I placed an order for delivery on Friday night. The driver called and told me that he was downstairs so I went to meet him. Once I got outside he was nowhere to be found. A few minutes later I get a phone call from the driver ( with a really nasty attitude) telling me that I should be downstairs. I told him I was and he said" ohh S!%& I'm at the wrong address I'll be there in a minute. Once he finally gets here he says "come get your food! ". I am appalled and proceed to tell him that delivery to front door man just that. He gave a nasty look and sped off. I called the store to speak with the manager and he was no better than the driver. Despite this establishment being dead smack in the hood amongst the rude hooligans, they have good pizza, wings and very good customer service. The owner/manager is usually there. Even when they are short staffed, they maintain very good customer service despite the rude customers. I am a very traditional pizza eater. I ordered my normal cheese pizza with chipotle wings. My phone made the wings look dark and burnt but they were perfect and delicious. If you order here, they're wings are better than any local establishment. Juicy, flavor and never dry. read more

This was the worst pizza I've ever had. For the first time in my life I had to actually throw a pizza out it was so bad. First of all, the app tracker is a lie, said it was delivered but arrived 30 min later. Then the delivery guy drops it off with his mask on his chin. Even then, I'm excited about pizza so I happily return to my apt and open up the boxes. It was visually dried up pizza with huge tasteless toppings. I said extra sauce but it barely had any. First off, my family and I waited about two hours until we received our food, upon receiving the food, the delivery guy would not even get out of the car to deliver the pizza but expected a $3 fee. To top it off, we received our pizza and one is missing and the other pizza is COLD!!! What kind of service is that?? We ordered for delivery from this location and waited over an hour for our pizza. I understand delivery can take longer but the only reason I'm giving a bad review is because my app said the pizza had been delivered and yet no one had actually delivered the pizza. We waited for about 10 mins before we called thinking maybe the app had an issue. They stated on the phone it would be about five mins more, we again patiently waited for another ten mins and called again to get a similar response. Finally we got the delivery five minutes later. I just had the worst experience trying to place an order with papa johns. I order from this place all the time the same way. However for some reason today they did not want to send me my order. I used visa checkout to place my order (because I do not keep my physical card with me at all times). Shortly after placing the order I received a call stating I would need to show my card and I.d before I could get my order. I explained that I do not keep a physical card but I have my I.d which matches the name on my account plus I gave the guy the last 4 numbers of the account number associated with the order. I was told that it did not matter. At this time I told them to just forget it and cancel the order. The guy in the phone told me that he would ask his manager if he could complete the order anyway because I was clearly able to prove that this was in fact my account. He said he would call me back. Shortly after I received a call from Tomar the manager he simply said I cancelled your order then hung up on me!! I called back asking when I could expect my money to be returned back to my card, he replied "I don't know bro, like 2 days I guess" then hung up on me again. I had a horrible experience ordering from here. I originally ordered from Domino's and it took them about 2 hours to deliver my order so I canceled it. I resorted to Papa John's but the experience was just as bad if not even worst then Dominio's. I spoke to the manager and he wasn't apologetic about all the time it took for me to receive my order. The pizza I ordered was not up to my standards, even for Papa John's. I ordered a pie with everything and the jalapeño popper rolls. The popper rolls had some dried out jalapeño slices and no cheese at all in them, not even the ranch could help them. The pizza was kinda dried up, and the ingredients seemed stale. I wish I could give this place zero stars!!!! Our food took almost two hours to get here and it was cold. we were hungup on by the worker who answered the phone when we were inquiring about how much longer the food would be and the tracker said that it was delivered already. We called back again and he said it would be there in five minutes... 20+ minutes went by and the food still wasn't there. I ordered pizza from here and my entire family got sick! I love Papa John's, but I will never order from them again!

We ordered a pizza and cheese bread. 1 hour later no dipping sauce and the wrong toppings. When we called, they said the manager was not in the store but we could wait another hour and they would " exchange" the pizza we had with a fresh one. That's right - they demanded the wrong one back. No worries, we were happy to give it back but when the fresh pizza arrived, the cheese and sauce had slid over to one side of the pie. The driver called from our driveway to tell the store to re-make the pizza and he would be right back. 1 and 1/2 hours later, still no pizza. We called and Kitana, who was very nice, informed us that the order had been cancelled and would be refunded because the delivery driver had just quit. She thought we had been called but she would leave a note for the manager that our next pizza should be free. Staff gets points for being nice but, they have one job and they couldn't even do that. Worse papa John's ever. They take FOREVER to deliver, when you call they don't take you serious at all. You just hear a bunch of what sounds like teenagers laughing. The employee and store manager were the absolute worst. I have been ordering from them through the app for a year, and they have never called to verify. They called me on my last order, right after the order was placed, and when I called back they told me they had cancelled my order. They nastily explained that "they always call to confirm orders", when that is absolutely NOT TRUE. I kindly explained to the manager that they had never confirmed and he imposed a counter response of "I assure you we do". I have never received a confirmation call from them in my life. I've only received calls when they have reached my door. I asked for his name and employee ID to escalate to upper management and he said "I'm not giving you anything. This is a franchise, and we can do what we want!" I told him that as a representation of the papa John's brand, he should uphold their standards. He laughed and told me, "good luck. Placed an order online as I always do driver refused to deliver order. Called manager and he (Dennis) told me it was up to the driver whether they wanted to deliver an order or not. He is the only driver we have ever had a problem with (Shogbanmu). He had an attitude when he called for us to come down for it. Now I have to wait to see if my money is refunded to my card.
