The staff was very nice! I was seen right away and Sonia Nayyar MD is now my primary doctor. I was able to get my blood pressure medicine right away. Also a referral to see a neurologist and lab work order. I was able to accomplish everything I needed to do! read more

I went once a few years back and was really disappointed. He never did show up to see me. The nurse took me into a room and I sat down and she asked me one curious question. She asked "do you sit down a lot?" I found that to be odd. I'd heard about Dr. Salwan through a couple who said he'd actually healed them both. However he suggested that they move to a different climate which was Hawaii. So they did move there. I guess their condition had something to do or was aggravated by the local environment. I wish he would have come in the room to see me. I understand he's a really good doctor. One comment on the paperwork I thought was kinda odd. I had to agree to not go "Doctor Shopping." I wouldn't have done it had he came into the room to see me. I left and never went back. read more

This office has negligent and incompetent office staff. After getting into an accident and getting treated at a good Hospital, I was told to follow up with my doctor for getting a referral. I went to Dr. Salwan's office on 2/7/25 and was told the referral would be rushed for an operation that was required. I called every weekday after that, asking if the referral came. Each day I was told no referral yet. I contacted the insurance company on 2/18/25 {after a week and a half,} and was told the referral was approved 2 days after requesting it. Dr. Salwan's incompetent staff told me no, when I called each day! Too stupid or just negligent to look for my referral! This staff that works here are the worst! I wouldn't trust them with a bloody nose! read more

Office staff seems confused. Unable to process credit card over the phone without help. No clear cut policy regarding collection of co pay from Medicare patients. In many years of Medicare coverage ( 17 years) I have NEVER had a provider REQUIRE the 20% copay before a tele health appointment. The 20% copay was all of $18.78 . ALL of my other providers are happy to send a balance bill AFTER the fact. Only certain types of providers require payment BEFORE services. Will be looking for another provider ASAP. read more

It's clean and nice inside. The front desk girls are very nice and patient. I do however have a little trouble making an appointment sometimes because whoever answers their phones doesn't always answer in a timely manner and i have to call repeatedly, but usually when someone answers they are nice. Today I saw Michelle who is a NP and she was great. Told me what I needed to know and answered my questions. I'm not sure who I saw my first time around he kept using language like "for sure for sure" which was really annoying as I've never head a medical "professional" talk this way. He was very incompetent and said my vitamin D was great which I knew was wrong, when I went in today and saw Michelle she told me it was bad and prescribed some for me. So whoever this guy was is a moron, I'm sure you can figure out who he is by the way he speaks. Other than that, this is an ok place. read more

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Salwan's PA, Deborah for about 5 years now. Because of a non-related health issue of hers, we have been dealing with Dr. Salwan during the whole CoVid-19 time period. For starters, Deborah is so outstanding that I changed to her at the beginning of this year. As fabulous as Deborah is, Dr. Salwan is even more so! They are caring, compassionate, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They explain diagnoses, tests, and treatments without sounding patronizing or condescending. Our sole problem with this office is that we've had problems with getting medications being sent to the wrong pharmacy, sometimes not sent at all. I deal with this by getting to know the women in the back office by name and addressing them whenever I call about any prescription problems. All in all, we are both quite happy with the way Dr. Salwan and his staff handle our medical care. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Do not go to this doctor if you need prescriptions, Dr. Salwan's office staff is completely incompetent and will always refuse to call in prescriptions no matter how many times you call them. My father, Duward, has been waiting for his INSULIN SINCE DECEMBER!!!!!! That is totally horrendous and should be illegal. His office staff should be arrested for endangerment. read more

While Dr. Salwan is a wonderful, caring doctor, his office staff are the most inept group of people I have ever dealt with. They constantly say they called in a prescription refill however they never do. The doctor puts multiple refills on my prescription but his office staff ignore his orders and only put one refill causing me to have to make another appointment. I think they do this for the copay. Shame on them. They schedule an appointment on a certain day and when I get there they tell me I didn't have an appointment. Today when I called to verify I had an appointment - "We don't have you scheduled, and the next appointment is a week away. Sorry!" Have scheduled my final appointment with this office and I will inform the Dr. that, though I like him and have confidence in him, I do not have confidence in his staff. read more

I have only recently started coming to this doctors office and I thought it worth mentioning...if you have an appointment it doesn't seem to matter they pass people back who got here after me even though I have an appointment. I didn't do my homework before I called Dr. Salwans office for an appointment. My fault. I should have read all the negative reviews on Google about the staff. First of all I was going to be charged 133$ for a phone appointment. I had to get my insurance person on a 3 way call to explain to the lady its only 25$. Then of course I was charged 35$ because it is a disability claim and that was their fee. Now they want to charge me an extra 35$ because of a request from another company requested my diagnosis. I guess that is the fee for a fax. I'm sure if they had coffee available it would be 10$ for a cup. Then after I do lab work they will change me an office visit to have the results read back to me. I have had the absolute worst experience I have ever had in this health issue. Omg I miss Kaiser. They never ever had extra fees for faxes and dr notes and to read back results. They would actually call me and tell me over the phone. No fee. And of course I left a voicemail with the billing person a week ago and surprised haven't gotten a call back. Please check the reviews on Google before ever calling this office. read more

My husband is a fire fighter with the best insurance there is through Blue Cross Blue Shield. My Mother goes to this doctor already and has Blue Cross Blue Shield as well. The insurance website says they take it and that they are a provider however I was told today they do not take my insurance. Maybe they have something against firemen. Who knows?
