What I love about Panini Toscani is how customizable the sandwiches are. You can pick, choose and combine everything from the meat, to the cheese, to the toppings and the sauces. I thought the sandwich was delicious and that there was enough filling for it to be a substantial bite with all the flavors. The only thing i thought needed some work was the bread which felt more soft and crumbly on the inside than crispy. Other than that it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend checking it out!

The sandwiches were great. They let you sample the meats before selecting the ones you want. Then, you select the bread and cheese. Then you select the toppings for the sandwich. The sandwiches are huge but very delicious. Service is quick. There is limited seating but take away is a good option too. I'll be back.

The store is tiny and over crowded. An elderly gentleman stands at the entrance and tells you what to do. There are lines for every step of the way. The paninis are delicious and fresh. I loved the crispy bread. The staff is generally nice except the gentleman at the door who is not exactly the epitome of good nature and customer service. He took our debit card and selected convert to dollars instead of pay in Euros which is the more expensive choice. Then he threw away the receipt without asking. When my mother asked for the receipt ( to see how much we paid), he took the receipt out of the trash can and handed it to me. Although we liked the panini, we wont return while we are here because firstly, they are a bit pricey and secondly, we do not appreciate being treated like this.

Crispy crust on bread with soft interior, fresh meat and cheese - superb

Visited Panini Toscani recently with the family. The sandwiches were large, so I didn't request one. Instead, my wife and daughter each requested a sandwich and we split them. The sandwiches were delicious. They offer different types of bread, but the Italian bread with the crispy crust and soft interior is the one I like the most. The ingredients are second to none. The meats, the bread, and the toppings/sauces were all epic. The sandwiches are simple, delicious, and filling. It's a common theme to request one of these sandwiches around lunch time and there are cafes everywhere serving them. So the challenge becomes selecting a cafe from the sea of options. I'm glad we selected Panini Toscani because the sandwiches were awesome. Not all cafes offer the crispy Italian bread - some only offer focaccia bread, which I'm not a huge fan of. I highly recommend Panini Toscani.

I loved this place! It was located a thirty second walk near my hotel close to the Duomo. It's a small spot with a huge reputation. The staff were all great. Most spoke English and Italian, some just Italian. The meats are sliced right in front of you. One of the employees let us sample the assortment of meats that were going into the panini. Never an issue here. Lots of tables outside overlooking the beautiful views and culture of the city. Can't wait to go back.

Food: My favorite panini! Been here multiple times and it never disappoints. They have a variety of breads and they are all amazing. They provide meat and cheese samples prior to you ordering, which is a big plus. You can definitely taste the quality of their meats and cheeses. You also have 3 options of sides to put in your panini, mainly veggies and/or spreads. Service: Kindest staff. Ambiance: They have mainly outside seating but they also have two tables inside. It's pretty small but it's in a great location!

Amazing experience starting with this awesome guy, who was patient while I tried to select my bread .

Delicious sandwiches! After a quick search I found this delightful little sandwich shop right behind the Duomo. From the minute we walking into the small shop the gentleman asked if it was our first time- which I immediately said, "Yes!" He began giving us small samples of the meats and a piece of cheese. We then hand selected our bread of choose, meat, cheese and toppings. The sandwiches were toasted and then they called our names. We grabbed one of the tables, there are only 5 or so, but people are gracious to eat and offer their table. The owners greet you and help you find a table. Absolutely the most amazing sandwich we have ever had!

The place is very interesting. While the food was good, the options were interesting. Yes, there were lots of good options to choose, the shop is not very family-friendly in the sense of food options, though I do recommend coming here. The service was good, with only 3/4 employees, but they got the job done. Now, the shop is small, and the line starts at the back of the room and starts in the back room, and ends in the front. It is very tight/small in there, with not lots of space. I did though enjoy my food and experience, but it was not what I expected.

Delicious paninis! It's a small order at the counter place. The staff is very friendly and gives great recommendations. They have you try all of their meat and cheese options before you build your own panini. It was so fun trying all of their different meats and cheeses. Everything was so fresh, it was hard to choose. You choose your bread, meat, cheese, pesto, and any additional toppings. I added tomato and arugula. The paninis were big, we probably could have just split one. We took our order to go but there is an outdoor seating option on the street. We were there on a Saturday so it was pretty busy. It's a lively area! I definitely recommend stopping!

My wife and I explored Florence and stumbled across this gem. The city is known for their paninis. We had to get one! This place did not disappoint. We got the panini with prosciutto, aged pecorino (phenomenal), peppers and the amazing pesto. We shared one and still didn't finish it. When we ordered the staff was very helpful and offered recommendations and gave samples to ensure you would leave satisfied. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What a great little place to grab a panini. The sandwich was so very good and the service was amazing. There was no where left to sit so the older gentleman (think it was the owner), grabbed a chair and two crates for us. One crate for my husband to sit on as one to use as a table.

Incredible sandwiches, adorable vibe, one of the best meals I've eaten anywhere in Italy. This place absolutely blows Antico Vinaio out of the water. Ingredients were fresh, the employees were super friendly, and the Porchetta is not to be missed. Super convenient after visiting the Duomo

By the time we arrived and scoped out the Duomo, we were definitely ready for lunch. We were walking down the crowded cobblestone streets and decided that wanted a sandwich for lunch. We made a quick left turn and saw a line of people waiting. We weren't necessarily sure what they were waiting for until we inquired. Most people were waiting for sandwiches - SCORE! We decided to get in line and realized how quickly the line was moving. Traffic was being moved by their workers who were assisting with menu suggestions. We quickly got up to the front of the establishment and realized how tiny it is inside. It was so cool to see an actual Italian deli in action. From what I heard, they source their ingredients from local farmers, too! I ordered the La Rosa and my husband ordered the Gregorio (in honor of our friend Greg!). We waited outside for a few minutes while they prepared our order. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the bread was surprisingly crispy. The cost was super reasonable, too, for how much food you are getting. We will be back!

It was the first schiaccata spot we went to in Florence, and they set the bar really high. We arrived around 12pm on a Thursday. The line was out the door, but one of the employees managing the queue informed us that we were in a good spot. The line honestly moved quickly. We waited 15-20 minutes at most before placing our order. The restaurant has limited seating upstairs, but luckily we were able to snag a spot. I ordered one of their vegetarian specials, the 3 cheese blend with signature spicy sauce, and added turkey carpaccio. You can customize the sandwiches as you please. The sound of the crunch of the bread was the price of admission right there. The ingredients all tasted amazing, but the paper thin sliced turkey and spicy marinara really stood out to me the most. If I have to be really nitpicky, I did think that the bread doesn't have longevity. Could be that my sandwich was so saucy, which makes the bread soggy and gummy sooner than other other types.

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. True to its name, Pino's Sandwiches offers an impressive variety of sandwiches. When my friends and I arrived, the line was out the door, which is usually a good sign, and it definitely was. Dedpite the crowd, we were seated and served within about twenty minutes. The service was excellent, and it was great to see the owner behind the counter making sandwiches alongside the staff. One fun touch for visiors from the U.S., the restaurant is decorated with several American college pennants, which adds a warm, familiar vibe in the middle of Italy.
