I went in for a simple filling, during the filling he started yelling at his assistant for other supplies, then he went out of the room and the dental assistant tells me that he is now doing a root canal, and she hates when starts a different procedure without telling the patient. So he started a root canal on me without even telling me or consulting with me about it! And to top it off he did a real crappy job on the root canal due to the fact that I still experience pain in the tooth. He is a piss poor excuse for a professional. On the bright side his staff were very friendly, and the dental assistant I had was excellent!

I saw Dr. Dalley for the first time. Because of a bad childhood experience with a dentist, it can be very stressful having dental work. He was so very kind and reassuring. He explained what he was going to do before he did it, putting me at ease. His assistant, Keisha, was also wonderful! She was so kind and compassionate, making sure I was okay every step of the way. In fact, everyone in the office made me feel welcome. Without a doubt, I would recommend this practice to anyone.

I have moved to Ruckersville, VA, and I joined the Greene Comprehensive Dentistry practice because it was only 5 minutes away from my house. I went to this practice to have my crown re-cemented. The assistant took five X-rays of the location of my crown, which was not good., too many X-rays. Then the dentist came in. I asked him to make sure that the screw of the implant was free from old cement. He told me it was and his assistant has cleaned the crown. He also told me that he was going to use a temporary cement, as he referred to a soft cement. So I did not question his decision. A week later, the crown came out again. When I looked at the crown I noticed the hole in the crown was much larger than the original one. His assistant made the hole much larger than the original one, which she should not have done. She damaged my crown by doing that. This is the worst practice I have ever been at. Stay away from it,

I came in with a crown from my…read moreold dentist that had an open margin, and honestly I was nervous about what she might suggest. Instead of just doing a replacement at her office, she actually advised me to go back to my previous dentist first, which ended up being super helpful because it revealed some decay I didn't even know I had. Once that was addressed, she carefully treated my tooth and made sure everything was solid. The whole office made me feel really comfortable. Gustavo, her assistant, is awesome--he explains everything while you're in the chair, makes sure you're relaxed, and is just really patient. Astrid, the treatment plan coordinator, is amazing too. She walked me through insurance, payment options, scheduling, and even helped me figure out how to fit bleaching into my plan, which was totally complimentary. That little extra detail really made me feel like they cared about me as a patient, not just the procedure. Dr. Chrisopoulos herself is incredible. She explains every step of what she's doing, answers all your questions, and makes sure you really understand your options. After my treatment she even followed up to check how I was doing and to make sure I didn't have any pain or issues. She's super precise, but also genuinely cares about your comfort and long-term oral health. Honestly, this team makes going to the dentist feel way less stressful than it should. Gustavo and Astrid make everything smooth, and Dr. Chrisopoulos is skilled, thorough, and really honest about what you need. On top of that, the office does small touches like complimentary teeth bleaching and checking in after procedures that make the whole experience feel personal. I left feeling like my teeth were in the best hands possible, and I actually look forward to coming back.

Disclaimer: A dentist can be ah-mazing, however, if the staff are not as amazing, it could prevent…read morerepeat customers...or at least this is my belief! So here we go...while on a search for a new dental office, I read about Lux. I decided to give them a try...and here's how it went: Location: Located in a plaza setting with plenty of parking. They offer two doors (one entrance and one exit), so be sure to enter/exit as noted. First Impression: Upon entering, there is an adequate space full of seating, water, and a welcoming receptionist. Check-in went seamless (be sure to do your paperwork ahead of time to breeze through check-in). NOTE: I am not sure how much time is needed if you have paperwork to complete upon arrival. The Visit: I was called back minutes after arriving to a beautiful space of private patient 'suites'. Each room, with its own door, offered updated technology, televisions (two), comfortable seating, and a bowl with mouthwash amenities. I was instructed to rinse with mouthwash, and place my belongings down before going for scans. (A new office means new scans if the insurance timing align!) Scans were easy, space was clean, and dental staff pleasant! Now that scans were done, my hygienist spoke about what the visit would look like including the cleaning techniques, expectations, and how we would end with the dentist coming in to review everything at the end. Before we started, she offered to turn to my favorite show (I did not have a preference, so we decided on a Netflix show). She asked if I wanted a blanket and I am sure I answered "YES" before she could get the full question out. The office temp is very comfortable...but offer me a clean blanket anywhere, and you've got a best friend for life! After a thorough review of my mouth and my personal routine (retainer babe here), she got to it. It was soooooo good. I watched my show, and did not flinch one time. I loved it so much! After the cleaning, the dentist came in and reviewed the cleaning, went over every detail (really really appreciated), he made sure I did not leave with any questions. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness and supportive staff. I loved the cleaning and how much effort went into making sure I was comfortable and left with zero questions. My next appointments (plural) were made before exiting and I am excited to go back! You may be wondering what went bad? At check-out, I noticed I did not have one of those take-home bags of toothpaste, dental floss, and toothbrush. During the cleaning we discussed my use of an electonic toothbrush, so maybe that is why?!? Either way, I asked for dental floss before leaving (you can never have too much), and my hygienist provided it promptly. If the baggie of goodies is the worst part, I'd say you have yourself a winner! If you are in need of a change or just want to give Lux a try, please go and share your experience. I would love to hear how things went for you! xo
