At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest. We won't be back and will advise our local friends as well. Pro tip: religion and politics are NOT appropriate employee conversions amongst the paying customers.

And service was attentive and water was consistently refilled. Just one caveat, for larger groups, Nighthawk Tavern adds a gratuity to the check.
