One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a Panera. My Mac n cheese was barely full compared to the SAME SIZE my cousin and friend got ~ I asked them to please add a little more and they refused because it is prepackaged. I also asked for NO TOMATOES in my salad and yet , I still found one. This is extremely dangerous for people with food allergies: the manager was compliant and understanding and in turn gave me my money back ~ but it is still a danger. read more

Panera has a wonderful reputation and turns out consistently good meals (and snacks) and all of their locations. The staff at this particular location is very friendly, especially when I have my seeing-eye-dog-in-training in tow. This is a horrible location. Always out of bread bowls. Missing item discovered at home when called order in ahead and then found hair in chicken salad sandwich. Teenage workers are unprofessional and immature. Manager shuffles around looking like a slob. I really like Panera's menu items and their approach to clean food. Love this Panera because it's less crowded and less loud than the one near Willow Grove mall. The pick 2 is what I always get but I tried their avocado corn salad. My daughter announced this was the largest Panera she has been in. She is a fan of this chain. We don't have one near us. We found ourselves in Doylestown and I thought I would treat her to her current favorite place. My familiarity with this chain is reserved to their Asiago bagels, which I have had numerous times. This is the first time I ever had a "meal" there. I was disappointed. The prices are high for what one gets. I had a roast beef and cheese panini. I got the half as the whole was more than $10. The half was $5-something. It was not filling, although it tasted all right. The bag of chips was lacking. My daughter had a bowl (she ordered a cup) of chicken noodle soup. Went here and placed an order w the cashier, Stephanie. I went extremely slow in saying my order carefully and somehow she got the whole entire order wrong. The receipt had the wrong items listed and the bag of food was completely different than I had told her. This isn't the first time my order has been wrong here. The manager is nice and tries to compensate but its a waste of my time to go here and have everything be incorrect. I don't understand why the cashiers cant type in the order correctly. Maybe they should think about hiring some new people. read more

Had lunch here today. I has a small child at the table and was nervous about getting back to the table quickly after picking up my food. I had 2 trays. I only felt comfortable carrying one at a time. They guy at the counter handling the order to be served out got annoyed and slammed my second tray down. Now last time I was at Panera at valley square the guy handing food out walked with me to my table and made sure I was good. I know it's a lunch rush but bringing that extra tray would of helped instead of being annoyed. Please train employees to help customers if they need it. read more

It's Panera-menu items are expected with some new choices. Took 3 teens with me and decided to eat in. After placing our order with proceeded to the fountain drink area, where there were crushed butter packets on the floor, paper and just an over all dirty appearance. We found our table and booth chairs to be dirty and proceeded to brush what we could off the table-that's what started my look around the restaurant. Food splattered on the walls, apples under the tables-just overall dirty. I actually brought it to the managers attention. Although he appreciated my feedback-it's up to him to direct his staff to clean up on the down times. Won't be going back-because if it's that dirty in the restaurant eating areas, it's worse in the kitchen. read more

The food and service was as expected. The issue I had was the condition of the restaurant. I dropped something and had to reach under the table of the booth. Found a disgusting spoon with dried food and lots food crumbs, etc. THat made me look around. Standard Panera but it's slow and you must check EVERY part of your order and receipt. We ordered soup in a bread bowl which came in a bowl without bread, a new menu item panini which came with the wrong side and a half sandwich and small soup where they made the wrong sandwich. Also supposed to take my $2 reward but did not apply it. Supposed to offer a "sweet treat" on a mistake and never bothered. It was NOT busy as it was 8pm so it was just poor performance. I like the Doylestown Panera. Good menu selections and its a clean, comfortable place to spend an hour. Unfortunately, the meals are pricey to start with and the sandwiches are so lightweight I always request more (chicken, turkey, etc) and have to pay extra. Recently, they closed off the frozen drink area so you can't watch your drink being made. May not matter to some, but I like to see as much prep as possible to know what I'm eating/ drinking. The divider closes off the waiting area and is so ridiculous in size it makes me doubt the only reason to install it was to "decrease customer confusion" provide "one stop for pick up." We ordered "to go" and brought it home due the restaurant having a full sitting area at the time. (half were eating and the other half hanging out working on laptops) We had to trash all the food we ordered as it was mashed up and kinda slopped together when we opened it. A gold star for the chips and green tea though. We I would not give them any stars at all for anything else. We try to give a place a second chance because anyone can have a bad day, but this WAS the second chance. Probably will not go there again. so, we recently ordered takeout, and they accidentally didn't give us two of our soups we ordered, but, they have fantastic service. i called back and the manager was very nice, and gave us our soup (in and extra large bowl) and a complimentary cinnamon coffee cake (like the ENTIRE cake, it wasn't a slice), and we didn't have to pay delivery fees, the delivery guy was fantastic and very nice as well. fantastic! if we could rate them more then five starts we would, at least 6+ because of their service! read more

Employees are friendly and the place itself is clean and welcoming. I'm giving three stars for the food. I feel like every time I come here (hoping for an improvement) I'm disappointed. I ordered the turkey and avacado blt. The chcicken seemed to be the end of a bowl because it was a bunch of tiny bits that fell out everywhere and the avacado was literally just a half of one stuck in there. They always have great food. The people who serve you are always happy and friendly! They have never made any mistakes on any of my orders the many times I've gone there. My only concern is that it seems everyone is wearing a hat of some sort except for the manager on duty. It's one thing if he/she is not actually touching any of the food, but I've seen he/she not only assist in making my own personal order, but others as well. I believe hats are part of their health policy and shouldn't have the managers excluded because of their rank in the store. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, I am a huge fan of panera, I go there often for lunch, for take out, with friends, etc. But enough is enough! they have continually messed up my order at this location, offer to replace it as if I can run back to their facility within my 30 min lunch break and exchange it, they act like the next time you come in they'll give you a free sandwich but how are you to know that person will remember you or be there when you return let alone the same sandwich the second time. They have continually missed items or left ingredients off but this time they added other sauces to the sandwich including the sauces already on there making it inedible. Whats worse is I called to complain and told her that I was pregnant and I don't have the luxury to run back there because my lunch was now over and can you believe they didn't even offer to deliver a new sandwich to replace the crap they just gave me! They make a lot of mistakes on orders - they pressure you to create a profile and order online but I've gotten quinoa salads with no quinoa and last night a salad which was missing chicken... and they run out of bread all of the time! It's called Panera BREAD for gods sake - it tells me frequently when I order online that I need to change my order because I tried to get bread as a side. Get it together guys! read more

I enjoy eating breakfast and lunch here. The bagels, breads and pastries are always fresh. If you buy bagels to take home, they will slice them for you with their slicing machine. The down side is that I think the prices are a bit high for a cafe style restaurant. read more

I've been going to this Panera with friends once a week for dinner for years. The staff are friendly, courteous and efficient, and the manager, Gary, goes out of his way to please. Everything, from the entrance, ordering area, dining area and bathroom, is clean and neat. I've tried most things on the menu and usually migrate back to a pick-two; the half-salads and small bowls of soups are plenty big. I love the Frontega Chicken Panini and chicken soup (I squeeze lemons into it, to re-create the lemon chicken soup that was once on their menu). Their bakery items and breads are good too, but I usually don't order them (being calorie-conscious). Meals come with a choice of roll, chips or apple (the last is a healthy choice rarely available at other cafes). I've been to other Paneras in the Bucks-Mont area and like this one the best. read more

Poorly managed making the food a total ripoff. Have never had a bad experience at any Panera until this place. I had a half sandwich - turkey avocado that came with virtually no turkey and literally no avocado. It was a single slice of bread, a single small piece of lettuce, two tomato slices and a piece of turkey that would fit on a Ritz cracker. Oh, and some soggy cold bacon. There was no avocado and no explanation from the staff. They did not even make eye contact or speak with anyone picking up orders. All of this for $8.88 with tax. Terrible manager and terrible food. Very disappointed with both the service and quality of food. In the middle of placing my order, an employee walked up and started asking the cashier questions. It was rude and everything I had already stated to the cashier had to be repeated. Because of this interruption, instead of getting the Asian Chicken salad that was ordered, I received a Grain salad. So this Panera it's such a love hate relationship the food is good but the service is just ALWAYS horrendous. They never get your to go order correct ever, I always check it there because they always miss something. They always have different people working there too I never see the same faces ever and I go once a month maybe twice. They were on a good streak for a while when their manager was checking the bags before giving them to people but he's stopped that now and it's back to being terrible, I got a salad today and soup, not that hard to put together TWO ITEMS. Apparently so, the girl handed me the bag I knew right away the soup was missing it was so light so I looked at her and handed he receipt saying there's supposed to be soup in here, she ROLLS her eyes grabs the bag puts the soup in gets soup all over the bag it was such a mess and hands it back to me.
