The shrimp cocktail was delicious, the cocktail sauce, a bit spicy. Had too much pepper for me. When I mentioned that to the waiter, he told me it was not spicy. He said it only had pepper in it. I said well after I mixed it was a little better. I don't think a waiter should contradict what a customer says if there is a problem; he should help to alleviate the issue. Obviously, somebody didn't stir the cocktail sauce well, still the pepper was a bit heavy. What's troubling is I specifically asked the waiter if the sauce would be hot , as in spicy. My friend said the duck was very nice. As I recall, they served some complementary bread and it was good. I hope to go back to Palm Heights, where this restaurant is located, and I am sure to go back to Tillies.

We were a larger party of 11 and got a prime spot on the beach literally 10 feet from the softly lapping sea water. Our server had the sense to get the kids orders in and served to ensure a delightful experience for the adults. Make sure to peruse the specialty drink menu that can be crafted with our without alcohol. Our food choices roamed the entire menu and everyone loved their meals so feel free to take a suggestion or go your own route. I had a perfectly cooked burger that left me stuffed and satisfied. The menu is gorgeous and immediately gets you excited to order. There are so many creative, tempting options that choosing wasn't easy. We started with the tuna crudo, and wow...lights out. One of the best I've had anywhere. For my entrée, I followed Taj's recommendation and ordered the tiger shrimp with the chili oil on the side. Great call. I could add just the right amount of heat without overpowering the incredible red miso sauce. The sourdough served alongside deserves its own shoutout, it was fantastic. My husband had the snapper and loved every bite. The accompanying salad was fresh, bright, and tossed in an outstanding citrus vinaigrette. By the end we were completely stuffed and couldn't squeeze in dessert, which may have been the biggest disappointment of the night. Guess we'll just have to come back. I enjoyed the conch soup but it honestly just tasted like a beef soup I did not get conch flavor. The lobster bisque was only okay. The mains were the star, with the fresh catch of the day being perfectly prepared and the sides being on point. Where they really lost me was the service. We got water initially and did not get more until after we got the check. We would have ordered more cocktails or dessert but it just took way too long. It lacked the richness, spice, and depth that define it. Instead, it felt diluted and unfinished, as if the key elements never made it into the pan. The "curry goat" was even more disappointing. The sauce was thin to the point of being soupy, with little to no curry presence. The dish had no body, no warmth, no layering of flavor just water where there should have been depth. Even the rice was off, adding nothing to salvage the plate. These are foundational dishes in Caribbean cuisine.
