At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest. We won't be back and will advise our local friends as well. Pro tip: religion and politics are NOT appropriate employee conversions amongst the paying customers.

At ~$15, it's not particularly cheap, but it's roughly in line with the current market. Choose from ~29 flavors. I honestly don't necessarily have a go to. I also would like to recommend Fireball consider adding a spicy barbecue sauce as one of the flavor options. The wings and fries have been perfect every single visit. It's honestly remarkable that they haven't missed yet considering how many times I've visited. As with anything, this is of course a matter of personal preference. I'm sure some may prefer extra crispy. They'll, of course, happily oblige any customer who requests it. Among the many great things about this restaurant is the fact that they don't nickel-and-dime you. All flats or all drums often carries a surcharge, but not at this restaurant. Some places (I'm looking at you Zaxby's) are very stingy with sauces. I'm sure there are hard limits to how much they will give for free, but I once saw the owner give a regular customer a few ramekins of yum yum sauce for no charge, even though the customer was prepared to pay. I usually choose to dine in, and the dining room is pretty comfortable. There are a ton of condiments available, including lemon pepper and Cajun seasoning. The drink options are standard in some ways but unique in others, with the option for Fruit Punch. and this Peach Drink, along with the usual soda favorites. I agree with Denise. I'd say this is probably the best restaurant between Atlanta and Charlotte.

We opted for the pretzel bun rather than the standard brioche, and that was a .50 cent up charge but totally worth it. The bun was fresh and actually tasted like a pretzel bun instead of dry, overdone, hard bread. The fries were well cooked and were also great. House ranch did not disappoint either. If there was one low point it was the Nashville hot sauce. It had no flavor aside from raw cumin. But look... I can live with an .89 cent sauce being the only negative out of everything we ordered. The pizzas, described as Chicago Style, were a thin crust pie. (Somebody needs to visit Chicago-Town for a primer). But, both pies disappeared. A fajita bowl and burrito bowl both vanished. My Greek gyro was overstuffed with lamb and fillings. Absolutely fantastic. And the spicy chicken fingers also vanished. Zero leftovers on ole servings. The food was that good. And service was attentive and water was consistently refilled. Just one caveat, for larger groups, Nighthawk Tavern adds a gratuity to the check.
