Been to Pan Pan Wok several times now. It is our new go-to for Chinese food in Visalia. Sure, you can sit down, they have a few tables. We always just get ours to go. It's fast food Chinese. Nothing super fancy, but it is delicious. The staff is always friendly and very quick, and the store has always been clean.

Food was delicious and you get so much of it! The people were friendly and talkative it was nice. It was clean and cold inside so definitely a place to eat and relax! The picture doesn't do the quantity of food you get justice it's a lot

Food overall was; "way too salty". Coconut Shrimp lacked flavor, tasted like salt and completely lacked any sweetness. Orange Chicken and Spicy chicken were just "ok". Started with flavor, didn't end that way. Texture was great with some crispy pieces on the chicken, but then I started to get more rubbery, fatty pieces. Chow Mein and Fried Rice both lacked flavor, the chow mein was very greasy and soggy. Service was nice. The girl who helped us was super sweet, they really stacked these plates high for the price! Plus they were quick to refill the empty platters for fresh product. That's what made it such a let down for us when the flavors didn't hit! Ambiance is ok. It's in the corner of the shopping center, plenty of seating. Overall it's a pass for us at this moment. We might try to come back later on down the road. Hopefully the portion sizes stay massive for the price. $8 bucks for 2 sides and one entree or $12 for 2 entrees and 2 sides. If you're looking for good Chinese food in town "minus" the coconut shrimp, head to the food court in the mall. Cooks at this spot need to work out some kinks before we decide to come back.

Was hoping to love but was very disappointed. Orange chicken was hard. Chow mein was not the best either.

Food was good, egg flower soup hit the spot. Reminds me of Chinese food served in LA.

Food needs flavor and staff needs to pay attention to the customer in front of them while they are ordering. No stars

It was his favorite Chinese restaurant when he lived in Visalia. I had not been in many years, so I went with him for dinner one evening, and it was good. Not my favorite in this area, but good. The food was really solid. Very delicious, excellent food. We ordered family style, so we got great portions. However, the service when we went was very slow and definitely lacking. We knew exactly what we wanted within about a minute of sitting down, so we did the typical set the menus aside and fold our hands to signal the server that we were ready to order. It took more than 10 minutes before we were able to finally get a waitress to take our order. Not that there weren't waitresses there, they just kept walking by and saying someone else would get back to us to take our order. Our appetizer arrived 25 minutes after we arrived. Yes, it was so noticeable, I WAS paying attention to the times. We started off with the fried chicken wings, spring rolls, and tempura scromp-scromps. They were all good. Again, not my favorite in Visalia, but still quite good. A few minutes later, we got the Beef & Egg flower soup. Now, I love me some egg flour, soup, but then you go and throw some meat in it? Next level. That was definitely better than other Chinese restaurants in Visalia. Our main dishes started arriving at 31 minutes. We got the Orange Chicken, Honey Walnut Scromp-scromps, and Beef with Broccoli. These were all very delicious arguably as good or close to my favorite Chinese restaurants in town. The restaurant was relatively busy when I was there, so I didn't take any inside pics, but the inside is nice. The restaurant seemed clean and the prices were reasonable. It was really the service that we had issue with, and found lacking. It could've been a isolated event, I don't know. Even my brother was disappointed.

The target customer demographic in this area isn't generally Asian, so we tempered our expectations before dining here. We were impressed by the extensive menu offerings and after some deliberation, we settled on the Dinner for Two which started with a Won Ton Soup and fried shrimp and pot stickers as appetizers. The entree included sizzling rice wor bar, Peking pork and pork fried rice (we substituted for pork chow mein). The restaurant was very traditional in closing the meal out with fortune cookies. Our favorite due to its flavor was the Peking pork, and we also enjoyed the fried shrimp, pot stickers and sizzling rice wor bar. The only misses were the Won Ton Soup (we felt the flavor of the broth was not quite right) and the pork chow mein (it arrived lukewarm and lacking in flavor but it was an improvement after dousing it in chili sauce). Chinese Kitchen doesn't appear to be located in the best neighborhood, but it is easy to tell that this establishment has been around for quite some time. The best part of our dining experience was the service. Our greeter and server welcomed us, took our order and checked in on us multiple times. We also had the opportunity to chat with the owner and she is very welcoming and helpful. If you're in Visalia and have a craving for Chinese cuisine, Chinese Kitchen is as good an option as any!

But my friends who recommended it they've came but only for the drinks on the Lum Lums side. Hong Kong is the the food side apparently. So I ordered the Shrimp Fu Yung. I got stir fried shrimp with veggies over a clump of breaded onion. The shrimp was over cooked veggies were fine. The breaded onion seemed like it might have been reheated from a previous unused dish. If it wasn't for the gravy it wouldn't have rehydrated. Wasn't this an Egg Foo Yung dish, instead it was a clump of breaded onions. That's how bad it was. This place was busy but don't know why. The other people I was with ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, fried plain wontons, sweet and sour chicken. They all seem to enjoy it. They received a lot of food. But a lot was taken home as leftovers. My friends are also non-Asian and not a big foodie like me. So take that however you want. It's sad when businesses close but to make a highly traditional dish like egg foo yung terrible, that is a sign.
