how they 'run out of' key menu items. I plan on giving them another two years to re-examine their poor-service business model. It won't make a difference as most people seem to enjoy being treated like cattle and put up with poor service, but at least I feel better for a few minutes because I stuck it to the man:) read more

Went to this location at 8:55 pm on a Saturday night, sign on the door said open till 10. Went inside saw about 4 employees pretty much doing nothing, forget feeling welcomed, the employees looked at me and my son like we were trespassing on private property. But whatever, we were hungry and had been working all day and wanted to sit down relax and eat. Well it took about 5 minutes just for anyone to even acknowledge that we were there, and finally when one of the employees came over the first words out of her mouth were, "your meal is gonna have to be to go".
