Went with the server's recommendation and got the Spicy Eggplant with beef. Went medium hot- it wasn't hot at all (I do like spicy). This thai restaurant is located in a little shopping center in the Foothills. It's a very small and intimate restaurant and I am a little claustrophobic so I probably wouldn't ever dine in. I would say just be aware if you are calling in, there is only one person so it can be hard to call in from time to time. The tomyum soup was okay. It wasn't too oily or heavy. Small restaurant in a busy area. We came for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the yellow chicken curry lunch special that I thought was a good serving size for lunch. Plenty of chicken, potatoes, carrots and onion in a mild but flavorful sauce. It also came with one dumpling! I, of course, had a Thai ice tea (my favorite) which was yummy and large in size. Just got back from Bangkok a week ago and I didnt get enough of their food. Came here and Touch of Thai and hands down, this is my favorite place to come to. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. It's a small place but it's quiet and they also offer outdoor dining. You see many people ordering to go but Harley anyone stays here. We enjoyed Salmon Steak, mixed vegetables with pork, the seafood soup, and a shrimp dish. The food was nicely presented, and delicious. We aren't able to eat food that's too spicy for health reasons, so we asked for no spice, except once when we asked for mild. It was a bit too spicy for us. Still enjoyable (with a lot of water). I know it seems silly to go to a Thai restaurant and ask for no spice, but we did. One of our dining neighbors did ask for spicy and asked for a trio of additional hot spices (you can add your own if you prefer). Through sniffles and glassy eyes, he said his dinner was perfectly seasoned. So enjoy as much or as little heat as you desire. Great bistro type location in the mall. We chose to dine outside. While the food temperature was definitely not hot like it should've been my husband loved the Panang chicken curry. I had the crispy tofu phad Thai. The tofu is cut into weird angular pieces and it was not crispy at all. the flavor was delicious but I do wish that it was crispy. Ordered take out and it took 15 minutes longer than we were informed it would. The spice level is spicier than normal Thai places. The panang Curry was good with lots of vegetables in it.
