Fair warning: it runs a little heavy on the vinegar for my taste, though not enough to hurt the salad. The salad itself was generous, crispy, and fresh, nothing wilted. That matters more than people give credit for. Service was by Emily, who was attentive, got my order right, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Jefferson's knows what they are. When I called 8/22 about the missing wings (2) and not receiving all flats on the 6 piece I spoke to a female manager. She was argumentative and did not fix the issue whatsoever. I was planning to stop in today 8/23 even though it's a 45 minute drive. She said it would be her there today, and honestly not looking to argue. Wasn't looking for a full refund. Being charged for product not received is poor business practice. This is a coaching opportunity for the kitchen, expo, and apparently the manager as well. I only worked there for a few months, but I know several people who stayed for years and still work there today. Like many mom-and-pop restaurants, there are definitely areas where OSHA standards and food-handling practices could be improved. The employees work hard and get the job done, but I genuinely believe stronger management and better employee support would help this place thrive for another 30 years. Snappy's is one of those places people always find themselves coming back to -- not just for the food, but for the atmosphere and the people behind it.
