Panera always comes through for me when I need a quick lunch. The place is clean and staff are friendly. I usually use the self ordering machine because it's lot fast to me and I usually only come here for one thing, so it's a repeat order when I type in my rewards number. I came to this Panera not knowing they didn't have the bacon avocado melt sandwich anymore so I ordered the BLT Chicken avocado sandwich and I order the sandwich with no chicken so it would basically be the bacon avocado melt with no cheese. But I got this instead , this is absolutely absurd never in my life have I gotten a vegetable sandwich from ANYWHERE let alone a place I'd never expect a error like that to happen. This is incredibly unprofessional and ridiculous to pay for a sandwich and NOT GET ANYTHING BUT VEGETABLES ON THAT SANDWICH. I'm highly upset about this situation and not something I wanted to see getting home with my food this is so frustrating. Fix that immediately because paying for a sandwich and not even getting any meat or protein on the sandwich is so mind blowing to me never have I ever had an experience like this. Rainy days, cold weather, maybe a tough break up. These are all instances where you need some good pick me up comfort food and Panera always delivers. I never crave this restaurant in the summer but I always do when the weather gets cold. And for good reason! Their soup is consistently good even though it's mass made. The sandwiches come in a great variety and the ingredients are fresh. My favorite is the frontega chicken which sets itself apart with the warm melty cheese and tender chicken. I also went with the Cobb salad and it was such a large portion it felt like I barely made a dent after I started eating. The lettuce is crisp and the chicken was flavorful. They put dressing on your salad to start but it is nowhere near enough. Pro tip as for 2 more dressing containers on the side. Ambiance for Panera is like a busier Starbucks with less long term guests and more background noise. Overall a fine place to get good consistent comfort food. read more

I think that where Panera could really excel above the fray would be with superior customer service. I had 2 different excellent encounters with employees who were exemplary. One had already informed me she was leaving for nursing school a few months ago. The other is Conner. He is caring & exhuberant. Many times employees are outstanding but as time goes on, they become complacent or less gung - ho. Others are acceptable, nothing wrong with that but this employee's obvious enthusiasm was contagious. A great experience can just make your day uber better. Today, I was tremendously thrilled to also sample their new menu item, a $5.99 flatbread in cheese or margherita that's rolling out on Mon Oct 26, 2020. It tastes like it looks, how it should & is not fancy but another quick option to their lineup. Lastly, I have been a crispy coffee member for 4 months. More often than not, somehow (egads) there's an error. If I order ice or almond milk, or milk, it's not included on the shelf. I've even gotten no order despite a confirmation order number. You are supposed to be able to get a cookie but if there's a line, I just skulk away in annoyance & without moi cookie. I won't ever go to a Panera Bread,again. I had the tomato soup for lunch. A half an hour later I was in the bathroom, throwing up.

I love the food here, but service was completely horrible, on the part of the manager, or whoever was in charge. I lost my phone at this place and asked specifically 3 employees if they had seen anything. all of them were super nice and told me I was free to look around. in the area that i lost my phone there were 2 customers who were more than willing to help me find it, and I had only asked 2. a few minutes later, I go up to the register again to ask an employee for possible security camera footage access, and I notice a man following me. Im assuming this was the manager, a white blue eyed, balding man, maybe 5'4. Asks me if I need any help with anything, explained to him that i lost my phone, very panicked and crying but not trying to make a spectacle. Tells me to essentially wrap it up and stop bothering the customers. profusely apologized because I had bigger priorities, but this man did not even care about a theft that occurred inside of the location he's supposed to manage. Worst Panera I have been to! I love Panera and actually worked there a few years ago and this quality of food was just not right. First received the wrong sandwich, then did not receive my soup, had NO strawberries on the STRAWBERRY poppyseed salad, we also got the chicken teriyaki bowl and the rice was not all the way cooked some pieces were crunchy. I talked to the guy at the window about getting them fixed the guy argued with me! Also from working I know there is a certain presentation for wrapping of sandwiches and such and they were just wrong and sloppy. I know mistakes happen (trust me been there) but this was just so many to me where is the training?? Also I saw a man with long hair and long facial hair working on the line with no hair net. This week I went there and ate a very soggy sandwich half kickin' grilled cheese and it came all smashed under the wrapped paper and it looked like it was made with expired cheese and the same cheese was kept off the fridge for a very long time.and it was for sure a very spoiled cheese. We went there with a gift certificate from my sister. She gave us 30 bucks so we got to get a great lunch the goddess salad was really good as was the smokehouse chicken barbecue sandwich the bread is so delicious located conveniently by galleria mall. I am absolutely sure will be back as it's one of our family's favorites because you can get healthy food at a sort of reasonable price. I got through my Master's degree by grabbing coffee during early mornings, plugging into the wifi, and going to town on whatever paper I had due. I came back to this location for the same experience, but what I got was a dirty restaurant (like filthy, and it was first thing in the morning!) and a terrible tasting coffee. My daughter and I stopped in for dinner after a long day at work. We both work in the education field and anytime we can go out for dinner especially on a Friday is paramount to our self care. The salad has fresh boiled eggs, and a mix of baby greens including arugula. Panera is a welcome place to eat when we don't want the typical fast food but instead crave fresh salads. Panera will do the trick if you need a lighter breakfast and don't have much time. This is also a good pick for dining with friends that aren't adventurous eaters since menu items are simple. The employees at this location have always been friendly and prepare orders quickly. The dining room has always been clean with plenty of seating available. On each morning visit the bakery has always been stocked with plenty of goodies and quiches. The quiches are my favorite breakfast item here with four or five different flavors offered. The combination of pastry and eggs plus other delicious vegetables and meats are tasty. The Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Brioche Sandwich was pretty good too. Food was great and super fresh!! Everyone was super friendly to US. That being said, during our visit a homeless woman came in and asked 1st at the counter if she could sale her a drink. The kind girl at the counter sold her a cup. She didn't bother anyone nor did she bat an eye to any of the other resteraunt patrons. As she was filling the cup up that SHE PAID FOR, what I can only assume was the shift manager came up and told her that she did not belong in there. Very loudly she says the manager has already told you. This was during lunch time and I just feel like there are better ways to address that situation. I also realize that clearly this young woman had been kicked out before, but the cashier said yes, ushered her to the register took her money and the girl cut through the resteraunts center. She looked at the worker and said I paid for this can I please just fill it?! The lady let her and then shooed her out the door. The worker then proceeded to scold the cashier for selling her a cup in the first place, all of the resteraunt floor for all of the patrons to see. I realize Panera is not responsible for the countries lack of mental health and homeless care that is available in the area, but compassion and caring for another human being clearly struggeling would be nice to see. Panera bread is one of the few places I like to eat out at because of their efforts in ditching artificial preservatives, sweeteners, flavors and colors, but what makes the company even better is the employees. Sometimes you walk into a restaurant and you can tell the employees hate their jobs and just do enough to collect a paycheck. That's not always the case though. My son and I met Mr Eric today and I was so impressed with his ability to multi task. Every time I looked up, he was clearing tables, cleaning up messed and asking customers if he needed anything and did it with such a positive attitude. I was especially impressed after he told us he's 68 years old! He was chatting with us long enough to make us feel so welcome, but not too long where we couldn't enjoy our meal. Employees like him are the kind of people that make going to eat at Panera Bread a pleasant experience. My son says he hopes Mr Eric will be there next time we eat here. Thanks Mr Eric! read more

Went to Panera today against my better judgement. The soups were pretty good but the sandwiches were disappointing. The price was absolutely ridiculous based on the product they put out. I didn't get his name but there was one man cleaning tables, he was the most helpful, I so wish I would've paid more attention to his name. I absolutely LOVE Panera Bread. They may be a tiny bit costly, but their food is SO YUMMY & good for you (mostly)!! I can use it as a reward for the weeks I do a good job (at anything, really, lol) and feel good about it :) I tend to get their Pick 2- turkey, apple, cheddar on raisin bread sandwiches with their tomato soup- HEAVENLY! And I get 1 of their large green passion papaya green teas- SO GOOD!! And then, I always get at least 1 of their desserts (seriously I have to treat this place as a reward place or I'd balloon up- they are so awesome!). My favorite is the Cinnamon Crunch Scone, but most of their desserts are really good. I haven't worked up the courage to try their Kitchen Sink cookie- it's like 800 calories for 1 cookie!! Truly dissatisfied, if you look at the picture of the apple I posted it made me sick to my stomach. I enjoyed the broccoli soup, but overall this was a huge downfall.
