I warned Dave when I made the service call. On the day, he arrived on time. He was kindly restrained when I walked him around and he proceeded with his serious cleaning task. I was so concerned that I rejoined him a couple of times to see how he was coping; I was amazed to see what he was doing. All screens had been removed and neatly stacked on the deck, he was cleaning the whole window glass & frame and lubricating them as he went along (Some of them were so stiff that I had given up opening them). I received several useful tips and practical advice on windows upkeep. When it was all done he also advised me on upkeep frequency, which was much deserved. We have used them every year for last 4 years to clean our gutters. Price has always been 100$…read more This year when my husband called, the number had changed and so he looked them up again and found a new number. They didn't have us in their system which is fine, we made an appointment for them to come and do the gutters. They arrive and unfortunately the items in the gutter are frozen. Then the gentleman asks again what price were we told on the phone and my husband reiterates the 100$ price. The gentleman says there is no way he can do our gutters for that price. He sites that it will take at least two hours to do and that our gutters are hard to get to. On the phone when my Husband made the appointment he said he had never been to our home and said more than likely the price would be 110-115. In the past is has taken maybe 45 mins at the most to do our gutters. They are not in hard to reach places if you have the right ladder. Today he said 115$ won't touch our house as far as price...we'll now neither will he. Not sure where the disconnect was this year. New owner? New employees? Either way, we will be using someone else going forward.
