My mother had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this office. She told the nurse that her knees and eyes hurt, but the nurse never communicated this to the doctor. When the doctor left, the nurse told my mom, "oh well, you can only ask for three things, you're asking for more, he already left." That is unacceptable. On top of that, my mom needed a DMV form. Since the doctor had already left, she was told to come back the next day. Frustrating, but she agreed. When she returned, she had to wait a very long time just to be seen. Another doctor reviewed her chart but said there was "no record" and refused to sign the form she needed. They sent her to the front desk for help, but when she spoke with Denise, she was extremely rude and dismissive. Instead of assisting, Denise told my mom "we don't do that, you have to call." This entire experience was a mess of miscommunication, lack of compassion, and outright rudeness. My mom left without the care or forms she needed. Sadly, she will not be returning here. When you seek medical care, you hope for professionalism, kindness, and respect. Unfortunately, this office showed none of that. Patients deserve better.

I was not impressed by the doctor at all. He acted like the accident was my fault. He also was only trying to make excuses to make me keep coming back for more visits with him. I decided to call kaiser because they are my normal insurance provider and they were shocked at how my cut was cleaned. They thought I did it myself. I told my primary care doctor that I had just left another doctor and he didn't believe me. I would tell you to avoid this place, but I hear that many large companies in the high desert use them for things like drug testing and preemployment physicals. So we can't really avoid this place.

For starters, Deborah is so outstanding that I changed to her at the beginning of this year. As fabulous as Deborah is, Dr. Salwan is even more so! They are caring, compassionate, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They explain diagnoses, tests, and treatments without sounding patronizing or condescending. Our sole problem with this office is that we've had problems with getting medications being sent to the wrong pharmacy, sometimes not sent at all. I deal with this by getting to know the women in the back office by name and addressing them whenever I call about any prescription problems. All in all, we are both quite happy with the way Dr. Salwan and his staff handle our medical care. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
