So happy I found Pho Family, the best food I have had over the last few days while here on Business. I was a little worried, I get Pho in Los Angeles all the time, hoped this would be as good and happily it was. Food was so fresh, full of flavor and so many veggies, tasty and a more healthy option. The prices are very reasonable as well. The service here is fast, the food also comes out very fast. I guess the one thing you should know is when you are done, they don't bring you a bill right away. If you are done and ready, go up to the register and tell them your table number. That way you are not waiting around. The restaurant itself is pretty simple, open, bright with lots of seating. It was very clean as well. As soon as people were finished they were there cleaning up the tables getting it ready for the next customer. I ended up getting the family combo vermicelli. It comes with vermicelli noodles of course, tons of fresh veggies, a couple spring rolls, grilled shrimp, bbq pork and fish sauce to pour over. Add your spices and hoisin sauce to your liking. I recommend this dish, I wish I could have tried one of their Bahn Mi sandwiches or some of their actual Pho, but I am sure it is excellent. I think if they added some beer to the menu, it would be a hit for them as well. Enjoy!

Thinly sliced, cooked steak pho

The service is great, and I actually like the location too. I ordered the pho soup with cooked brisket and steak, and my mom ordered the steak, with some shrimp spring rolls. The lettuce in the shrimp was very wilted, and the rolls were really dry, thankfully the sauce was delicious. The soup was full of tendon, instead of meat, and there was no steak to be found...like anywhere, and it smelled off. The steak soup was full of thinly sliced steak, and it was delicious. I haven't given up on this place, there is still a few more things I really want try. So I will definitely be back!!

Quant little pho family style restaurant. Very good taste and portions. Customer service a bit slow and unresponsive. Fair prices. Overall would return!

Bun Rieu and Avocado smoothie

Food was good! Got the Bun Rieu and an avocado smoothie. The server was attentive and the restaurant has a cute vibe. Restaurant and restroom was clean.

#85 garlic noodles with vegetables + tofu

I'm excited to have more tofu options in Tulare! The food is good and so is the service. I've had the garlic noodles, the noodles themselves were good not super flavorful but the veggies and tofu were, I wish I had some chili crunch to add to the noodles. The vermicelli was very fresh, and the tofu it came with was very flavorful. Good veg options!

Little meat, warm broth (not hot unfortunately) and very bland broth.

I was excited for the grand opening of this restaurant especially for Tulare given there's no other Vietnamese restaurant. I was super disappointed. We ordered the family pho, pork and shrimp spring rolls. We even did the family appetizers. The thing that was wrapped in banana leaves tasted old and was over cooked because the flour was super hard, you could barely chew on it. The pho had very little meat and the broth was bland. Our pho broth came warm and I was going to ask them to make me a new bowl. But decided not to. Who wants warm broth? The shrimp spring rolls were not wrapped tightly so didn't look appetizing and didn't care for the taste. Their pork roll was better. We also ordered the sandwich. That was the only thing we enjoyed along with their Vietnamese ice coffee. The service was terrible. We were the only customers there besides 4 other customers and the employees about 8 of them were all sitting together in a corner. I walked passed the kitchen to use the bathroom and I can see a lot of trash/food/paper etc on the ground in the kitchen. I was surprised to see so many stuff in plain sight on the kitchen floor and their workers just sitting in the corner. We had to wait a good while before someone even acknowledged us and we never got our extra bowl we asked for. We even gave them a second try and we're sadly disappointed. We never got refills on our water. We had to flag someone down the first time. It was so unprofessional. We could hear them arguing in their native tongue. We left and there was no thank you have a good night, nothing. I understand it's a family business but they need to hire actual real employees that will actually do their job and help their business succeed. Definitely will not return. Food overall was terrible and the service was the worse. They're so unprofessional. They were not welcoming or friendly.

The Korean bbq ribs had great flavor

The food was very delicious & fresh. I'll definitely be back. The environment was calm and was welcoming. I did not feel rushed like other restaurants.

Great decor, clean, and friendly. Pho is legit, spring rolls could use a bit more filling.

The impeccable service and seasoned meats here set the bar incredibly high. This steakhouse will be…read moreour newest go to celebratory restaurant. There were two options: the full experience rodizio or the salad bar and side dishes only. However, when we were seated, we were immediately told the instructions for the full experience. Personally I would only do the full experience as the salad bar wasn't varied or tasty enough for the $34.95 price tag. The salad bar and hot foods were on the mushier side. I wished the sauces were formatted in a different format as the chimichurri sauce was very far from the edge. Hence, there was a high risk of cross contamination and spillage. The mustard pasta salad was bland and limp. The potato salad fared a similar dull taste and resembled a starchy lump. The tomatoes were grainy and dry. The pao de queijo was disappointedly under the ray of death so they weren't too hot nor crispy. I wished my party got to experience fresher baskets of bread. =FULL EXPERIENCE= We were told that there were 17 available meats but we only experienced some of them. However, we enjoyed how we got to taste them when they were hot and cooked perfectly. *Picanha: one of my favorites. The fat cap was rendered and seasoned well. The meat was medium rare, tender and juicy. This had the greatest beef flavor. *Chicken with Bacon: the chicken was tender but the bacon had a stronger smokey flavor. The bacon shone more than the chicken. *Pork Belly: my other favorite piece. There were bits of fat dispersed throughout so it was moist and flavorful. There was subtle crispiness from the fat browning. *Spicy Linguica: the spice was subtle and the casing gave a satisfying snap. The interior was juicy but it was on the saltier side. *Pork Ribs: surprisingly tender and fall of the bone. The sauce was a sweeter barbeque and the ribs were on the wetter side. There wasn't any smokiness, char or caramelization but the flavors and texture were still good. *Peppered Steak: on the tougher side but still oozed out meaty juice. *Garlic Steak: similar to the peppered steak only saltier. The garlic flavor wasn't very prominent and this piece left me thirsty. I would have preferred a garlic sauce as opposed to the concentrated garlic powder taste. *Tri Tip: the best option for a leaner cut. The meat was tender and juicy. This was similar in flavor to the picanha but without the fattiness. *Grilled Cinnamon Pineapple: the cinnamon hardened around the pineapple, offering a satisfying crunch followed by a gush of sweet fruitiness. The simplistically made this my favorite rendition from a Brazilian steakhouse. This was a great meal ender despite us getting flan afterwards. *NY Strip: this was a daily special. This was a leaner cut so the beefiness was prominent but I preferred the other meats with more fat. =A LA CARTE= Not included in the all you can eat experience. *Mojito: refreshing and citrusy. There was a good amount of alcohol included. *Pudim: great way to end the meal. The Brazilian flan was dense and creamy. There was a thin layer of caramel sauce on top but it wasn't too sweet. The portion size was nicely shareable between two people. Unfortunately, they didn't bring out the shrimp until we were full so we didn't get to try it. Otherwise the service was consistent and attentive. Our server even asked about which meats were our favorites so they could bring them back out for us. There were multiple groups celebrating birthdays and they brought out their staff to sing happy birthday. During an all you can eat experience, good service is the lifeline and this was some of the best service I've received. The ambiance was stellar and this was my favorite dining experience in the Central Valley. The meats blew the salad bar and sides out of the water so I would return just for that. Although this was a pricier option, the quality and service were 5 stars.

Use their app and get on the wait list before you arrive. Parking is simple, a little tight if you have a big truck but plenty of spaces. We hardly waited for our table because we used the app to get on the wait list. The restaurant is huge. There are TV's that go 360 around the bar, so if you go to watch a game it looks like a fun time. The place was packed, but once we ordered we were served our food in a reasonable amount of time. We both ordered steaks and they were fantastic. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars, is because there were mistakes made with our orders, and the sides were cold. When we left there was a huge line of people waiting, so we were glad to have gotten seated early. It is definitely an experience, it's not a quite restaurant. I think it would be a fun place to celebrate a birthday with a bigger group.
